The days passed quickly for Kaido, but he was still stuck in that strange moment he had shared with the mysterious girl. Her words, "Are you here for the same reason?" echoed endlessly in his mind. He couldn't shake the strange feeling that overwhelmed him when she said those words, as if she knew more about him than he knew about himself. Who was she? And why did she know his name?
In those days, Kaido began to notice something unusual happening in his village. He heard from some villagers about people suddenly disappearing. No trace, no clue about their whereabouts. This ignited a sense of unease in his heart, especially since things seemed calm on the surface, but something invisible was happening. He wondered if these incidents had anything to do with his experience with that mysterious girl.
It wasn't long before the girl appeared again. One night, as Kaido was walking through the forest near his village, he spotted her in the distance. She was standing there, as if waiting for him. He couldn't resist himself, so he ran after her. His heart raced from the girl who stirred a mixture of curiosity and fear within him.
His steps quickened as he tried to catch up with her, but with every step, it felt like the distance was increasing. He entered deeper into the forest, a place that once felt familiar, but as time went on, it became denser and darker. The air grew heavy, and strange sounds increased around him. The trees thickened, making the place feel even more isolated. At that moment, he suddenly stopped. He felt something strange in the air, something he couldn't explain.
As he stood in complete silence, he felt the presence of something invisible watching him. His breath quickened, and his heart beat at an unusually fast pace. Then, the shadows appeared. Kaido began to feel that this forest was no longer what it used to be. Something in the depths of the darkness was watching him, and it was about to reveal itself.
At that moment, he noticed a strange shape approaching him. The shadow slowly took on a human form. It was the girl again, but this time there was something different. Her eyes were incredibly dark, as if they emitted some mysterious energy.
"You're here, just as I expected..." the girl said in a calm tone, as though she had anticipated his actions.
But as soon as Kaido moved, he felt something heavy pressing on him from all directions, as if the forest had turned into an enclosed space, with no escape. He tried to breathe deeply, but something felt strange in the air, as if everything around him was becoming more tense.
That moment was filled with mystery and fear. He wondered to himself: Was he here for another reason? And was this the thing that had been hidden behind the cryptic words he had heard?
At that moment, the darkness around him intensified, as if the forest itself was breathing and surrounding him in tight circles. He felt something invisible watching him, and the pressure in the air increased, as if the ground beneath his feet was becoming heavier. Kaido struggled to resist his fear, trying to stay calm. But something deep inside him told him that this moment was a turning point in his life, as if something dark was approaching him, and he couldn't escape it.
Then, suddenly, the girl's features changed in front of him. Her eyes widened, becoming darker, as if they were alive, pulsating with an ominous energy. Her face now shifted between shapes, as if it were scattering into features without definition. She became a vague structure, and the closer she got, the more unsettling the feeling became.
"You... are not the one I was looking for, but you will be useful to me..." the girl said in a distinctive voice, as if she were whispering directly into his mind.
Kaido suddenly stopped breathing, his heart racing. "Who are you?"
The girl smiled an unsettling smile, dark and full of mystery. "I am... something else. I've been here for a long time, but now I'm searching for something else... something that could help me."
At that moment, Kaido felt a sharp pain in his right hand. The touch was strange, as if his hand had been severely injured. He looked at his hand in shock, but he couldn't believe what he saw. His right hand had partially disappeared, as if it had been deformed or torn. At that moment, he felt warm blood trickling from the wound, his hand in the girl's mouth as she devoured it. "What happened?" Kaido muttered.
Then, suddenly, the girl glanced around, as if something was approaching. She quickly began to retreat and disappeared swiftly.
As Kaido's eyes raced toward his missing hand, everything around him seemed to intensify in the darkness.
Then he felt something heavy engulf him, before he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Moments passed, and Kaido regained consciousness. He slowly opened his eyes, everything was blurry at first. He saw a figure standing near him, but he couldn't distinguish the person's face or details, as the darkness was so thick. He felt his body shaking slightly and something strange happening. Then he fainted again.
Kaido woke up in a different place. He slowly opened his eyes, and at first, he felt as if everything he had experienced was just a long dream. He was in his bed at home, and everything around him seemed normal, but there was a strange feeling.
Then he looked at his right hand... it was his hand, but it wasn't his hand as he knew it. It was deformed, as if it wasn't a part of his body. The pain he felt was unbearable, as if something strange had happened to it.
"What happened?" Kaido muttered, while the shock of the truth crept into his mind. This wasn't his hand. How did this happen? And when? All these questions collided in his head, but he knew that what had happened to him wasn't just a dream
