The Dark Secret in the Book

After moments of standing in front of Damien's house, Kaido felt an increasing sense of unease. He decided to watch the house from the window first to make sure no one was inside. The house was completely empty, but he noticed something strange. Inside the house, although it was vacant, there were pictures hanging on the walls, and the more he looked at them, the more his suspicions grew.

Curiosity pushed him to take an unusual step. He began to approach Damien's window, certain the place was empty, then opened the window and entered cautiously. Once inside, the place was dark and slightly dilapidated, as if someone had left in a hurry. Kaido began to scan the room with his wary eyes.

In that moment, he began to notice scattered papers on the floor. There were strange drawings on the papers, as if they were ancient sketches of unexplainable things. He approached one of the papers, and when he examined it closely, he froze. There was a distorted image of what seemed to be the monster that had attacked him and swallowed his hand. The image depicted the head of a deformed creature, its features more brutal than he had imagined, with eyes filled with rage.

Kaido was stunned by what he saw, his heart pounding faster than usual. His mind raced with thoughts. How could this image be here? How did Damien know about this monster?

Suddenly, Kaido's memory returned, and he remembered a book Damien had given him for his birthday two years ago. At that time, Kaido wasn't fond of reading, especially with his mother's health deteriorating quickly. He had left the book on the shelf and ignored it completely.

But now, as he stood in Damien's house, it felt as though everything was starting to connect. He decided he had to go get the book and search it. He quickly left the house and ran back to his own home, where he threw himself onto the desk and began opening the book carefully.

As he opened it, he started flipping through the pages quickly, desperately trying to understand what was happening. The pages were filled with strange drawings and words, talking about legendary creatures and mysterious monsters. And at one point, his heart stopped when he found what he had been searching for.

Under the title "Managal," he found a rough drawing of the monster that had devoured his arm. The creature he had seen in the forest was the same, and he had no doubt about it. He continued reading the details about the monster:

Managal is a creature that hunts at night, characterized by rage and hatred.

It prefers human flesh, especially human hearts and unborn babies.

It has a serpent-like form, with a long, frightening tongue and sharp claws.

It possesses large wings, allowing it to fly quickly.

Its hair is dark black and long, as if it hides in the forests until the time for hunting comes.

When hunting time arrives, it heads to villages in search of its prey.

It has a few weaknesses: the exposed area beneath its chest and its long tongue.

To kill Managal, one must cut off its head and burn its tail.

Kaido read this information over and over, unable to believe what he was seeing. Did Damien know about the monster for a long time? Was this the reason for the change that had happened to him? Questions bounced around in his mind, but at the same time, he felt a sense of relief. At least now, some of the mysteries were starting to make sense.

But he didn't have time to think for long.

He decided to head to the forest that night, to the same place where Managal was. He wanted only to take revenge on what had happened to him, and now he had information about the demon he was facing

Kaido read the information over and over, his mind barely able to comprehend what he was seeing. Did Damian know about the monster for a long time? Was this the reason behind the change in him? Questions raced through his mind, but at the same time, he felt a sense of relief. At least now, some of the puzzles were starting to make sense.

But he didn't have time to think for long.

He made a decisive choice. Tonight, he would head to the forest, to the same place where he had been attacked by the Managal, not to search for answers, but to seek revenge. Now, armed with the information he needed about the demon he was facing, nothing could stop him.
