Lucian couldn't help but gasp. Out of everything he had gained, the most important was the new Skill, Blood shadow.
Without hesitation, Lucian walked toward the body of the dead Lizardmen King. Stretching out his hands, he stabbed his palm with the blade of his spear and instantly, blood dripped into the mouth of the dead Lizardmen King.
He the activated Blood Shadow.
Suddenly he felt a world rip through his mouth uncontrollably.
"Awaken!"
Instantly, he felt something shaking from his bag. Frowning slightly, he opened his bag and it turned out to be the Soul of the Lizardmen King.
It immediately flew into the body of the Lizardmen King.
Suddenly, a rumble rang out from the depth of Lucian's soul as he felt his mana depleting at a speed that he couldn't fathom.
90%…79%…50%…20%…01%!
Lucian felt as though his head was about to split apart as the entire mana in his body was sucked out like a straw.
"Gasp!"
He immediately fell to the ground as he felt a weakness at the depth of his soul.
"Fucker almost drained me dry!"
Lucian cursed as he struggled to breath.

In that instant, something astonishing happened.
The emancipated corpse of the Lizardmen king suddenly began to regain color. However its scale started to turn crimson as an incredibly wave of crimson energy erupted from it like a blazing fire.
In just a few seconds, the massive hole in its chest started to heal up rapidly. The moment it was fully healed, the Lizardmen King's finger twitched.
Then its arms twitched after which, its body moved.
Suddenly, its eyes snapped open.
"BOOM!"
An incredibly amount of scarlet aura exuded from its body as two crimson flames blazed from its eyes.
In that instant, the Lizardmen King stood up, radiating a bloodthirsty tainted red.
It suddenly turned towards Lucian and its eyes flickered with something.
It suddenly knelt to the ground and bowed.
Lucian's eyes turned to slit as he grinned like a mad man.
With thunderous voice, it spoke. "Master… Gay."
Seeing the Lizardmen King's expression of loyalty, Lucian grinned happily. When he heard the words master, he immediately laughed out loud in joy.
With a loyal subordinate like this, clearing the other floors would be a lot more easier. Moreover he wasn't really using his mana hence he could use it for such a skill like this.
Just when he was thinking about this, his smile froze as he heard its last words.
'Gay!'
'Gay!!'
'Gay!!!'
"Pfft!"
He spat out a mouthful of blood and turned angrily at the Blood shadow.
He leapt up at the five meters tall Blood Shadow and immediately started to beat it up with his fists!
"Your sister is gay! your parents are gay! Your entire family is gay! Infact you will be named gay!"
…
After a few minutes of severe teaching, Lucian huffed heavily as he sat to the ground, tired.
His mana was recovering but it was slow. He needed to get a meditation technique or items that could increase one's mana recovery speed. Most likely he could purchase some in the black market or the Federations Market.
"Recall."
The moment his voice dropped, Gay's body compressed, transforming into specks of light as it merged directly into Lucian's forearm.
On his forearm, a crimson tattoo of a terrifying monster with crimson glowing pupils could be seen. The eyes seem to move in its own but it might just be an illusion or a trick of the light.
The Blood shadow skill was definitely terrifying. Moreover, he could still store at least 19 more Blood shadows in his arsenal.
But would he dare do it? Baltzer had almost sucked all his mana away. Doing the same for other monsters would most likely kill him. So unless he increases his mana storage, it seems the Crazy Baltzer would be his only Blood Shadow for now.
In addition, there was now 5 reroll chance for him Lucian was naturally very happy. It meant all of his struggles were not for nothing.
Checking his arsenal, he wondered what else he should reroll. "What about rolling the spear?"
Immediately he thought about it, he acted on it. "System, Reroll my spear."
"Error! Items cannot be rerolled twice."
"Bummer." Lucian blew a raspberry before eventually shaking his head.
Suddenly he thought about it for a moment and decided to hold on to it. He wasn't in the best state of mind to think properly right now.
…
Seeing as time was about to run out, he entered the portal, thinking about going back to Earth.
As the portal's light enveloped him, his thoughts turned to his ex-bestfriend and his ex-girlfriend. His gaze visibly hardened.
Killing intent wrupted from him. He was like a wild untamed beast that had been living in the jungle all its life.
The constant 8-hour-long battle made his aura overwhelming.
He quickly calmed himself. 'There would be more than enough opportunities to kill them.'
The portal closed behind him, marking the end of his first trial in the Galactic Tower.

Eight Hours Ago
Within National Evolution/Portal Research Center (NERF), the town's most influential figures gathered in anticipating silence. At the center of a room, Mayor Grant held a stone tablet, its surface pulsing faintly with runic energy. His sharp eyes flickered with curiosity as he studied the inscriptions appearing on the surface.
Beside him, Principal Malcom stood with his hands clasped behind his back, his posture rigid with expectation. His gaze never wavered from the relic.
"This round of awakening should have started by now," Malcom murmured. His voice, steady but contains a bit of nervousness.
As if responding to his words, the stone tablet trembled slightly. Names began flickering across its surface in rapid succession, each one appearing as though carved into existence before vanishing just as quickly.
Then, suddenly—
The flickering stopped.
The names settled, solidifying into golden script.
