Chapter 204: The Wealth of a New Nation

(Chris's POV)

I stood on the balcony of the Blackwood Administrative Complex in Owerri, Imo State, staring down at the streets below. Biafra was alive.

The celebrations had not stopped since my declaration. A nation that had been denied its freedom for decades was now reborn. But freedom alone wasn't enough. They needed power. They needed wealth.

And I was about to give it to them.

Ethan stood beside me, arms crossed, watching the massive crowds waving the Biafran flag.

"So, what's next?" he asked.

I turned to him, my decision already made. "I'm giving Biafra one trillion dollars."

Ethan's eyebrows shot up. "One trillion?" He let out a low whistle. "That's enough to turn them into a global powerhouse overnight."

Exactly.

I walked back inside, where the Biafran leadership was seated around the long mahogany table in my conference room. Their eyes were still filled with disbelief, as if they were still struggling to process everything.

I took my seat at the head of the table, steepling my fingers.

"Independence is only the beginning. A nation without wealth is a nation waiting to be conquered. I won't let that happen."

I placed a thick leather-bound dossier on the table. Inside were the details of the financial package I was about to unleash.

"One trillion dollars will be transferred into Biafra's new government accounts. Effective immediately."

Gasps filled the room. Some of the older men nearly fell back in their chairs.

Chief Okafor, still recovering from the shock, spoke first. "This… this is unprecedented. No newly formed nation has ever started with this much capital."

I leaned forward, my voice calm but firm. "That's because no newly formed nation has ever had me backing it."

The room was dead silent. They understood what this meant.

Biafra would not just be free. It would be rich. Powerful. Untouchable.

Hours Later – The Announcement

The news spread like wildfire.

"BREAKING NEWS: PRESIDENT CHRIS DECLARES ONE TRILLION DOLLAR ECONOMIC PACKAGE FOR THE NEWLY INDEPENDENT BIAFRA."

Across the globe, markets reacted instantly. The Nigerian economy plummeted overnight. The naira was in freefall. Investors scrambled, realizing that Biafra now held the keys to West Africa's economic future.

In Washington, the U.S. Senate was in chaos. "No nation has ever done this before!" one senator shouted on live television.

Meanwhile, in the streets of Biafra, celebrations turned into something more.

They realized this wasn't just about survival.

This was about domination.

Skylar's voice came through my private line. "Chris, the Nigerian government is collapsing. They can't survive this kind of economic blow. The northern leaders are calling for war."

I smirked.

"Then let them come."

Ethan chuckled, shaking his head. "You really just built an empire in less than a week."

I looked back at the screen, where millions of Biafrans were chanting my name.

"No,"I corrected him. "I didn't build an empire. I created a dynasty."
