Chapter 103: Bloody Baron? One Move to Take Him Down!

Peeves was so terrified by the suddenly-appeared Bloody Baron that he was completely out of his wits!

All he could think about was to bow and show submission, trying to get rid of this deadly figure as soon as possible.

He never expected that Dudley, the master of fanning the flames, would pop up from behind.

Come on! Peeves had roamed the Hogwarts Castle without an equal. How could he be willing to submit to the Bloody Baron?

But no matter how unwilling he was, the fact was that he really couldn't beat him!

Although the Bloody Baron was often out of his mind and silent most of the time, he was really ruthless when he was sober!

He could turn invisible and wield a ghostly sword. He was incredibly powerful.

You wizards think you've gained the recognition of Hogwarts and can just look down on the Bloody Baron?

Ghosts don't pose much of a threat to wizards, but wizards can't control a fully intangible ghost either!

If you anger the Bloody Baron and just leave, I'll be in big trouble!

Peeves was extremely panicked. Seeing that the Bloody Baron was still staring straight ahead and slowly floating without any sign of being alarmed, he quickly flew down towards Dudley. While flying, he whispered a warning:

"For the sake of Hogwarts, let me give you a heads-up. Get out of here! If the Bloody Baron sobers up and passes through you, he'll surely turn you into an ice block!"

"Peeves! I thought you had some guts. Turns out I misjudged you!"

Dudley didn't take Peeves' warning seriously. Instead, he kept fanning the flames and provoking Peeves.

Peeves was both angry and annoyed. With the Bloody Baron nearby, he didn't dare to lose his temper. Immediately, he was about to fly away.

Unexpectedly, Dudley added another sentence: "Watch this! Today, I'll open your eyes and let you know that the Bloody Baron is just a paper tiger! And he's also a sore loser and a crazy murderer!"

"What?" Peeves was shocked. He quickly retreated a certain distance. He landed on a suit of castle guard armor, quietly watching how things would develop.

On the other side, the Bloody Baron was about to drift away in a daze.

But a certain word from Dudley deeply stimulated him, causing him to suddenly wake up. He abruptly turned around in the air and glared at Dudley in the corridor below.

"Wizard, what did you just say about me?"

The Bloody Baron spoke for the first time in a long while. Moreover, his silvery, semi-transparent ghostly body seemed to be changing towards a blood-red color. His momentum soared, as if he was going berserk.

The source of this blood-red color was clearly the tiny spots of blood on the Bloody Baron's robe.

Dudley showed no fear. He waved his hand slightly, and Harry stepped back far away without saying a word.

Then, Dudley sneered contemptuously and stared directly at the Bloody Baron without showing any weakness: "Am I wrong? Aren't you the murderer of Lady Helena?"

Hearing the long-forgotten familiar name, the Bloody Baron caught his breath. Sorrow welled up in his heart: "I... I... I'm sorry, Helena... Wuwuwu..."

"What are you crying for? Now you remember to wail? It's too late!"

Dudley mocked mercilessly, "If you've got the guts, come and fight me!"

The Bloody Baron was completely enraged by the provocation.

A blood-red halo surrounded him. One of his ghostly hands reached into his ancient-style ghostly robe and suddenly pulled out a blood-red dagger. With a shrill ghostly howl, he swooped down towards Dudley at top speed.

The momentum was astonishing!

Peeves, who was watching from behind, began to mourn for Dudley. Even he had never faced the Bloody Baron in such a state.

However, Dudley, who was facing the charging Bloody Baron, wore a smile of triumph on his face.

Without dodging or invoking an incantation with his magic power, Dudley simply reached out and drew a large circle in front of him, opening a spatial passage to his Personal Space.

The Bloody Baron, already driven mad by the provocation and charging at full speed, had no time to adjust his attack direction and plunged headfirst into the dark spatial passage.

However, Dudley had no intention of letting the Bloody Baron enter completely.

With a thought, Dudley made the Bloody Baron get stuck at the entrance of the spatial passage.

His upper body was inside, but his lower body was still outside.

No matter how much he struggled, he couldn't move the spatial passage an inch.

Moreover, because the Bloody Baron's upper body was stuck in the Personal Space, if Dudley didn't allow the sound waves inside to pass through, no one outside could hear what the Bloody Baron was saying.

Similarly, unless Dudley permitted it, the sound waves from the outside couldn't penetrate the Personal Space, and the Bloody Baron couldn't hear the outside world either.

"What... is this over?!"

Peeves, watching from behind, stared at this scene in disbelief. In his eyes, the Bloody Baron's upper body had been swallowed by a large black circle, and only the lower part of his body was flailing about in the air, looking extremely pathetic.

"It's over!" Dudley said matter-of-factly, as if it was the most natural thing. "Do you really want to see me fight this useless guy for three hundred rounds?"

"No way! I definitely didn't mean that! Teaching Assistant, sir! You're so awesome, invincible in the world! Even Principal Dumbledore can't hold a candle to you!"

Peeves flew up to Dudley obsequiously and flattered him.

After seeing Dudley easily defeat the enraged Bloody Baron and knowing about the privileges Dudley had at Hogwarts, Peeves had completely become Dudley's fanboy, worshiping him to the core.

"Cut the crap! Settle your scores with him!"

Dudley stepped aside and pointed at the lower part of the Bloody Baron's body. "Don't worry, he can't hear you now!"

Peeves was a bit hesitant at first, but upon hearing Dudley's words, he immediately became extremely excited. His body trembled, and he let out an uncontrollable cackle. He flew closer to the lower part of the Bloody Baron's body and shouted at the top of his lungs:

"Damn it! You finally got what's coming to you! Hahaha! Take this! My Ultimate Invincible Continuous Cyclone Butt-Kicking Kick!"

Peeves shifted his intangible state and kicked the Bloody Baron's red butt so hard that it was in a terrible state.

Dudley stared into the distance, lost in thought. After giving Peeves a full ten minutes to take his revenge, he finally said, "That's enough, Peeves!"

Hearing this, Peeves immediately stopped and fluttered over to Dudley. "Teaching Assistant Dursley, sir, what are your orders?"

Dudley looked around. Seeing no outsiders nearby, he cast the Muffliato charm to prevent eavesdropping before speaking to Peeves.

"Starting tonight, I need you to secretly patrol the professors' offices, the prefects' lounges, the student council president's lounge, and all the empty rooms in the castle to see if there's a big python with a strange-looking face and a lump behind its head.

If you find it, don't take any rash actions. Fly to me as fast as you can and tell me! This matter should be done privately and secretly. Don't let other people or ghosts know. Understand?"
