Chapter 13: The Mysterious Observer

With a heart full of wariness and anticipation, Kyle followed the mysterious person deeper into the cave. The cave was filled with a damp and rotten smell. The strange lights flickering on the walls cast mottled shadows in the narrow passage, as if countless eyes were watching them. Kyle's heart was pounding, and he walked carefully, his eyes fixed on the mysterious figure in front of him. "Who on earth is he? Can he really help me leave this place? Why does he seem to know something about me?" Countless questions swirled in Kyle's mind, making him even more nervous.

The mysterious person walked in silence, his steps steady and quiet. The strange clothes on his body swayed gently with his movements, and the sound of the fabric rubbing against each other was particularly clear in the silent cave. Kyle couldn't help but quicken his pace, shortening the distance between him and the mysterious person, and asked, "You still haven't told me who you are. Why are you on this planet?" The mysterious person just tilted his head slightly but didn't stop walking or answer Kyle's question. This made Kyle even more puzzled and uneasy, and his vigilance grew stronger.

After walking for a while longer, a spacious cave hall appeared ahead. In the center of the hall, there was a huge stone platform. On the platform were placed some strange instruments and faintly glowing crystals. The surrounding walls were covered with complex symbols and patterns. Kyle recognized at a glance that some of these symbols were extremely similar to the mysterious symbols that appeared in his mind when he was controlling the stardust power. "These symbols... Could they be related to the stardust power?" Kyle was shocked. His eyes sparkled with excitement, and he couldn't help but move closer to the wall.

The mysterious person walked to the stone platform and gently stroked those instruments. His movements carried an indescribable sense of familiarity. Seeing this, Kyle summoned up his courage and asked, "Do you know the meaning of these symbols? Similar symbols appear in my mind when I'm controlling the stardust power." The mysterious person finally stopped his actions, slowly turned around, and stared at Kyle with his eyes hidden behind the mask. He remained silent for a long time. Just when Kyle thought he wouldn't answer again, the mysterious person finally spoke, "I know some, but it's not the time to tell you yet. You just need to know that the stardust power you possess is far beyond your imagination."

A sense of disappointment welled up in Kyle's heart, but more importantly, he felt urgent. "Why can't you tell me now? I'm being hunted by the Interstellar Federation. It's only because of the stardust power that I've managed to escape again and again. I have to understand it to survive and uncover those secrets. Can't you tell me a little more?" There was a hint of pleading in Kyle's tone, and his eyes were full of eagerness.

The mysterious person shook his head slightly, walked to a corner of the hall, picked up an instrument similar to a telescope, and looked at the cave ceiling through it. Kyle curiously leaned over and looked in the direction of the instrument, but he only saw the uneven rocks on the cave ceiling. "What are you looking at? What does this have to do with the stardust power?" Kyle couldn't help asking. The mysterious person ignored his question, put down the instrument, and started fiddling with the crystals on the stone platform again.

Suddenly, a deep rumble came from the cave, and the ground began to tremble slightly. Kyle looked around in panic and shouted, "What's going on? What's happening?" The mysterious person, however, remained calm, as if he had expected all this. While continuing to adjust the positions of the crystals, he said, "Don't worry. It's just a natural phenomenon on this planet. But we need to speed up." Kyle was full of doubts. He didn't understand the connection between this so - called natural phenomenon and their current actions, but at this moment, he could only choose to trust the mysterious person.

The rumble grew louder, and dust fell from the cave ceiling. The atmosphere became tense. The mysterious person suddenly stopped his actions, turned to look at Kyle, and said, "I can help you repair your spaceship, but you have to promise me that after leaving here, don't use the stardust power easily unless it's a last - resort situation." Kyle was overjoyed and quickly nodded, "I promise! As long as I can leave here, I'll promise you anything." However, he was thinking to himself, "Not use the stardust power? If I encounter danger again, how can I survive without it? But I'll promise him for now and figure out a way after leaving."

The mysterious person seemed to see through Kyle's thoughts. He stared straight at him and said coldly, "You'd better keep your promise. Otherwise, you'll bring disaster to the entire universe." Kyle was startled by the mysterious person's gaze and words. He was flustered, but he still pretended to be calm and nodded.

Just then, a bright light suddenly appeared on the cave wall, as if a door was slowly opening. The mysterious person walked towards the light, motioning for Kyle to follow. Kyle hesitated for a moment but still followed. Passing through the bright light, they came to a huge underground space. There was a peculiarly - shaped spaceship parked here. The surface of the spaceship emitted a faint blue light. Its smooth lines were full of a sense of technology, completely different from the spaceships Kyle had seen before.

"This is the key to helping you repair your spaceship." The mysterious person pointed at the spaceship. Kyle looked at the spaceship in front of him in surprise, full of doubts. "What does this spaceship have to do with mine? How can it help me repair my spaceship?" The mysterious person didn't answer directly. Instead, he walked to the spaceship and opened its hatch. The moment the hatch opened, a strange energy fluctuation rushed towards them. Kyle felt that the stardust power in his body seemed to be attracted by something and stirred slightly. "This energy fluctuation... It's related to the stardust power!" Kyle was shocked and became even more curious about the origin of this spaceship.

The mysterious person walked into the spaceship and motioned for Kyle to come in. Kyle carefully stepped into the interior of the spaceship and found that the layout and decoration inside were equally mysterious. There were various glowing dashboards and control sticks arranged in an orderly manner, but he didn't recognize any of the symbols and markings on them. The mysterious person walked to a console and started operating it. As he did, a soft light filled the interior of the spaceship, and some mechanical arms extended from the walls of the spaceship and flew towards Kyle's spaceship.

Kyle stood aside, nervously watching all this. He didn't know what these mechanical arms were going to do to his spaceship and was filled with worry. "What are you doing? You won't break my spaceship, will you?" Kyle couldn't help asking. The mysterious person didn't answer his question and just focused on operating the console. After a while, the mechanical arms brought back some parts of Kyle's spaceship into this strange spaceship and started repairing and modifying them.

During the waiting process, Kyle tried to ask the mysterious person about the stardust power again. "Can't you tell me a little more about the stardust power? I really need to know." There was a hint of anxiety in Kyle's tone. The mysterious person stopped his actions, turned around, and looked at Kyle, saying, "The stardust power is one of the most mysterious powers in the universe. Its origin and secrets are hidden deep in the universe. What you know now is just the tip of the iceberg. Moreover, many forces are coveting this power. You must be extremely careful." Kyle wanted to ask more, but the mysterious person turned around and continued operating the console.

Just then, an alarm suddenly sounded in the spaceship. The mysterious person's face changed slightly, and he quickly checked the information on the console. Kyle asked nervously, "What's wrong again? What's happening?" The mysterious person didn't answer and just sped up his operation. Suddenly, the mysterious person stopped his actions, looked up at Kyle, and said, "Someone is coming, and they're not friendly. We have to leave here quickly." Kyle was shocked. The image of the Interstellar Federation immediately appeared in his mind. "Could it be the Interstellar Federation chasing after us? How did they find this place?" Kyle's heart rate skyrocketed, and a sense of foreboding welled up in his heart.
