Chapter 15: The Escape Continues

Kyle piloted the spaceship, struggling to move forward in the mysterious energy area. Outside the spaceship, colorful lights intertwined and flickered. The energy, like surging waves, continuously pounded the spaceship, making deafening noises as if it were trying to crush the spaceship completely. The indicator lights on the dashboard flashed wildly, and the alarm blared shrilly without stopping for a moment, as if announcing the approaching danger. Kyle's hands tightly gripped the control stick, his knuckles turning white from the strain. Beads of sweat rolled down his forehead, but his eyes were firmly fixed ahead as he tried to find a glimmer of hope in this chaotic energy area.

"This energy area is too dangerous. We must be careful," the mysterious person said nervously beside him. His eyes were fixed on the readings of various instruments, and his hands were also helping to operate the spaceship's systems, trying to stabilize the spaceship's flight state.

Just as the spaceship was about to enter the passage, a Federal reconnaissance spaceship detected their trail. "Report, sir! The target spaceship has been found. They're flying towards the center of the energy area!" the pilot of the reconnaissance spaceship quickly reported to Rain.

A glimmer of surprise flashed in Rain's eyes. He shouted the order, "All spaceships, get ready! Once they come out of the passage, arrest them immediately!" The Federal troops quickly adjusted their formation and waited in full battle readiness at the exit of the passage.

Kyle's spaceship successfully entered the passage. The scene inside the passage shocked them. All around, there were various mysterious symbols and lights flashing. These symbols were very similar to the ones that had appeared in Kyle's mind when he was exploring the stardust power. Kyle realized that there might be important secrets of the stardust power hidden here, but at the moment, he didn't have time to explore them in depth.

Inside the passage, Kyle found that the spaceship's speed increased involuntarily, as if being pulled by a powerful force. He tried his best to control the spaceship to ensure its stable flight. Soon, the spaceship passed through the passage and appeared in an unfamiliar starry sky.

However, before they could even catch their breath, they found that the Federal troops were already waiting in full force at the exit of the passage. Standing on the flagship, Rain saw Kyle's spaceship appear. A sneer appeared on his face. "You finally came out. This time, you can't escape!" The spaceships of the Federal troops quickly surrounded Kyle's spaceship.

"Prepare for battle!" Kyle said to the mysterious person, his eyes shining with determination. He concentrated and mobilized the stardust power. Under the influence of the stardust power, the weapon systems of the Federal spaceships began to malfunction. The energy cannon muzzles flickered and couldn't fire normally. The power core exploded violently, and the powerful impact overturned the surrounding Federal spaceships. The formation of the Federal Fleet was completely disrupted.

"Let's go!" Kyle shouted. He piloted the spaceship and quickly escaped from the encirclement of the Federal Fleet. Rain watched as Kyle's spaceship disappeared into the distance, gritting his teeth in anger. "Chase after him!" But after the chaos just now, the Federal Fleet needed time to readjust its formation. Kyle's spaceship took the opportunity to widen the distance from them.

During the escape, Kyle continuously used the stardust power to sense the surrounding environment and look for a safe place to hide. He found a huge nebula ahead. The energy fluctuations inside the nebula were complex, making it difficult for the Federal Fleet to track them.

"Let's go into that nebula. Maybe we can get rid of them," Kyle said to the mysterious person. The mysterious person nodded in agreement. So, Kyle piloted the spaceship and plunged into the nebula.

Inside the nebula, the light became dim, and various dusts and gases filled the space. The spaceship's radar and detectors were greatly interfered with. Relying on the perception of the stardust power, Kyle carefully weaved through the nebula. The Federal Fleet chased to the edge of the nebula but didn't dare to enter easily.
