Chapter 25: Crisis Moment

Kyle, Alicia, and the mysterious person were fleeing with all their might in the ruins, while Rain led the Federal soldiers in hot pursuit behind them. The intricate passages and strange lights in the ruins seemed to add a mysterious and tense touch to this thrilling chase. The ancient symbols flickering on the walls loomed in and out of sight amidst the hasty footsteps and the light and shadow of the battle, as if whispering about the impending crisis.

"Hurry up! Don't let them get away!" Rain roared from the rear. The anger on his face was like a blazing fire. His eyes were fixed on Kyle's figure ahead, as if he could burn him with his gaze. Driven by him, the Federal soldiers, like a group of well-trained hounds, chased after their target with all their might.

As he ran, Kyle looked back to observe the situation of the pursuers. His breathing was rapid, and sweat soaked his forehead, but his eyes were as firm as iron. "Everyone, be careful. They're chasing closely," he said to Alicia and the mysterious person through the communicator. There was a hint of tension in his voice, but more of it was an unyielding fighting spirit.

Rain stood at the entrance of the hall, the energy battle knife in his hand glinting coldly. His voice echoed in the empty hall, full of oppressive force.

Kyle quickly turned around, shielding Alicia and the mysterious person behind him. The stardust lightsaber in his hand glowed brightly. "Rain, don't be too cocky. Today is the place where you'll meet your end!" he shouted loudly. Although he knew the severity of the situation in his heart, he would never show weakness to the enemy.

Rain sneered. With a wave of his hand, the Federal soldiers quickly spread out and formed a encirclement,surrounding the three of them. The weapons in the soldiers' hands were aimed at them, ready to launch an attack at any moment. Rain slowly walked forward, each step firm and powerful, as if declaring his victory to Kyle.

"Give up resistance, Kyle. You can't be my match, and you definitely can't escape the Federation's punishment," Rain said, his eyes full of arrogance and confidence.

He could feel that Rain's strength was constantly increasing, and this battle would be extremely difficult.

"Kyle, we'll help you!" Alicia shouted. She raised her energy gun and fired at the surrounding Federal soldiers. The mysterious person also took action quickly. His figure flashed and disappeared.
