"I finally defeated a Goblin"
I felt relieved that the plastic bottle I dropped hadn't yet disappeared into the dungeon, so I picked it up, sat down, and moistened my throat.
To be honest, I'm exhausted after defeating just one goblin.
As I check the spot where I was hit with a wooden stick during my self-reflection session, I notice it's a bit red, but that's all. It probably won't swell or bruise. Thanks to DEF 6.
Looking back, it was chaotic.
While I hesitated, the goblin didn't hesitate at all and came at me swinging that wooden stick. Normally, humans would consciously or unconsciously hold back, considering the other person's pain. But I felt none of that from the goblin.
It was just hostility, malice, and killing intent. Of course, it's not that I'm particularly sensitive to such things. But you know, there's usually one person in every class who gives off that unpleasant vibe. Even such people usually have at least minimal social skills.
Goblins are different.
They probably don't think violence is wrong. I don't want to completely reject violence either. I understand it's necessary for self-defense and maintaining order. Still, I understand it shouldn't be used lightly.
But goblins are innocently evil.
I feel like it's been imprinted in my heart that I can never get along with them.
But it wasn't all bad. Thanks to the goblin attacking without hesitation, I was able to abandon my own hesitation. From now on, I'll probably be able to kill goblins without any hesitation.
I hope I can become accustomed to the feeling, like when preparing braised pork. You stab a block of pork belly with a fork to make it absorb flavor better. It may or may not also prevent shrinkage.
I still can't shake the unpleasant sensation from my hands.
"Oh? It's a person."
"Too bad, it's not a goblin."
"Can't be helped, let's move on."
I was looking down and noticed people approaching too late.
When I looked up, there were three women.
"...Oh, hello..."
I give a slight bow.
"Taking a break? It's fine, it's fine, stay seated."
All three were foreigners. In order of height - the tallest was a brown-haired woman so beautiful she could be a model, with slightly yellowish skin that made her look like a Hispanic white woman.
The middle one who spoke to me was taller than me but not as tall as the model-like woman. She had large green eyes and long golden hair, with the best figure among the three. Super beautiful!
The third one was clearly shorter than me, with a slender build and seemingly permanently narrowed eyes. She was looking at me suspiciously.
"Hey, have you already hunted all the goblins around here?"
"No... I just defeated one goblin earlier."
"I see, thanks. We'll look around."
I managed to answer the model-like woman's question despite my nervousness.
"See you!"
The beautiful woman waved at me, so I waved back. The narrow-eyed woman also waved her hand gently. That person kept her suspicious look until the end.
