I am the one who will 'Remain'

Chapter 2

"I see the Earth is now like in the stories—big, tall green trees that put the old skyscrapers to shame, air so clean and strong that it feels like a breath, is enough for a year's worth compared to old Earth. The vegetation can now eat you too, not only the other way around."

"Computer, when was the last time you went out?"

"I think it was 50,000 years ago. Why do you ask, master?"

"What language do we need to speak? And I want to see at what level you are now."

"The humans made a whole new intergalactic language that is spoken over all of the Laniakea Supercluster now. With it, you can transfer not only sound, but images and emotions as well, which I think is the best invention of the humans ever. And I think a spar would be the best way for you to see my level, master."

"Let's move, and destroy the cave. I will tell you the plan first, then we will spar. And I agree, the intergalactic language is an awesome invention. What is it called?"

"It's called the Uniakea language."

All of a sudden, a great rumble from underneath the Earth is heard, and a great depression appears in front of them, like a meteor strike.

"Everything is gone, master."

"Okay, let's go. So, the plan is to conquer this dimension and find the core. My disciples are doing the same thing in the other dimensions, and when we have them all, we will go to break the wall to the 11th dimension. But first, we need people, and that means we will go with your plan. Because if I use my powers to search for it, I will destroy the dimension."

"Computer, do you have the same old powers only? Or more?"

"Yes, master, since you created me, I only have the same powers:

The power to make my words come to life

The power to design robots

The power of controlling nature

But the most powerful superpower I have are the quantum computers that master put in my head."

"Okay, then I will make a separate dimension so we can fight without worry."

The space around them starts to warp and bend.

"We can begin."

Immediately, the computer starts to see the designs of her robots inside her head, and after deciding which one she'll pick, she says:

"Become real."

Then the robot from her head starts to appear in front of her. It looked simple, lean like a woman, with a knife in each hand and wires like snakes in place of hair, with eyes that are completely black, and a mask that covers over half her face, just over her nose. A white suit with black stripes over the hands and legs. The moment she appeared, it ran toward the enemy in front of her, with a speed that seemed more like teleporting.

Aiming for the eye, so fast that the knife was just a blur. In this time, the computer says:

"Real armament."

On her body started to appear a robot-like suit, but it was like flowing from one place to another, like water on her body, and two guns appeared in her hands, with all kinds of weapons at her back. Each bigger than the next and more powerful.

When the knife was only one millimeter from the eye, it stopped. A foot had hit her, sending her reeling back with double the speed, but exactly then the weapons fired—lasers, missiles, and energy bullets that if they hit a planet, it would destroy it. The timing was perfect, like she knew that is what would happen.

Just then, he disappeared from the spot. Actual teleportation, thought the computer, appearing behind her with a fist more destructive than her entire arsenal of weapons and robots, nearing her face. She moved her head just slightly to the right, the punch missing, blowing her head, but still grazing the shoulder and blowing her entire arm apart. She flew with the speed of a bullet, stopping only after she knocked down a lot of trees. After she stopped, she got up and brushed the dirt off of her, no injury. The nature was already healing her. While running back to fight, she thought, I can't hit him if I don't take the limits off.

When she got back, her robot was fighting him, already missing an arm and struggling to even move. She is the most powerful robot I have. She can fight with a galaxy-conqueror fighter level and not lose, but here she can't even last one minute.

"Limits off."

Wind started to blow around her, the Earth cracking. But her aura turned green, and flowers started to grow next to her. Roots started to attack him, black and strong like steel, while weapons fired energy bullets and lasers that could melt suns. Then her body took on a black-green metallic color, and she started to speak:

"Slow down."

"Blindness."

"Poison."

"Confusion."

"Space freeze."

"Gravity 1000x."

She closed her eyes and looked in her head for her most powerful weapon, then said:

"Dimensions Destroyer, I need you."

Then a sword appeared in her hand, half white, half black, the colors changing between them like flowing water, sometimes slow, sometimes fast. Then she ran towards him. She looked and saw him fighting the robot and the black roots while dodging the firing weapons, and doing all that with the weaknesses and curses from her powers.

But I will hit you.

Running towards him, with every step, she would collect more and more black-green aura on her body, the attacks intensifying more and more. When she reached him, everything stopped—the robot, the black roots, the firing—breaking apart, making place to strike with the sword. She had the sword high over her head, and when she brought it down, time, space—everything moved at a snail's pace. When the sword was just about to hit him, he raised his hand over his head in an X position, and over his hands, a transparent film appeared. When the sword made contact with his hands, it was like a supernova exploding, but all the power was directed at that point of contact. But even so, with 99.9% of the power directed to a point, the rest of the 0.01% blew everything apart near them—the robot, the roots, the weapons—everything was thrown miles from the point of impact.

When the dust settled, the sword was still pressed against his arms, but no wound was there, or even a little bit of blood—nothing. A weapon that can destroy an entire universe didn't even manage to scratch him. But it's okay, because...

"I managed to hit you. Even if I consumed all my energy and power, I still managed to hit you."

Looking at his arms and then at her:

"Where?"

"Look behind you."

And there, behind him, a golden root in the form of a fist touched him in the back.

"I won."
