Chapter 75: Creeping Shadows

Wrath let Constantine pet him. It was one of the nymph's rituals. The Dark Nymph gave, but he also took.

Most days, Wrath didn't need him. He could keep him locked up and forget about him. But now, as wounded as he was, he needed the nymph's mana.

"Felix," it was a stupid name, Wrath had always thought—a name which didn't suit him. And yet, he still let Constantine call him that.

Wrath would never have gotten patched-up. Felix was someone Constantine adored. He had tormented him so much over the years that the man had turned into an Archdemon.

"Yes, Tine?" Wrath enjoyed the slight tremble in the nymph's fingers. He even smiled when the wretch took hold of his red hair and tugged.

"My name is Constantine," the dark creature snapped. "You will address me by it!"

"Hm, no thanks," they were linked, his Tine and he. Neither of them could know peace until the other died.
