A man with long grey hair, a thin frame, bronze skin, long black curly hair, silver eyes, and a long nose sits in a chair with two cuffs. Two investigators watch the man from his cell.
Investigator One: "What's up with this guy? They call him Zalmu."
Investigator Two: "They brought him in for crimes of conspiracy but apparently he's some kind of wizard."
Investigator One: "And he just turned himself in." Zalmu taps the glass across them.
Investigator Two: "Looks like he wants to tell us something." The detectives step in the room with him.
Zalmu laughs, "Hahaha hah!! I have unleashed a great storm on this city. There are three highly troubled people in Gonzala, all with their own personal problems and I generated a deal with several dark deities."
Investigator Two: "Why on earth would you do something like that?"
Zalmu cheeses, "BeCAUSE I got in trouble with the spirits for tapping too much into dark magic in dishonorable ways. I made this deal with them to keep my life. Now the sins of others will be punished due to my bidding."
Investigator One: "That doesn't make any sense. We might as well release this clown."
Investigator Two: "Well, the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribe legislations have some provisions against magic. Especially the Water Tribes but the Fire Nation has realized most of this crap is nonsense. We can't keep him without just cause but I think he has mental issues so let's refer him to an asylum."
Investigator One: "You've got it, I'll file the paperwork right away."
Investigator Two (to Zalmu): "I'm about to head out but I just wanted to ask, do you know who these people are or where they can be found?"
Zalmu: "No, only the spirits know."
Investigator One: "See that's what I'm talking about, straight nonsense." A few days later a woman named Muna gets dressed for work. She has a mix of dark and light brown hair, light brown skin, light brown eyes, a small nose, small ears, and a petite body.
She looks at a shattered picture of her husband, she dropped it before after an intense argument. She remembers how it all happened, everything started when that cursed sewage corporation Clean Streets fired him. He had become consumed with that place, and they dumped him like yesterday's garbage.
When the relationship fell, everything else went by the wayside. Muna looks up and curses, "I can't stand that corporation, PLEASE give me the strength to extract my revenge on them!" Muna storms out of her condo and hurries down the steps.
She briskly walks past several people on a cold night but slips off water and falls into a sewer hole. A second later she plunges into sewer water. Moonlight shines down upon her all the way to the sewer opening.
When she enters that water a spirit joins her. Muna's skin is merged with an alligator-shark spirit. As she drowns, she suddenly notices that she is able to breathe everything in. She swims at a rapid and natural pace. Her skin is now cyan, and her nails have turned to claws.
Her eyes are now yellow. Muna hops out of the water and realizes she can breathe just as easily on solid ground. "What happened to me, I've turned into a freak!" Now that she's lost her appearance, all she can think about is extracting revenge on the people she despises.
Muna creeps in the night, careful to not give away her location. She notices a flyer titled "Clean Streets Expansion Private Party". That's all she needed to see.
Late Entry
Men and women pop champagne bottles, fireworks are launched, sushi is made, cheesecake is eaten, and other fancy snacks are consumed. Several people gather around at the nearby beach.
The CEO makes an announcement with his wife wrapped around his arm, "Well, I just wanted to say, we earned this! We all worked very hard for what we have now so enjoy it everyone."
A loud voice shouts, "ENJOY IT?! Enjoy exploitation? Enjoy stealing things from more qualified workers. My husband gave your company EVERYTHING and you left him to rot."
The man cowers, "Who said that?" Two security guards in light grey garments grab their metal batons and keep watch. Muna rises from the beach water and extends both of her hands. Although born of Fire Nation origin, she now is a new being with waterbending powers.
Both men are blasted back by hot beams of water. Muna even has a tail now. The crowd roars and retreats. Fleeing man: "It's a demon!! Run!!!" Muna devilishly laughs.
The newly made waterbender prances around in her cyan skin before smacking two company executives down with a water tentacle. She notices the CEO run alongside his wife and specifically chases after them.
The man ditches his wife when he realizes they can't outrun the coming monster. He hides behind some crates. Muna doesn't nowhere to look, the official gains confidence and hides with a snarky smile. Muna sniff and picks up his scent.
The CEO raises an eyebrow, What? She can do that too? A water tentacle wraps around his right leg and snatches him from cover. The tentacle slams him against the ground and the monster pounces on him. She holds her right hand as she prepares to swipe him, "I'm going to enjoy this you old pest!"
CEO: "Do it freak, what else could you be good for but death and destruction?!"
Three Fire Nation troopers step in to investigate. One has a sword and the other two are benders. Firebender: "What's going on over there?" Muna turns, pulls her right hand down, then rolls forward and swats them back with a water whip.
Muna taunts, "Hush boys." CEO tries to get up and run but a water tentacle wraps around his leg and trips him. Muna pulls her right hand back as she prepares to claw him to death.
A voice interrupts her, "Stand down!" Kanna Foloki stands in black and red proxy armor which is distinct from her traditional 31st uniform. The cyan woman sprays a heaping beam of water at Kanna.
Miss Foloki skips forward in the air and launches her body further right with a spark of dark orange flames. Kanna lands a few feet right of Muna who pulls her arms back and propels herself with a swirl of water.
Muna tackles Kanna. The proxy tries to free herself but realizes Muna has enhanced strength. Muna glides with Kanna on top of a sewer line which knocks them both down. Kanna kicks herself free and glides into filthy sewer water.
Kanna cries, "Ahhhh, so gross."
Muna grins, "Just my territory." Muna leaps into the water and soars at Kanna as gracefully as a ballerina on a stage. Muna expends her arms to slash Kanna, the young woman meets Muna head on and braces herself for impact.
Muna tries to swipe but Kanna pins her arms and they both sink. Foloki is forced to hold her breath while Muna smiles as she breathes under water. Kanna double kicks Muna off of her and backward swims up toward the shore.
Muna swirls her feet and dashes at Kanna at 20 miles an hour. Kanna times her perfectly and swishes a few feet right. Muna misses her sweeping strike and buzzes at her again. Kanna points and bolts two lines of stream at the waterbending anomaly.
Muna swims low then strokes upward until she is able to slash low at Kanna's feet. Kanna raises and spreads her legs to avoid each hit then spins and pushes a long ray of hot energy at Muna. The troubled woman swims away and again ahead of Kanna. Muna accelerates toward Kanna, but the proxy jumps out of the water on the sewer walkway.
Kanna spits grotesquely, "Ugh! Unbelievable..." Muna dives a few feet away from Kanna on the sewer sidewalk. Kanna: "You were foolish to meet me here where you don't have an advantage."
Muna taunts, "I can beat you with or without any kind of advantage."
Kanna: "Prove it." Muna punches four waterballs at Kanna yet Foloki runs left against the wall before launching herself at Muna and sidekicking her across the cheek. Muna falls back into the water. Kanna sighs in relief after she lands. Muna pushes her right hand forward and generates a five-feet-wide and twelve-feet-long water hand.
Kanna tries to run but it grabs her and tosses her into the sewer water. The hand dissolves because it is too difficult for Muna to maintain when going against all of the other water pressure in the sewer. Muna glides at her again. Kanna rubs her eyes and opens them.
The proxy decides to remain calm, knowing her life is on the line. One mishap or wrong move could spell curtains for her. Muna slashes down diagonally with her left arm. Kanna sways left and latches onto Muna's lower right arm with her right hand before swaying and grabbing Muna's shoulder with her left hand.
Muna notices and sways frantically. Kanna doesn't know much about grappling, but she trained a bit on it with Kett. It isn't always about strength; it's more about technique and timing. Kanna latches her legs around Muna's, wraps her left arm beneath the woman's chin, and locks her right fist upward (pinning Muna's right arm upward). Kanna wraps her left hand around her right fist, causing more pressure.
Foloki tightens her grip and Muna passes out. Foloki uses the water to help her sway Muna onto the sewer walkway before hand and feet cuffing her. Kanna: "I'm Kanna Foloki, FNID proxy and you are under arrest."
The Huntress
A woman named Henda sits in her home. Her wall is full of the heads of different wild creatures she personally slaughtered in combat. While Henda didn't gain any obvious powers, she's noticed her strength and speed have gone up in the last couple days.
Henda also feels she has gained extra foresight for her hunts. Henda steps into her weapons room where she looks at wrist blades, camouflage clothes, her silver spear, her gold sword, climber tools, and sharp silver metal teeth guards.
Henda exhales and breathes in the cinnamon candles she has lit in her kitchen. The woman sits in her living room and pulls out a marble game that she calls Lizzot. The game comes with a marble, a spinner, and several locations where the marble could land.
Henda rolls her marble, it spins and lands on a name called Gabin. Gabin is a Roken samurai which means he is a member of the Roken Order. The Roken are a group of samurai who's daimyo choose to become involved in a life of crime after a family betray and being forced out of the royal line.
Most of these hunters can be found in the Earth Kingdom village Rokena however, some agents have migrated elsewhere. This should make for a worthy opponent and fight. Unlike his counterparts, Gabin does not have any armor. Instead, he travels in robes and with a straw hat.
Henda interrupts, "Roken warrior, I have come to challenge you!"
The samurai draws his sword and enters his battle stance. Henda: "Excellent." The huntress hurls three knives at the man who deflects them with ease. Henda: "Ah yes, then we shall duel!"
Miss Henda switches to her spear and gallops at the man with a downward slash. The samurai pulls his blade up and left, blocking the strike. The warrior swings low and horizontally, Henda spins back and lunges at his chest.
The duelist taps the spear away from him and skips right to gain a different attack angle. Henda rotates her blade and attempts to butt the samurai with the end of her spear, but he dips under the move then springs upward and strikes at her head.
Henda rolls forward and readjusts her grip. The robed samurai lashes at her legs but the huntress swivels her spear downward and butts the attack. Henda bobs forward and lunges at the man's abdomen.
The swordsman swings low and parries the hit. The hunter presses forward and Gabin swings up diagonally. Henda waits and does not walk into the counter then presses him. Gabin lunges down at her, but Henda blocks the strike sideways with her spear before pivots behind and impaling the samurai with a hidden wrist blade.
Gabin collapses, "You dishonorable beast."
Henda: "There is no honor among thieves, you should have known that when you chose a life of crime." Henda returns home, but not before mounting Gabin's sword on her wall. She plays her game again and this time the marbel lands on Kanna Foloki.
Kanna walks and eats salted caramel snow cream on a cone. The Water Tribe classic is becoming an international hit. Henda lunges from a balcony and lands a few feet across Kanna. Spectators in the crowd flee but a few stay to watch.
Henda: "Kanna Foloki, I have come to hunt you!"
Kanna asks, "Why? Did someone put a bounty on me?"
Henda: "YES, I did! But not for a price, merely for the satisfaction of knowing I beat you."
Kanna shrugs, "Well, let's fight I guess." The woman runs at Kanna with blinding speed before striking at her left breast. Kanna dips right and kicks a fireball at Henda's head.
Miss Henda rotates her spear and blocks the shot before lunging at her chest. Kanna kicks herself the right wall and hurls a dark orange fireball at Henda's head. The huntress pulls her spear back and intercepts the shot with her weapon. Kanna lands a few inches behind her.
The hunter turns and slashes at Kanna's neck, but Foloki slips under the strike and pivots her body right before kicking a brick of fire at Henda's gut. Henda flips over the blast and lands a few feet right of Kanna. Henda pokes her lance at Kanna's head, but Foloki dips and moves closer.
Henda pulls her weapon back and sways it at Kanna who ducks under the motion and steps directly in front of her. Henda reveals a wrist blade and slashes at Kanna's face. Kanna ducks under it and knees Henda in her stomach before positioning behind her. Henda tries to rear elbow Kanna but the former 31st scout left leg sweeps her while enhancing her move with dark orange-gold flames.
Henda gasps and Kanna stands over her, "You done?" Henda raises her left hand to grab a knife and Kanna pops a flame in her shoulder to prevent her from countering. Kanna: "Are you done now?" Henda moans and rotates her body to try something different but kicks a light flame into her back.
Kanna: "Really, are you done? I'm not trying to kill you."
Henda exclaims, "Fine, I'm done!!" Kanna is careful to foot cuff and handcuff Henda.
Kanna asks, "Has anything been different for you lately?"
Henda: "What do you mean? I've always been a hunter."
Kanna: "So nothing."
Henda: "Well actually, I had a dream that I was enhanced by a wolf-jaguar spirit which has seemingly made me an even better fighter."
Kanna takes notes, "Right, as expected..."
Zior the Great
A man named Zior walks the streets. He has black straight hair, gold eyes, a long nose, a sturdy chin, a pale complexion, and thick eyebrows. Zior is the leader of a secret society called the Trust Wesselers. They are known for taking advantage of businesses and politicians.
However, Zior has been afraid of the mayor and has had to be cautious with how he approaches him. But now, things feel different. Zior goes to a meeting with six other executives in his order, "I think it is time we take the fight to the mayor."
Fat executive: "You've gone mad. We don't need those sorts of issues."
Zior: "There is something I want all of you to see." Zior concentrates and wide wings flap out through his clothes, ripping his shirt apart. The men watch in amazement.
Grey haired senior executive: "But why? What will that change?"
Zior: "It is an anointing and a sign that now is the time to fight back."
Executive: "How can we argue with that?" The executives agree out of fear that there must be a reason Zior gained his new powers and that he might as well take the fight to the mayor.
A few days later Jorai waits in a lobby to meet with a representative from the Trust Wesselers. Jorai has two Fire Nation guards with him. Both have glaives as well as red and white armor. Zior arrives with four men in suits.
Zior never comes with such a big crew to see the mayor. The official raises an eyebrow, "What is the meaning of all of this?"
Zior: "The Trust Wesselers will no longer play at your beckoning call. For now on, we want to gain 50% profit in all mutual transactions or deals. If you refuse, we will cut it entirely."
The mayor laughs, "Why would I fear you?"
Zior reveals his wings, "Because if you don't, I will take you hostage right now."
The mayor stutters, "G-get him! Guards!!" The mayor runs out of the room. The two men with glaives run at him and the one on the left lunges at him. Zior flies high and headkicks the guard then flies behind the second one and reveals a hidden sword before cutting the man down.
The man runs toward the City Hall building but Zior flies after him. Jorai stumbles and Zior steps to him, "Come on Jorai, don't make me drag you. We can do this the easy way or the hard way."
Kanna Foloki rushes into the room where the commotion happens. She immediately kicks a fire blast into one of the suited gangsters. One of them pulls out a sword, another has two swords, and the other is a firebender.
The bender promptly punches a fire sphere at her but Kanna flips between him and the duelists. The sword users cling their blades at her, and she jumps again further from them all before kicking an explosive fireball into the dual swordsman.
The duelist runs at her next and is swiftly blown back. The firebender punches two flames at Kanna's head and chest. The woman slides toward him then leaps up and swat kicks a fire cube in his torso.
Zior grabs the mayor and flies with him to his personal estate. Kanna quickly follows and uses a grappling hook to scale the wall of the building. Zior kicks the mayor in his kitchen and ties his arms together, "Don't make me do something I'll regret."
Zior steps in the living room and Kanna jumps down in front of a dark brown leather couch, "Stand down Zior!!"
Zior: "So it's YOU who stands in my way. Perhaps this is my final test, what I need to live out my dream. It's a pity you never learned how to be more than a pawn. This mayor isn't worth saving. Kanna all politicians are dirty; they make deals with everyone to make sure the streets run properly."
Kanna Foloki: "I care, but I still have a job to do. So, I have to kick your butt first and ask questions later."
Zior: "You are confused but still bold. I like that, but it will be your end!" Zior pulls his sword and zooms at Kanna with frightening speed before hacking his weapon left at her.
Kanna hops right and kicks at fireball at her. Zior blocks the blast with his spear but still is left shaken by the explosive nature of the blow. Zior flies forward to grab her, but Kanna has learned how to deal with these kinds of attacks, so she kicks him back.
Zior dashes at her again with a horizontal lash at her neck. Kanna bends under the slash and the crime leader accidentally cuts one of his lamps in two. Visibility decreases but Kanna is still focused.
Zior glides forward and lunges his saber at her. Kanna twirls left, and the winged man hacks his rapier at her feet. Kanna jumps over the brand and kicks Zior in his left ribs. A game Zior lunges at her with a diagonal sword thrust but Kanna spins right and kicks a flame at his right shoulder.
Zior raises and pivots his brand as he thwarts the blast yet again. Zior glides at her and swings down with a straightforward attack. Kanna weaves left then jumps up switches her guard and left kicks a fireball into Zior. The blow knocks Zior out.
Kanna frees the mayor, "What was Zior talking about, when he said all politicians are dirty?"
Jorai: "Kanna you really shouldn't listen to criminals. Of course, they will justify their lifestyle by saying that. Just be happy knowing you chose the right side."
