As Kara stepped into the school's parking lot, she immediately felt the weight of everyone's eyes on her.
Conversations halted, and heads turned in her direction. The stares were relentless, their intensity making her squirm.
She had no idea why she was suddenly the center of attention, but it was beginning to feel downright rude.
Before she could figure it out, the unmistakable roar of engines filled the air.
Turning toward the sound, she spotted four luxury cars pulling into the lot, pristine and gleaming under the morning sun.
A Bugatti, a Ferrari, an Audi, and a BMW.
She knew exactly who those cars belonged to.
The lot was packed, yet somehow, space had magically opened up, as though these vehicles had permanent VIP status.
The four occupants stepped out with effortless confidence, and chaos erupted. Screams echoed across the lot, shrill and deafening, as though actual celebrities had descended upon the school.
Before Kara could react, a girl with thick-rimmed glasses, wild blonde hair, and striking grey eyes yanked her to the side.
"Move!" the girl hissed, her voice urgent.
Seconds later, a stampede of girls surged past them. Clad in dangerously short skirts, sky-high heels, and reeking of designer perfume, they pushed forward with an almost primal energy.
Kara couldn't help but stare at the overly exaggerated hair and makeup and the alarmingly massive, probably fake, boobs that seemed to defy the laws of gravity.
Her unexpected companion leaned closer and muttered, "You're new here, aren't you?"
Kara nodded, still too stunned to speak.
"Yeah," the girl said with a smirk. "Welcome to the circus."
