Chapter 8 Unexpected Visitors

As the result was already clear, I asked her to resume a new round, since both Kai and Kotetzu had not yet finished their battle.

Kai smiled for a moment, realizing what had happened, since, apparently, he would no longer be the tail of the crane.

But when the combat went out of focus, Kotetzu made a horizontal cut, apparently it was too late to block the attack.

Lowering her posture, she managed to make Kotetzu's sword pass over her, although it was difficult for her to stand up again.

She had experience with sword duels, the only difference was that she, like most members of the clan, made movements that sought a quick victory.

This tactic was effective if it was the first time you fought with a member of our clan, possibly it will work against ninjas with a low level.

But when your opponent is more powerful or already knows the usual clan tactics, victory would not be for the ninjas of our clan.

Although clearly these tactics were only a small part of what our clan's kenjutsu did.

This was because we were still children, so we had to start with the basics of our clan's sword art.

Seeing her loss, she looked at me as if I had done something wrong. She focused so much on me with a look full of resentment.

But I didn't pay much attention to her, so I gave her the signal again for our fight to start again.

This time, she decided to quickly approach me, but without making a sneak attack like the previous one.

Seeing this, she decided to make some preventive attacks, which she blocked without any problem.

But after finishing my attack, she was very determined, so she firmly took her sword and made a thrust, so I made a block.

Making her sword blocked by mine, she swung with all her might in my direction.

When I noticed this, I put my feet firm, in doing so, the pain and tiredness of these and my arms began to reverberate in the duel.

Little by little I began to feel that at any moment I would fall to the ground, due to the weakening of my legs.

So, despite myself, I had to retreat. Although not for long, after two steps back, before sending my foot back for the third time, I slightly turned my sword.

This, because Fuyuko was pushing with all her strength, when I made this small movement, she would directly lose her balance and fall forward.

Indeed, when making this movement she lost control and was forced to pass by my side.

When I saw this happening, I turned as quickly as possible to carry out the blow that would make me win.

But what I saw was that she quickly regained her posture and found herself making a backward slash.

The same thing I had quickly calculated with respect to the position I had, which was below hers and, in addition, the speed at which I could stand up.

I quickly tried to block the slash, but it was too late, when I managed to position my sword in its place, Fuyuko's katana had already passed my defense.

When she turned her head she noticed that her blow was about to touch my skin, so she stopped the movement, while doing so, she slightly sketched a smile.

Only for a few moments, until she saw that I was also smiling, which left her bewildered, but with my gaze I indicated to her to look at her legs.

She lowered her gaze and when she saw that I was holding a kunai on her thigh she could not believe it, so she returned to her cold gaze again.

...

A year has passed and since Fuyuko had turned 5, she had to leave the clan and finally be named a kunoichi.

The rest of us still had a year to go before we could become ninjas, but we still went to our partner's game.

"Hey Fuyuko, do me a favor, take care of yourself." I told her with all the respect she deserved.

She smiled slightly at me and came closer. "Don't worry, just because I can't beat you, I won't be able to beat ninjas from other clans."

I smiled at her when I heard her great motivation, I really know she has a lot of potential, but sometimes her attitude can be seen as if she doesn't care about anything.

Although this is from the perspective of people who haven't known her like we have.

"Remember that when we meet again, we will resume our fights." Kai commented.

"You won't even dream of beating me."

"Hmm."

Hearing this, Fuyuko turns to look at Kotetzu, a blush could be seen beginning to spread on her cheeks.

As this was the last time we would see each other and we didn't know when it would happen again, she pounced on Kotetzu.

Something that at least he didn't expect, his body paralyzed, as if he had forgotten all his training.

Fuyuko hugged him, making her hair cover the scene, only a kiss could be heard.

She retreated a little embarrassed. Fuyuko could not stand to continue in that place and be seen by the people she had lived with for a year.

Trying not to run into anyone else, she immediately ran out of the place, leaving us all speechless.

"Hey, Kotetzu, don't worry, your girlfriend will return safe and sound." I commented to break the ice a little.

Kotetzu stared at me with a complicated look in which disbelief and anger stood out.

I had never joked with him, so that was where the disbelief came from, while the anger did not know where it had come from.

"Okay guys, it's time to return to our training." Kai said.

At this point, I clearly thought that our personalities had changed, why is Kai the one who regularly says nonsense, while I am the person responsible.

"Don't worry too much about her, I've seen how she has advanced thanks to you, and the battlefield she will attend is in the east with the subordinate clans of the Senju clan."

"It won't be hard for her to get used to fighting them, her level is below our level." Fuyuko's father added with a look of realization, referring to the fact that we were superior to them.

This lightened the worry in our hearts a little, as we were already aware of the huge loss of the clan members, but as Isamu said, this did not happen on the eastern battlefield.

The next moment a loud bang was heard in the distance and several explosions could be seen in the distance.

Realizing that the place they came from was the training camp, I also knew perfectly well that the ninjutsus that were performed were the same ones that I myself had taught Fuyuko.

Not only that, but they were strictly advanced fire style jutsus, and which I had told her to only use in cases of life or death, at least for a while.

So that she would not stand out from the rest of the new recruits and, therefore, I could put a target on her back, seeing her level.

I opened my eyes exalted, turned to look at Kotetzu and Kai, who had already reached the same conclusion as me.

"Kai, go to the patriarch's residence and ask for support, Kotetzu with me." They both nodded, so each of us separated.

Seeing the situation between us, Isamu's face showed various expressions, but seeing that we were already on our way, he followed Kotetzu and me.

Without saying a word, he put on an angry face, because he managed to analyze what was happening.

We quickly arrived at the training camp and what we were able to see shocked us all, including Isamu.

Around the entire training camp were various children and teenagers who had come to train their skills.

But what surprised us was that most of them were lying on the ground, with blood running down various parts of their bodies.

Some showed no signs of being alive, while others were in a situation that kept them on the verge of death.

In a corner, several children with minor injuries were gathered, forming a defense formation, while behind them was a girl, who was missing a leg.

"Fuyuko." Mr. Isamu shouted, clenching his fists so hard that the skin turned white from the pressure.

"Kotetzu, help the children who are still alive, Mr. Isamu, please buy some time, while support arrives." I responded, apparently calm, but the truth is that I was exuding an aura of rage and anger.
