" Hey K, wassup. " Brad would say towards Kaylee as Kaylee was wearing her shorts with a white long sleeve shirt and her fuzzy cute animal slippers.
" ..... Hi. " she would say dull and dry towards him. Glancing over at Tiffany whom in return gave Kay the face of ' be nice. '
" Aww what's wrong not delighted to see me? " he would mock, as he would smirk a bit walking entirely inside and down the steps.
" ... Not really... it's late. " Kaylee would say further as she would step back as he came further into the apartment.
" Not that late. " Tiffany would chime in to say as she then turned towards Bradley and grabbed the flowers from his hand.
" Awwe baby? These for me? " she would say knowing she knew the answer but wanted to ask anyways for the fun of it.
Bradley giving off the bad boy vibes, as he continued to glance over at Kaylee, before his blue orbs shifted towards Tiffany.
" ... What do you think? It's not like I have another girl— of course there for you. " he would state.
Tiffany hitting him with her back hand a bit as she replied. " You better not have another girl ! " she said as she walked into the kitchen looking for a vase she could put them inside.
" Take your shoes off. At least. " Kay would tell him as he was stepping on the kitchen floor with dirty shoes. Bradley chewing his gum, stared long and hard at Kaylee.
Kaylee not backing down continued to watch him carefully, before he would speak. " And if I don't? It's not like I'm going to stay long. "
" What?! " Tiffany would exclaimed.
" Thank God. " Kaylee would say fast.
" Well yeah.. I got shit I'm doing tonight... " Brad would tell Tiffany as she came rushing over after putting the flowers in a vase.
" Your ass isn't staying here?! What the fuck could be more important than me! " Tiffany said angrily.
" Ouch.. hey hey, look bae I got things I'm doing tonight that's for the guys and I. Besides— your friend is here— and you know how you and I get down. " Bradley said proudly pulling Tiffany closer.
" Ugh... gross. " Kaylee would say in a mumbling tone.
" Aww but baby, I can make her go stay with another friend of ours while we have this place to ourselves. " she would state aloud.
Immediately Kaylee's face turned towards Tiffany, and her expression became somewhat upset by her words as she walked over and yanked Tiffany away.
" Are you fucking serious?! " Kaylee would say harshly.
" Ah. Swear word. " Tiffany would say trying to ease the tension.
" Yeah! You make me say one at least once remember ! And this— this is one of those moments Tiff! "
" Okay okay look— please~ you know how much this would mean to me.... Bradley and I— we — we haven't had alone time in like weeks. He's been busy with football— and working.... " Tiffany tried to say.
Bradley watching the two girls talk before taking out his phone and starting to text on it. Although his demeanor was indicating he was becoming impatient.
" Weeks?! Wait wait you're dating a jerk who only can make time for you— when he needs to Tiff, not because he wants to. " Kaylee tried to explain however her tone was still pissed.
" Ugh! Will you shutup with that already, I thought we both established this already about how I feel about Brad! Why do you keep trying to take him from me? " Tiffany argued back.
The two women continued to get more and more aggressive and go back and forth to the point where Bradley had time to sit down on the couch. Time went on before it was at least 20 minutes had gone by and he was now annoyed.
" Ugh! You know what, I'm outta here. " Bradley scuffed before quickly getting up from the couch in a puff.
Suddenly Tiffany hearing her boyfriend, walked out the room and quickly rushed to get him. " Hey wait! Where are you going? " she asked him.
" I said I'm out. You and her are working my nerves and she obviously isn't going to leave this apartment. Damn— is she your only friend ? She doesn't have somewhere else she can go for one night? Pathetic. " Bradley remarked.
Kaylee hearing the commotion immediately stepped out and snapped hearing Bradley's harsh and unnecessary words.
" First of all asshole, I don't have to fucking go anywhere this is my fucking apartment! And I can stay in my fucking apartment if I wanna do that! You're the one who walked in here uninvited and— ! " Kaylee was ranting to say, before Tiffany intervened.
" Hey! Hey! Stop it! Both of you! Look please bae just— give me like 10 more minutes. " Tiffany asked him as Bradley shook his head and stepped closer making Kaylee and him face to face almost with Tiffany in between.
" Naw fuck that! You got 2 minutes. Either she's leaving or I am, and I'm not ever coming back. So you pick— you rather have a selfish ass friend or a boyfriend who don't have time to get in the middle of some girl shit drama. " Bradley demanded before he rolled his orbs and walked out the apartment.
Kaylee hearing the male shook her head in disgust before watching Bradley leave the apartment but knowing he didn't entirely leave just yet.
Nevertheless, Tiffany turned around in a huff eyeing Kaylee with ill intent. " Kay, look. You're my friend but you can be an ass sometimes. " she would speak aloud as Kaylee looked on confused and offended.
" What?! Me?! Did you not hear what that asshole said to me?! — " Kaylee would state angrily and hurt.
" Bradley is just upset because he feels like you're cock blocking us! And — honestly I have to agree with him. I mean seriously, stop acting like you and I are only friends you got Mark, Justin and I still think you're friends with Sammy. " Tiffany retorted.
Kaylee listening to Tiffany's words as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing. It was so bad that Kay had to turn her back to her and walk away and into her room.
Tiffany following her as she did, but Kaylee trying to close the door behind herself only for Tiffany to walk right inside. Kaylee was destroyed in a way, feeling like she was being backstabbed by her so called friend.
" I cannot believe you are choosing him over us, and how— oh my gosh— this is— wow... " Kaylee would say, as her eyes dilated in her pupils trying to grasp at everything that was happening around her.
Tiffany watching as her friend sat on her bed spread, deeply sighed knowing she was running out of time and convincing arguments. Tiffany was about to say something, when Kaylee's phone ranged.
Immediately Kay looked over at the caller ID and saw that it was Justin calling her. She didn't want to take any calls right now, but right now she also didn't want to speak to Tiffany more.
In a desperate attempt to hear a friendly voice Kaylee ended up picking up the call. " Hello? " she would answer hearing Justin on the other end.
" Hey Kay, wassup? "
" .... I ... I rather not discuss it.. " Kaylee said in a distant tone of voice.
Although Justin wasn't there he could feel something was wrong.
" Oh? You— you wanna talk about it? "
" ... N... not really... I mean... the phone isn't the place right now.. "
" Well why don't you come over.. " Justin immediately said towards her. Which made Kaylee orbs shoot open just a bit at how quick and delighted he seemed.
" R—really? "
" Yeah! I mean— Mark isn't here he stepped out for one of his poker night games, with some friends. He asked if I wanted to go, but I said nah— I'll chill here and watch a horror movie. I mean after all it's Friday night. " Justin explained.
Kaylee listening towards him as Tiffany ended up stepping out and rushing towards the front door to check in on Bradley. Hoping he was still there and that she could try and calm him down.
" I see.. " Kaylee would simply say.
" Yeah! So we don't have classes, well you all don't. I have my study hall class tomorrow but that's not until afternoon, so I got some kill time and I could use some company. " Justin continued to say.
" Ah.. ha.. sounds like you are having a chill night.... " Kaylee tried to say with a bit more energy but her feelings were still hurt by Tiffany's words.
Hearing the sounds of Kaylee on the other end, Justin tried to continue to comfort her. " And... judging by your tone of voice— you sound like you, could also use some company.. " Justin told her.
Hearing those words alone, almost made Kaylee want to cry right then and there. Fighting back the tears that started to swell up in her eyelids. She blinked as one tear dropped felt down.
She was now annoyed that she was starting to cry as she took the phone from her earlobe and sniffed before placing it back to her face and nodding.
" .... ya..yeah.. I could.. use some company... sure.. I'd like to come through... " Kaylee would softly say.
" Sure thing, you want me to come pick you up? You know you and Tiffany only live 35 minutes away from us. I'll quickly come and get you, just wait in you all's apartment lobby if you have too I'll be there soon, I promise. " Justin told her trying to sound comforting.
Kaylee sniffing once more but this time Justin being able to hear that one, as she would nod once more and speak in the phone.
" O.. okay. Thanks.. Just. " Kaylee would tell him.
" No problem, ight I'll see you soon. " Justin said as Kaylee would say okay once more before the two of them ended the call.
Kaylee sitting in silence realizing that Tiffany in the end got what she wanted. Although she couldn't care less now. She just hoped that the two of them didn't go in her room.
Kaylee also didn't mind due to her not wanting to be around Tiffany at all anyways at this moment. Which she hoped would pay off with a little bit of relaxation.
The woman would slowly rise from her bed and sigh wiping away the small tear drops she felt against her face. Inhaling with a shaking breath before walking over to her closet and looking for something to wear.
She wanted to be comfortable, but also didn't want to put on a bunch of stuff neither. After all checking the time now it was going on 10:00pm and she could've been asleep by now but wasn't.
Eventually, Kaylee settled with some black sweatpants, a sweater black shirt, her hair in a messy bun grabbing her purse along with her bonnet, wallet and phone.
Looking at herself in the mirror, staring at her reflection wondering how it came to this moment. She was more so upset with herself for allowing Tiffany and Bradley to kick her out an apartment she herself also paid for.
It was unnatural and also felt like she was once again overpowered. Although, she promised herself she would work on her cursing and her temper, which usually broke when it came to Tiffany.
Overall the woman didn't know what else to say or do, and started to walk out her room only to run into Brad and Tiffany in the kitchen talking and laughing together.
They didn't seem to care or mind at all, which only annoyed Kaylee more but she decided to say nothing and walked for the front door.
Tiffany slowly lifted her gaze, and watched as Kaylee looked depressed and also out of her mind. " Hold on bae. " she would tell Brad as Brad continued to watch the sports game on his phone.
" Hey... Kay, be safe.. " Tiffany would say towards her as Kaylee would look back briefly before not saying one word and unlocking the front door.
" .... And thank you really.. I mean it. " Tiffany would add on. Kaylee would once again speak nothing and slam the door behind her heading towards the lobby area to wait for Justin.
