I remember hearing about a missing person a decade ago. She had black hair, same as mine, and was a pale short woman. When Alicia Dorothy was missing from her small town, she had no one that could look after her, except a couple of friends that came looking for any help from locals, and even police were involved, conducting a search party.
Soon after, maybe a couple days after the group found nothing, I recall watching the news on that day. It felt empty. The town. Anyone who was involved with the search party disappeared. It was puzzling to see life stripped away, haunting to see that barely anyone lives there.
Five years later after she was declared missing, Alicia would be spotted in the central district of Toronto. Despite this being a cold case, some of the people took the time to track her down, while Alicia herself did not want to be found. I wonder why she did what she did, and to be honest, I don't intend to find out her reasoning. I might cause her more trouble, especially me digging through things I shouldn't, and that's best for me not to help her. I wasn't employed at the time, so there was nothing I could do.
The main question is whether she had something no one had? I wonder about that a lot.
