Chapter 23: An Unexpected Offer

The victory over Crawley Town had solidified Blackhaven's reputation as a rising force. But as Daisuke left the training ground the following evening, he found someone waiting for him—a man in a sharp suit, standing by a sleek black car.

"Daisuke Sakamoto, I presume?"

Daisuke stopped, his sharp eyes scanning the man. "Depends on who's asking."

The man chuckled. "My name is Victor Reinhardt. I represent Bayern Munich."

Silence. The name alone carried weight. Bayern Munich—one of Europe's footballing giants. What could they possibly want with him?

"Walk with me," Victor gestured, leading Daisuke toward a quiet area near the parking lot.

Victor wasted no time. "Your work with Blackhaven has caught a lot of attention, especially in Germany. The tactical shifts, the squad development—it's beyond what anyone expected from a newly promoted club."

Daisuke folded his arms, waiting.

"Bayern is interested in securing you—not as a head coach, but as part of our long-term structure. We're offering you a role in our tactical department, working closely with our coaching staff. You'd be one step away from managing one of the biggest clubs in the world."

It was a massive opportunity. A direct path to the elite tier of European football. But Daisuke's expression remained unreadable.

"And if I refuse?"

Victor smiled knowingly. "Then we'll keep watching. You won't stay at Blackhaven forever, Mr. Sakamoto. When the time comes, Bayern will be ready."

With that, he handed Daisuke a business card and left.

Later that night, Daisuke sat in his home office, staring at the Bayern Munich card. The offer was tempting—who wouldn't want to be part of a footballing empire?

But deep down, he already knew his answer.

"Not yet."

Blackhaven was still his project. His team. His vision. He wasn't done proving himself.

For now, Bayern Munich would have to wait.

Back at the club, the transfer window was heating up. With Blackhaven's rise, bigger teams had started circling their key players.

Brandon Hale had an offer from a Championship side.

Lewis Carter was attracting interest from Bundesliga clubs.

Even O'Connell, their defensive anchor, had caught the eyes of scouts.

Daisuke sat with Hana, reviewing the bids.

"Reject them all," he said simply.

Hana sighed. "You know they'll keep coming, right?"

Daisuke smirked. "Let them. We're not selling our core players—not yet."

Instead, he had his own plans for the transfer window. Strengthen. Reinforce. Prepare for the next stage.

Because if Bayern Munich had noticed him, it meant others were watching too.

And soon, Blackhaven wouldn't just be a rising club.

They'd be a powerhouse.
