Secrets Revealed

Ruby blushed at Eldwin's flirtatious action.

Blushing didn't mean that she had been charmed by him. On the contrary, she thought that this man was up to something. And the wise choice would be to keep a distance from him.

However, her heart was thumping violently.

She immediately looked out the window and tried to calm herself down. The aircraft had left. She looked back and found that the cars chasing after them were also gone. Ruby was relieved and thought,

"We're safe now, aren't we?"

She was relaxed, but Eldwin was upset. He looked down at his sexy figure, tender skin, and muscles. Then, he looked up into the rearview mirror, but Sanders blocked his sight, so he waved for Sanders to move.

He looked in the mirror and once again confirmed that he was as handsome as always.

How come he would fail to attract this woman? In his experience, women usually would be fascinated by him without him trying anything. There was something Eldwin, who had always been smart, didn't know. It was not that he was not charming, but that he had scared Ruby. After all, the only man Ruby had been intimate with was Travon. And that man had always been gentle to her except the last moment before her death in the previous life.

Eldwin was the first man Ruby had met that was as enchanted as a demon. The image of Eldwin's masculine charm, his movements, as well as his collarbone, flashed in her mind.

Ruby's face turned redder when she thought that. Her mind was fully occupied by Eldwin's face and his movements.

She tried to shake him out of her head, but she couldn't, as if he was already deep rooted there. She started to wonder if it was a wise choice to have asked Eldwin to help her take down Travon. Would this get her into more trouble?

Eldwin noticed her blushing face and smiled secretly. It worked, which proved that he was charming, after all. He wanted to tease Ruby again, but it was already late. Considering all the fear she had suffered today, he believed he should give her a break and let her go home!

Unexpectedly, when Eldwin said that he wanted to take Ruby home, she pouted and said,

"Didn't you say that you have a gift for me?"

She had been impressed by his first gift. And she thought the second gift would not be disappointing, either. Eldwin raised his eyebrows as he was surprised to find that she hadn't forgotten about the gift after experiencing so much fear. He lowered his voice and said with a mysterious and mischievous smile.

"It's eleven o'clock now. If we go there right now, we may not be back before midnight. Are you sure you want to stay with me and the old man in the driver's seat?"

His teasing tone and the mischievous look on his face made him look like a bad guy even more. Ruby shook her head vigorously, feeling as if she had fallen into a wolf's den and was going to be torn apart.

"No! I want to go home. Now! Please take me home!"

The "old man" in front sighed in his heart, 'Man, you want to scare the girl, that's fine. But couldn't you leave me out of it?' 'An old man?' 'I'm only 30. I'm not old!' thought Sanders.

He started the car and drove all the way to Ruby's house. On the way, Sanders stopped the car. Ruby looked out the window and saw that they had not reached her home yet!

"The car is broken. Let's take another one," explained Eldwin as he got out of the car and opened the door on the other side for

Ruby. "I see!" Ruby grunted and got off.

While she was getting out of the car, Eldwin put his hand on the door frame to prevent her head from bumping into it.

Sanders was surprised to see Eldwin was so sweet to Ruby. He didn't know whether Eldwin really cared about her so much or he was faking it for some agenda.

But who cared? He just needed to do his job.

Eldwin always knew what he was doing and didn't need Sanders to worry about him.

On the other hand, Ruby naturally had noticed Eldwin's considerate gesture. She concealed her feelings and thanked him.

Eldwin took her into a red Ferrari, which only had two seats. He was going to drive her home personally.

"Wait here. I'll be right back." Eldwin closed the door for Ruby and went straight to Sanders. Through the open window, Ruby stared at Eldwin. To avoid scaring the girl again, he put on a gentle smile to replace his cold look. However, his voice was extremely cold as he spoke.

"Sanders, find out who sent those guys to attack us. Gather one hundred muscles and make sure the weapons are ready. I want them dead!"

As Eldwin chewed out the last word "dead", his eyes looked malicious. However, this cold-blooded man had a smile on his face!

"Got it."

Sanders wasn't surprised to receive the order. This was the way Eldwin was. He would never forget to return a favor regardless of how small it was. And the same principle went with revenge. He would never stop seeking revenge until it got even.

The people who had messed with him today would only end up in two ways. One way was that Eldwin would torture them slowly and miserably until he was satisfied and killed them. The man that worked for Dracula was a good example.

Eldwin had tortured that guy miserably before getting rid of him for good. The other way was

that Eldwin would wipe out all of them without leaving any loose ends. Obviously, he was going to deal with those guys who had messed with him today the second way.

One way or the other, they were going to die. As for how they would die, it totally depended on Eldwin. What Sanders needed to do was to follow Eldwin's orders. As far as he was concerned, Eldwin always won.

Even if he failed, Eldwin would not give up. After a few years of hard work, he would succeed eventually. Sanders respected this man, who was several years younger than him. Eldwin had killed many people, but he only did that because he had to.

If Eldwin hadn't killed those people, they would kill him instead. He did what he had to do to survive. Sanders turned around and left to carry out the order. Eldwin returned to the Ferrari and started the car, heading to Ruby's house. They remained silent in the car.

Ruby didn't feel like talking, while Eldwin wanted to say something but didn't know what to say.Are you cold? Are you hungry These questions would sound stupid, wouldn't they?

Eldwin was about to sigh when something on his chest reminded gave him an idea. This seemed like a good topic. He took out the thing and handed it to her, saying, "Ruby, take it!"

"Hmm?" Ruby took the thing and found it was a thumb drive. "What's this?"

"Call me, Eldwin!"

Eldwin found that Ruby seemed to have never called him by his name.

"It was nothing difficult to call him by his name," thought Ruby. Then she asked,

"Eldwin, what's in the pendrive?"

Eldwin placed one of his hands on the window frame and the other on the steering wheel. The wind outside tumbled Eldwin's short hair, and the neon lights shone on his face, forming a different kind of brilliance. Eldwin smiled with the corners of his mouth curled up,

"Go home and see it yourself,"

Then, he thought of something and reminded her, "By the way, you don't have to worry that Travon will find something wrong because the evidence is with you. Even if he is doubtful of the truth behind it, he will not question you without evidence. He has always done things that he is confident with!" Ruby looked at the pendrive with a serious face.

"The evidence?"

Ruby thought in confusion. She had a moment of brain fart as she could not understand what Eldwin was talking about.

Eldwin turned to look at Ruby after he stopped the car. Ruby did not even realize that she had reached home as she kept staring at the pendrive.

Eldwin turned on the car light which was white. The white weak light shone on Ruby's face, and her face seemed to be paler than the white light. Eldwin frowned. He never noticed that Ruby's face was so pale until he turned the car light on.

Was it because she fainted? It must be!

She was still such an amateur, fainting after hurting others! With her level of bravado, it would still be a long way to go before she could defeat Travon!

Ruby hung her head, the shape of her chin was perfectly sculpted, not a trace of flab to be seen. Her features were soft and her complexion was pale. Due to her condition, her lips were pinkish instead of the usual crimson colour.

A strand of her hair fell as she lowered her head, arcing along the profile of her face and landing on the corner of her lips. Eldwin felt a tremble in his heart. He reached out and tucked the strand of hair back in place.

Ruby looked up when her cheek was being touched, and she saw Eldwin's hand was near her face. She did not realize when the car had stopped by her house.

"Thank you for fetching me home, I think I should go now!" said Ruby.

Eldwin did not give a response. It was not that he did not hear it. It was because his attention was completely on Ruby's pinkish lips. Her pinkish lips fluttered when she was talking, and her white teeth could be seen from time to time.

Ruby did not know what Eldwin was doing. She waved her hand in front of Eldwin and asked, "Hey, why are you in a daze? And why are you grabbing my hand?"

All of a sudden, Eldwin grabbed Ruby's waving hand and held her in his arms.

Ruby looked up at a loss, Eldwin's handsome face was getting closer to her. Eldwin slowly lowered his head.

When his cool lips touched Ruby's soft lips, he could not control himself as he wished to be gentle at first. What started as an innocent kiss gradually grew into a rolling turmoil.

Ruby, who had been kissed, slowly closed her eyes.

Then she opened her eyes again after the kiss, she saw that Eldwin still staring at her.

His blue eyes were bright and overbearing!

With only one glance, Ruby then looked away. His gaze made her feel that she seemed to be in danger all the time.

"I'm off!" said Ruby. "It would be better to leave now," she thought.

"Hold on!" Eldwin grabbed Ruby's hand again.

"What's the deal with you!"

Ruby roared in her heart. This time, Eldwin released his hold upon Ruby after he tidied up her messy hair.

"Well, you can go now! Wait for my call at any time. Also, don't forget that there were Travon's people around. Be careful." said Eldwin.

"His voice is husky. It was nice!" thought Ruby. But then she got off the car with a gloomy face.

"How on earth could I like Eldwin's voice?" Ruby thought.

Eldwin drove away, and his mind was full of the girl that he was crushing on so much. He pursed his lips, and there was a faint tragrance.

Eldwin smiled and chuckled. If anyone else there would definitely be fascinated by his smile! Ruby stood in the door of her house and looked at Eldwin's car getting farther from her sight, she then turned and got back into her house.

It was almost 1a.m. in the morning when she got home. She carefully observed the surrounding without startling any other people in the house. She made sure there was no suspicious found, only then she got back to her room, and she immediately inserted the pendrive to her laptop to see the content inside.

Ruby was stunned by the scene played on the laptop screen. She covered her mouth to conceal the fact that she was shocked.

"Isn't this the surveillance camera in the cruise ship?" Ruby thought.

The monitor showed that she did not take any drinks, and it also recorded down how Ada passed the drinks to a waitress.

"By the way, you don't have to worry that Travon will find something wrong because the evidence is with you. Even if he is doubtful of the truth behind it, he will not question you without evidence. He has always done things that he is confident with!"

She recalled Eldwin's words in her mind. About the evidence... When such a thing happened on the cruise ship, Travon would definitely look for the surveillance recording to know what was going on.

Fortunately, Eldwin took out the surveillance recording, or Travon would definitely find out that it was her. That was a close call! Luckily Eldwin was there! Eldwin knew Travon very well!

Ruby frowned and relaxed for a few seconds. It was not surprising that he knew Travon that well. Eldwin's identity was mysterious and fairly complicated, Ruby did not know his background that well.

It was very likely that he had investigated Travon. He could even get all the information of Travon's family if he wanted to. He was not a man to be trifled with!
