Isabel hung up the phone and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She knew that she had a long and difficult road ahead of her, but she was determined to see justice served.

As she waited for her friend to arrive, Isabel couldn't help but wonder what other secrets Victoria was hiding. And she was determined to find out.

Isabel's eyes widened in horror as she listened to the voice on the other end of the line. "What do you mean, Victoria killed my dad too?" she asked, her voice shaking with rage.

The voice on the phone hesitated before speaking. "I'm so sorry, Isabel. I should have told you sooner. But I was afraid of Victoria. She's a ruthless woman."

Isabel's mind was reeling with questions. Why had Victoria killed her dad? What had he done to deserve such a fate?

She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. She knew she had to think clearly if she was going to bring Victoria to justice.

"Tell me everything," Isabel said, her voice firm. "I want to know why Victoria killed my dad, and how she got away with it."

The voice on the phone hesitated again before speaking. "It's a long story, Isabel. But I'll tell you everything I know."

Isabel listened intently as the voice on the phone told her a story of greed, betrayal, and murder. She learned that her dad had discovered Victoria's embezzlement scheme and had threatened to expose her.

Victoria had killed him to silence him, and then she had killed Isabel too when she had gotten too close to the truth.

Isabel's anger and grief boiled over as she listened to the story. She knew she had to make sure Victoria paid for what she had done.

"I'm going to the police," Isabel said, her voice firm. "I'm going to make sure Victoria is brought to justice."

The voice on the phone agreed. "I'll come with you, " they said . "We'll make sure Victoria pays for what she's done. "

Isabel's eyes widened in shock as she turned to face the person who had been helping her uncover the truth.

"Alexander?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Alexander nodded, a small smile on his face. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner," he said. "But I had to be careful. Victoria is a ruthless woman, and I didn't want to put you in danger."

Isabel's mind was reeling with questions. How did Alexander know so much about Victoria and her past? And why had he been helping her all along?

But before she could ask any of those questions, Alexander took her hand and pulled her close.

"I've been waiting for you, Isabel," he said, his eyes locked on hers. "I've been waiting for you to remember."

Isabel's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Alexander's eyes. What did he mean? And what did he know about her past?

Isabel's eyes widened in shock as Alexander's words hung in the air. "You've been following me?" she repeated, trying to process what she was hearing.

Alexander nodded, his expression serious. "I had to," he said. "I had to make sure you were safe."

Isabel felt a shiver run down her spine as she thought about Alexander watching her, following her. It was a little unsettling, but at the same time, she felt a sense of gratitude towards him.

"Why?" she asked, looking into his eyes. "Why did you feel like you had to follow me?"

Alexander's expression softened, and he took a step closer to her. "Because I care about you, Isabel," he said. "I care about what happens to you."

Isabel's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Alexander's eyes. She saw something there, something that looked like genuine concern and affection.

But she was still wary, still unsure of what to make of Alexander's revelation. She needed time to think, to process everything.

"I need some space," she said finally, taking a step back from Alexander.

Alexander nodded, his expression understanding. "I'll give you space," he said. "But Isabel, please be careful. Victoria is still out there, and she's not going to give up easily."

Isabel nodded, feeling a sense of determination wash over her. She was going to bring Victoria to justice, no matter what it took.

Isabel walked out of the house, taking a deep breath of the cool evening air. She felt overwhelmed by everything that had happened, and she needed some time to clear her head.

As she walked, she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched. She looked around, but there was no one in sight.

She continued walking, lost in thought. She was trying to process everything that Alexander had told her, and everything that she had remembered.

As she turned a corner, she noticed a figure standing in the shadows. She felt a shiver run down her spine, and she quickened her pace.

But as she got closer, she saw that it was Alexander. He was standing with his arms crossed, watching her.

"I told you I'd give you space," he said, as she approached him. "But I couldn't just leave you alone. I had to make sure you're safe."

Isabel felt a surge of emotions. She was angry that Alexander had followed her, but at the same time, she was grateful that he cared about her safety.

"I'm going to tell you everything that happened, I can now recall everything " isabel uttered like someone who has a heart disease gasping for air, half death.

She lazily clamps her hand on Alexander for support, her lips we're dried and rough like someone who hasn't gotten even a sip of water.

Alexander grasp her by the waist. " you need to rest cause you are pale death. "

"I promise she will regret this !" mange to get out from her vocal cord

He called a taxi and they headed home.
