Cruel Bride

"Listen to me! You are my bride, and no one can take you away from me! Whether you like it or not, you will always become my bride! In every life, you will always become my bride!"

A devilishly handsome man proclaimed calmly, sitting on his throne with his left arm resting on the armrest, his head propped up on his knuckles.

He was blessed with long, beautiful red hair that added to his allure, making him appear even more devilish. As his eyes were closed, it was difficult to identify their color. His other hand rested on the opposite armrest of the throne, releasing a powerful aura that made the hearts of those present race. He appeared utterly calm and composed, showing no signs of sadness or unrest.

His attire, entirely black, easily hinted that he was a figure to be feared, despite his expressionless demeanor.

Standing in the center of the hall was a silver-haired lady, dressed in a royal silver gown with an exquisite design. Her skin glowed beautifully, and her stunning black eyes were filled with anger. An imprint of the moon adorned her forehead, adding to her already captivating beauty. Her silvery hair flowed freely, intertwining with the air.

She looked furious, her palm ablaze with fire, clearly preparing to attack the man on the throne.

The devilish handsome man slowly opened his mouth, maintaining a calm tone. "Why don't you attack? Do you find me handsome now?" he remarked, still not opening his eyes.

The lady gritted her teeth. "Listen here, Devil!it's not that I can't attack you. Don't forget that you have already transferred all your powers to me; your life is nothing!" she exclaimed, the flames in her palm extinguishing immediately.

The devilish handsome man sighed, remaining motionless. "I still prefer you call me Lucifer as always" he sigh again. "That slave can't do anything good for you, my Bride. And let me make it clear: you can only be my bride, and nothing can change that," he responded calmly.

The lady clenched her teeth and suddenly appeared in front of Lucifer, a flaming sword forming in her hand as she prepared to thrust it into his chest. However, she was stopped by just a single finger from Lucifer.

The sword was yanked from her control, standing obediently before Lucifer, while she was flung several distances away.

Terror gripped her as she gazed at the flame sword. "You... you... how is it that you are still powerful?" she shouted, her voice trembling.

Lucifer smiled lightly and, with a simple movement of his finger, drove the flame sword into his own heart. "There's no need to stain your beautiful hands; I can do it on my own," he declared. His eyes, now a bloody red, opened, revealing a menacing intensity. The sword that pierced his heart vanished, and he appeared entirely unharmed. Rising from the throne, he approached the lady, who was still fixated on him in shock.

"I don't want to scare you; it disturbs me when you're afraid of me," he said, caressing her hair affectionately. "The concept of death holds no power over me, but I can create an illusion of it just to please you, my Bride." He smiled and leaned down, gently biting her neck without causing her pain.

After a brief moment, Lucifer withdrew and gazed deeply into her eyes. "Sleeping for eternity can also be considered death, wouldn't you agree? Are you fine with that? My Bride Lilith!" he asked tenderly.

Summoning every ounce of courage, Lilith looked into Lucifer's eyes. "As long as you stop breathing," she replied resolutely.

Lucifer smiled and took her hand, bringing it to his face. "Lilith, even if I am gone, you will always remain my bride. Don't be deceived by others; I will always submit to your wishes. But I suppose this is the last request of yours I can fulfill at least for now, the Devil plead please do not seek out Lucas again," he said softly.

Lilith stared at Lucifer for a prolonged moment, about to respond when he suddenly closed his eyes and slumped onto her, nearly causing her to lose her balance.

Furrowing her brows, she pressed her finger against his nose to confirm he had stopped breathing. After verifying his stillness, she laid him gently on the ground and began to kick him.

"Hmph! It's better this way; you are finally dead. I can finally be with the person I love," she said with a smile before she turned to leave.

...…

Inside an old-looking house…

A young handsome man with long blonde hair sat on the ground with a stick in his mouth, gazing up at the sky through a thorny space in the ceiling. The sky, unusually red, seemed to glow even more ominously.

A smile spread across his face as he spat out the stick. "It appears this foolish princess has completed the job," he murmured.

"My lord, we have surrounded everywhere; all that remains is for the princess to confirm, and we will start everything," a voice echoed from an unclear direction.

The young, handsome man smiled even wider. "Ah, finally, I'm in control," he laughed loudly.

"Lucas!" Lilith's voice rang out, lively and filled with happiness. Hearing the voice only made Lucas smile more dangerously.

Lilith entered the house and saw Lucas sitting on the ground, not even bothering to glance at her. "You killed him?" he inquired.

Lilith chuckled. "Yes, he's dead now. You should marry me immediately," she replied.

Lucas's smile widened as he turned his face to look at Lilith. "And you bear to kill him?" His voice didn't sound like a question but rather like mockery.

Lilith noticed it but didn't dwell on it. "He's always been the bad guy. Didn't you always tell me all the bad things he did? I hate him, and I don't want to be his bride at all," she smiled, walking closer to him and taking his hand. "He's dead already; let's not talk about him. Let's plan our marriage and our future," she beamed warmly.

Lucas's smile grew even wider as he gently caressed Lilith's hair, tracing it down to her neck, and suddenly chuckled. "You so easily kill off someone who has cared for you since you were born, just because of a few bad words from me about him. You, without any hesitation, ended the life of someone who loved you and always sought to please you. You ended his life mercilessly. You are truly a sin! You are cruel and remorseless." Saying this, he grabbed her neck.

Lilith was shocked and began to struggle. "What... what are you doing, Lucas? Stop... stop this joke," she stammered.

Lucas's smile widened, and his grip on Lilith's neck tightened. "Joke? Haha! You think this is a joke? Well, even though you are foolish, I can't help but appreciate it. At least it allows me to achieve my years of planning goals in just a few days. This is really good, haha!"

Lilith was running out of breath. She wanted to use magic, but strangely she couldn't use it, she wanted to use martial arts but her body didn't listen to her, she wanted to struggle but she's somehow was too weak, tears helplessly roll down from her cheek.
