Episode 2 : Training Camp
[The next day]
The opening day of the training camp had arrived in a flash. The children were gathered in a gymnasium with curious faces. Suddenly footsteps were heard and the door opened:
"We did it. HAHAHA!!!" Oikawa attracting the attention of the others as he entered the gymnasium.
Iwaizumi: "Stop yelling, you're embarrassing us" then he and Renji entered too.
Renji observed the children and although some were normal there were a few who stood out and caught his attention because of the aura they gave off despite their young age. Renji didn't know it but they were the monsters from the original work (Ushijima, the Miya brothers, Kuroo, Kamori)
Renji (thoughts): "this promises to be interesting" a smile filled with excitement appeared on his face
Oikawa (with a mocking smile): "Hey Ren-chan, what's with that face, you're not thinking about perverted things are you?"
Iwaizumi approached him and hit him on the head
Oikawa: "Ouch! What was that for?" he said while rubbing his head.
Iwaizumi: "Be more serious"
Renji: "Hahaha! Well done Iwa-chan, I couldn't have done better"
Iwaizumi: "Stop it too or you'll be next"
Renji: "It's okay, it's okay" he said while walking away. Then the camp leader came out and gave his speech and declared the start of the training camp.

The camp began with stretching and simple exercises that were actually used to divide each child into groups by level. Naturally Renji, Oikawa, Iwaizumi, and the monsters from the original (Ushijima, the Miya brothers, Kuroo, Kamori) joined group 1 (the strongest group).
Coach (in an authoritarian tone): "Group 1 gather!!"
And the eight players gathered in front of the coach.
Oikawa to Renji (whispering): "he already scares me"
Coach: "Let me introduce myself, I am coach Lucio from Brazil and I will be your coach for the duration of the camp. From my observation you have already mastered the basics, I deduce that you already have experience in volleyball, right?"
The players nodded and the coach continued "So you will divide into groups of 4 and we will do a training match to better see your skills. Is that okay with you?"
"YES SIR!!!"
Then the players split into two teams of 4. Renji's Red team consisted of Oikawa, Kamori and Osamu, and the other blue team consisted of Ushijima, Atsumu, Kuroo and Iwaizumi.
The match began and the Red team had won the right to serve, and Renji took care of it.
Renji (thoughts): "how long has it been since I felt this way..."
He stepped forward and took the ball, closed his eyes and calmed his breathing.
"I don't know why I got this second chance, but one thing is for sure...."
He threw the ball and made his approach
"this time I will reach the highest peaks"
He launched himself into the air and at his peak when the ball arrived at the perfect height, he hit the ball with all his might. The ball arrived on the other side of the court in a few seconds and before everyone had time to react it crashed to the ground a few inches from the line.
"OUT !!! point for the blue team "
Renji: " Tchhh !!! I forced too much "
Silence reigned on the court, all eyes were turned towards Renji. Even the coach looked at Renji shocked (thoughts): " A .... jump serve .... at such an age ? "
Ushijima was also shocked because he had never seen a child his age perform a jump serve.
Oikawa (stars in his eyes): "Woah that was so cool Ren-chan"
Iwaizumi (to his team members): "Get used to it quickly, because Renji is a monster"
Atsumu: "hahaha, a monster huh.... interesting"
Kamori: "heheh!! I did well to come here"
Coach Lucio: "Come on let's continue" But he didn't fail to give Renji one last look.
the match continued and we could quickly see that these eight players were on a whole other level, especially Renji who stood out with every shot, every serve.
kuroo after feinting by Renji: " Tchhh ! that's why I don't like geniuses "
Coach Lucio (Thoughts ) : " these kids are really above the rest, starting with Oikawa, despite his young age he is able to adapt to his attackers and send the most appropriate passes and also analyze the opponent's weaknesses. Then on an Atsumu who is even more talented, he is already able to send incredible passes under any position, with him on the impression that the attackers improve each time. then we have his twin brother Osamu who is more versatile and can be a good attacker on the wing but also a good passer. We also have Iwaizumi who is a good attacker, although less talented he can also be formidable as a blocker. Then there is Kuroo a genius blocker also capable of evolving in attack. In addition we have Kamori with incredible reflexes and anticipation making him an extraordinary libero to become, Then there is Ushijima despite his young age his physique and the power he is capable of is incredible, he also has a strong desire to progress. And finally Renji the most talented of all, in attack he is a scoring machine, capable of sending powerful attacks, but also of hitting from all angles, but the most terrifying remains this maturity in his game while he is not even in middle school yet. "
