They walked down the street, the city alive with the usual afternoon chaos. Car horns honked in the distance, people chattered as they passed by, and the scent of roasted nuts and street food floated on the breeze. It was one of those days that didn’t need a plan. They just wanted to be outside, together.

Sienna had her arm hooked through Damian’s, her body leaning slightly into his as they strolled. Neither of them spoke, but it wasn’t awkward. It was peaceful. The kind of silence that came when two people didn’t need to fill the air with words.
