CHAPTER 44

"You know, I am kinda shocked that Marco didn't tease you about the things you said when you were drunk," Damian said, glancing over at Sienna as he guided the car through the quiet streets that led back to the villa. The roads were near empty at that hour, painted silver by the soft glow of the moon, and the occasional street lamp flickered as if trying to stay awake.

Sienna chuckled, her eyes still heavy from the long shift. "Well, I'm grateful. Because trust me, if he did, he would have made sure the entire club heard it. He has a flair for drama."

"Wow, what a great friend he is," Damian teased, shooting her a sideways glance.

"A great one indeed," she agreed, a soft smile tugging at her lips.
