The Arrival of the High Gods

Days had passed since the elite God Hunters fled in severe injuries. Peace seemed to return to the village, but Feng Tian and Hei Wu knew that such calm was just a fleeting illusion.

Beyond the calm blue sky, heavenly spies had begun their watch. In the upper realm, the High Gods had already heard rumors that a Celestial God, long thought to have vanished from the world, was living among mortals.

In a magnificent palace above the clouds, a gathering of powerful Gods sat around a crystal table that emitted divine light. In the center of the table, an image of Feng Tian was projected, showing him peacefully tending to his garden, smiling as though nothing mattered.

"I can't believe it... That's really him. The Celestial God Feng Tian, the Sky Sovereign who disappeared!" exclaimed one of the white-robed Goddesses.

An elderly God with a long beard frowned. "How can a being of such immense power live in the mortal realm... and even protect mere humans?"

A young God slammed his hand on the table. "He's too dangerous! If he regains his full power, no one will be able to stop him! We must act before it's too late!"

"Calm yourselves," said the golden-eyed Supreme God, leader of the gathering. "We cannot act recklessly. He is indeed dangerous... but if we can persuade him to return to Heaven, he would be our greatest ally."

But most of the gathered Gods didn't agree.

"And if he refuses?"

"If he refuses..." the Supreme God said softly, "then we will have no choice but to eliminate him."

-----

That evening, the sky suddenly darkened. Black clouds gathered, and golden lightning streaked through the sky.

The villagers ran in terror.

"Monsters?! A disaster?!"

Soon after, pillars of light descended from the heavens, and seven High Gods appeared in the sky above the village, each exuding a terrifying aura.

Villagers fell to their knees, unable to withstand the divine pressure.

"Hei Wu, looks like our esteemed guests have arrived," Feng Tian said, looking up with a faint smile.

The leader of the Gods, the golden-eyed man, gazed at Feng Tian with a mixture of awe and caution.

"Feng Tian... the Celestial God. We have come to bring you back."

Feng Tian smiled, "Back? I never intended to return. My life here is peaceful enough."

One of the Goddesses stepped forward, her voice sharp. "You know, with your power, this mortal realm is unworthy to hold you. You must return to your rightful place."

Feng Tian slowly shook his head. "I don't want to live in endless conflict. I only seek peace."

The young God, who had been furious during the meeting, stepped forward with eyes filled with rage.

"You want peace? But your power could destroy this world! If you refuse to come with us... we will force you!"

As those words were spoken, the sky began to tremble. The combined auras of the seven High Gods erupted, filling the sky.

But shockingly, Feng Tian stood calmly, unfazed by their pressure.

Slowly, Feng Tian's divine aura began to emerge, far surpassing the combined power of the seven.

The previously dark sky split apart, and golden celestial light poured down, covering the village.

All the Gods stared at Feng Tian with pale, trembling faces.

"T-this... this is the true power of a Celestial God... Power beyond all of us..." one of them whispered.

Their leader, the golden-eyed God, swallowed hard.

"Feng Tian... You... haven't lost your power...?"

Feng Tian smiled faintly. "Did you think I was truly weak? I only wish to live peacefully... but I will not stay silent if you disturb me."

Feng Tian took a step forward, causing the ground to crack beneath him.

"If you wish to force me, I will not hesitate to bury you all here."

His voice was calm, yet it shook the souls of all the Gods.

The Goddess who had spoken sharply earlier now looked terrified. "W-we can't fight him... even together..."

Their leader took a deep breath. "Very well... We will leave. But this warning will reach the Heavens."

Feng Tian nodded. "Tell them. I don't seek war, but if they force my hand... I will not back down."

-----

After the seven Gods left, Feng Tian sat back in front of his house, looking at the sky.

Hei Wu stood beside him, his face serious.

"My Lord, they will not stay quiet. Sooner or later, all of Heaven will come."

Feng Tian only smiled, gazing at the flowers swaying in the wind.

"Let them. If this world wants war... I will face them all."
