Goals and Motives for the future

"Thump...thump...thump!"

A noise can be heard as multiple kunai's blunt spots hit the target without embedding themselves.

'This is harder than I thought.' I think to myself wiping my sweat off my eyebrows.

It's now been a few weeks since meeting Hinata and it has made me question myself a little.

What do I want to achieve?

I need a goal...

Maybe building my foundation to an extreme like my chakra control.

Ignoring jutsu and focusing on physical conditioning and kenjutsu. Then after my reserves grow more I can then more easily adjust to ninjutsu.

*Thump.. thump*

Throwing two more kunais with correct aim but not enough power I hear the kunai bounce off the target once again.

There are bigger goals.

Being the strongest?

Most influence?

Richest?

All things I can consider later but for now power is my main priority. With it, I can protect my future wife and my future family. Of course, getting a beautiful wife is one of the main goals I personally have.

Also, the power to make sure this world isn't cooked before I can get some...

Maybe I could talk to the milf aunties.

"Ugh." I groan as for the 14th time today, my body dragged itself towards the tree stump with a target and pick up my kunai set of five. It that was gifted to me by Danzo.

Picking up the kunais I start to think more and more about the future.

'I'll think about my goals later on in life when I see my progress in strength, but for now, I should make a few plans.'

Right now I'm currently using one of my days off the training schedule as time to practise my kunai proficiency as well as my shuriken proficiency. The main reason for this is as it's necessary for graduating early and it's an essential skill all shinobi's have.

I wont always have a sword on hand unless I make a storage seal on my hand which I wont ask till I'm older so I must master other things.

A backup for the backup.

I must never underestimate my opponents. If they are alive that means they know how to survive in harsh conditions either by getting by with luck or skill it doesn't matter.

Be careful of old men in a job where people die young.

I've been training my Shuriken and Kunai proficiency for two months now and I'm getting the hang of it slowly but surely. I'm just trying to get the aim right before I start using swift release to enhance my arm to deal massive amounts of damage at fast speeds.

Speaking of Swift Release my chakra control exercises from a young age has helped me a lot so far, I've been able to reach high academy level chakra reserves so far from what Kakashi told me. With amount of reserves it's quite unfortunate.

The kekkei genkai takes up too much chakra, on top of my chakra control not being enough. Making it harder to master and taking up excess chakra making it inefficient.

Going back to the white line Kakashi made as a reference to how far I am, I proceed to throw another kunai.

"Thump!" The kunai bouncing off makes a small little hole where it almost pierces.

"Nice!" I say out loud seeing visible progress with sweat trickling down my face.

Thinking about plans though I want to make a business or get one from Danzo and grow it, the reason for this is that I want to take over the land of waves after Naruto gets the bridge named after himself.

The reason I don't want it now or before Naruto Bridge is named is that I want to take over Gato's Shipping business and make connections with the outside world without them knowing that my business is from Konoha so at any time if I supply things like essential pills, sealing scrolls or any other product.

In war, I could cut off their supply with a single command.

Well...

I'm exaggerating here but you get the point, they lose an "important" supplier.

I just don't know how much I'll invest into it as I can just steal Gato's money and make do with his initial riches.

Plus I get richer so I don't see the problem here, but for now, I will ask Danzo when I either get old enough or get Chunin to receive the ownership of an existing business he has. I'm sure he has quite a lot.

I mean the man is currently in the weapon business, land ownership, food supplier, sells loads of clothes and much more to my knowledge.

After another 20 seconds of getting my kunai's back, I get behind the line.

'No wonder he has so much influence.'

"Thump...thump."

If he stopped supplying food or weapons that's like a quarter of Konoha fucked as they probably won't be able to buy it somewhere else with a cheaper price.

"Thump!"

Yes, I have noticed that Danzo acts a little like a saint to get the Civilian's love which is honestly smart. The only reason he didn't become Hokage in the future is because Tsunade's fame and background far surpass his fame and importance.

Thinking about it Asuma could of had Tsunade's status as a princess, or in this case a prince if he was a prodigy like her. While obviously not as influential, still more than what ever he was before.

With two kunai left, I positioned myself as how Kakashi taught me when I was still one and perfectly threw the kunai.

Mid-air as the kunai whistles through the air I suck in a breath as I watch it directly go for the middle of the target.

"Thump!" The kunai makes a thumping noise after it perfectly hits the middle of the target piercing the wood.

"Let's go!" I shout out loud falling down due to exhaustion.

"I guess life ain't all bad right now," I say to myself as I hear a voice behind me.

"Raiden it's time to eat, go back while I clean up here." Bird says as she tidies up the place.

Grinning I start to drag myself to the living room to eat some Tamago Kake Gohan.

A dish with a fancy omelette, rice and an egg with a runny yolk on top that when tapped spreads to the rice making a tasty flavour!

'Maybe I should try cooking some dishes from my own world. It would sell well like pizza.' I think to myself chewing on some rice.

[Time Skip - 2 Years]

On top of some flat grassy terrain can be seen two people exchanging blows. One of them is using a kunai with white gravity-defying hair and the other person has a ninjato with green hair and a way shorter frame.

The air rippling with every slash taken as an eerie silence took place in the forest afterwards. This was a testament to the growing stealth skills as silent footsteps sprinted forward to attack.

The green haired brat (me) who is currently on the offense is pushing Kakashi back as he goes in for a slash at my head which messed up my momentum.

Reacting as fast as I could, my body crouches down with my hands touching the grass. Seeing myself being prone to an attack, I back up a little.

Kakashi kicks right away, misses and also takes a step back.

"Hah!" I shout as I go with a side slice with Kakashi swiftly deflecting my hit.

Using my momentum to counter attack I dash forward exchanging a fluid motion of weapon clashes between Kakashi and I with Kakashi cleanly parrying my hits as he dances around me.

*Clang...clang....clang!* After a few more exchanges my hits start to waver as Kakashi finds an opening and kicks my side.

Trying to block I send my left arm to the side I proceed to get sent a few metres away as I try to defend from the two kunai thrown at me.

Dodging the first kunai thrown I quickly deflected the second as I parried a slash from Kakashi right after.

"You're getting better at this, your battle prowess is able to match a newly graduated student." Kakashi says praising me as he faints an overhead slash, booting me on the left side of my body for the second time which sends me towards a tree.

"Ugh, I'm gonna get you back for that." I groan out after I impact the tree shortly. A few seconds later I drop my ninjato in pain.

Kakashi seeing my state starts to walk towards me with his book now on hand flipping over some pages.

"Your impressive coordination for your age is really saving you. But you need to learn more katas other than what you have. Not enough offense. Blah blah blah, blah blah." Kakashi says telling me about my mistake in those last few exchanges.

Regaining myself after a minutes rest I pick up my sword and walk towards the lake to drench my face after a good spar.

*Splash!*

Looking at my reflection of the water you could see a little boy with a cute and diamond shaped face. My green hair glistening in the sunlight with my green eyes starting to shine.

With my body right now you would guess that I was actually a five year old in body size but other than that my baby fat sems to be going away as I'm growing quite a few muscles I assume due to my chakra enhancing me as I produce more chakra.

My age currently was four.

Smiling at my reflection I start to head back home.

Today I'm going to be attending Hinata's birthday with Danzo and will be trying to make some "Connections" as Danzo always says. It's towards the end of the year now December, unfortunately I haven't gone to many birthdays of others.

Simply because they don't matter.

'To Danzo at least.'

Ino-Shika-Cho, meh

Aburame meh

Uchiha? Fuck them I suppose...

The Hyuga is a bit different though.

Their clan is a bit more politically savvy than the other shinobi clans because of how reserved they are overall. Plus the added benefit of every member of the clan owning the kekkei genkai makes them the best sensors in the world.

A bit of an advantage in the battlefield.

Never need to fear a sneak attack with a Hyuga with you.

Overall boosting their value a little less valuable than the Uchiha with their supporting abilities on paper.

"A favour goes a long way." a sentence Danzo said to me on my fourth birthday a few months ago now.

Still it's a shame I wont be able to practice swift release till I have high Chunin reserves in my opinion.

It's a hard kekkei genkai to train as I need to use it multiple times to train. But I can't get used to it if I run out of chakra in just a couple of seconds of trying.

Eventually, though I will master it if I improve my chakra control enough with my reserves growing.

I've spent most of my extra time hanging out with random kids at the park and occasionally meeting a quiet Hinata.

Other than playing games that improved my stamina, it was just simple talk.

They were all related to shinobi in one way or another but not a clan.

After a few hours, I get back home and start to prepare to go to Hinata's party after relaxing my aching muscles.

Kakashi's training is absolutely brutal.

Over the years I've realised he doesn't know how to teach someone from scratch. But only people around the Chunin level like in ANBU. Which makes more sense because in Cannon he wasn't teaching shit.

Talking about training, my skills have improved quite significantly which I am quite happy about.

My Shuriken and Kunai proficiency has improved to where I can hit a still target from around 10 metres away. Using intuition being older, my chances of hitting a moving target is about 50% give or take.

Kenjutsu is now usable in combat and I've perfected my stances.

Finishing up my preparations for the party I grab a box from the table in my room.

That box currently contains Hinata's gift that I made for her.

A purple scarf.

I kind of stole the idea from Naruto but we don't talk about that right now.

I made it myself with the extra time I had as I basically had four days of pure rest every week for two years. So as a temporary hobby I started knitting which I hope Hinata will like the gift.

The reason why knitting is a temporary hobby is because I've decided to make a few food shops in the village in the future which includes a pizzeria.

When I'm older I'll try to give cooking a try as I want to make it so my future friends smile when eating my food. Kind of like how one of my bros did back in my past life when he made lasagna for the boys.

Eating together is a good way to connect with a group and if you add great food it adds to the experience.
