Force Battle Spear

In the weapons section were all sorts of weapons lined in racks, swords, sabers, blades, halberds, axes, gauntlets, spears, photon shields, energy laser guns, force field battle armors and even all sorts of unconventional weapons with also descriptions of the weapons.

But most of the weapons were cold weapons.

The giants wasn't a most technological advanced civilization nor overly technological reliant still technology was still well developed.

Nevertheless their powerful physiques and spirit made some technological endeavors or equipments quite unnecessary and redundant.

Hence giants generally preferred cold battle weapons.

Of course this was not to be generalized, but for most giants why shoot lazers or guns when your fists could do better.

Weapons generally were ranked according to stars, and each star level corresponding with a cultivation ranks.

A first star weapon's might could be fully unleashed by first rank or stronger realm cultivators, a second star rank weapon's might could only be fully unleashed by second rank or stronger realm cultivators, and so on.

And across the Universe, weapons classification could differ but they were mainly 6 ranking levels.

Looking through, some weapons had elemental affinity so Michael couldn't choose them since he didn't have an elemental affinity.

All sorts of interesting weapons with impressing abilities and wondrous effects, obviously the weapons Az prepared for his descendants were all good with the highest reaching 3 stars.

As the same with Cultivation and battle techniques, the highest he saw was the third rank, corresponding to the Unity Force realm.

Few people unless with opportunity or belonging to core of various organizations could have access to resources like this easily.

Weapons and techniques were expensive and precious, people scrambled, fought, killed or even died to own one.

Some cultivators couldn't even afford or procure weapons or techniques suited to their realms, with some using lower rank ones.

Each weapon or technique in this study, even of the same rank was the creame of the crop.

And this wasn't the limits of his Father's collection, as Fifth realm Powerhouse especially one of his Father's prestige, status and wealth certain had more.

One had to know, Az ruled an entire planet!

Although all princes were subject to the Imperial rule, there was still great autonomy and power.

Unlike combat techniques he spent far lesser time before coming across a unique 3 star weapon he liked.

It was a heavy great spear made from barren planet core essence, named Force Battle Spear.

A barren planet was a star that birthed no life form, a desolate one

The spear, akin to broad sword fixed to slightly flexible spear shaft unlike conventional spear.

Black with silver force amplification runes etched around the spear, about 2 meters in height, it was huge, beautiful, and heavy!

But he didn't choose it for just beautiful aesthetics.

Made from a desolate planet essence, it wasn't attuned nor did it amplify elemental affinity, or really posses any specific effects or abilities.

It was simply lackluster, not possessing any advantage nor providing any benefit for it's user.

Just packed with force amplification runes, to others it could have been unnecessary and a bit not useful.

But Michael didn't care, for one he did not have an elemental affinity, something about the weapon drew him, and lacking of abilities and effects was lacking of requirements.

this unique 3 star weapon could be weilded by even a Birth realm giant ( first realm of Giant cultivation) like him.

After reading through the description and making his choice, he was desicisive, he bent to lift up the great spear, yet surprise flashed throughout his eyes as he struggled to pick up the spear.

Although he didn't know the limits of his strength, he knew a rough estimate his might!

Especially in terms of physicality, he had never unleashed his full strength.

Somehow no need to.

And although raw strength wasn't the only benchmark for battle power, he was really strong, far beyond what others thought or could discern, But he struggled to lift this weapon.

Yet behind, Az looking at Michael didn't feel any suprise at this.

This weapon was basic, not possessing complex intricacies or restrictions still there was a reason why it was graded 3 stars.

Only a third rank cultivator could posses enough force power or qi energy to lift this weapon with ease.

He estimated it weighed about a 1000 ton.

Not even genius Giants nor other races with powerful physiques in the Second rank could handle such cumbersome weapon.

Combined with no elemental affinity or specialized effects nor did it offer any tangible benefit to it's Wielder.

Apart from it's extremely heavy weight and force amplification runes, it was simply basic.

It's cons outweighed the pros, even giants of the third realm wouldn't chose it, and had stayed in his collection for a long while.

Yet in a short while another look of surprise flashed through Az's eyes.

Stiring up his potential Michael's arm bulged ferociously as he lifted the weapon slowly.

Viens snaked across his figure like ferocious traveling dragons, clearly carrying the weapon seemed to seriously strained him, yet he did.

Struggling hardly to move then he turned to his Father.

Already up from his feet due to the shock, Az nodded his head clearly to ok his choices, then Michael left the study with weapon and book in tow.

What sort of monster was this! Although a third realm powerhouses could achieve the same better easily and his son struggled, he could still lift the weapon.

This strength went even beyond giant capabilities.

Looking at the leaving figure clearly struggling to move yet still moving Az furrowed his brows in contemplation.

...

After leaving the study Michael went to the room to drop the weapon and combat technique, looking at his watch he discovered he had spent hours in the study, they had already arrived and the rest of family had already descended to the Fire Giant World.

After spending much time in the study and accomplishing the aurdous task of moving the weapon to his quarters, he planned to first eat before he went back to his quarters to familiarize himself with the combat technique and weapon.

The entire birthday celebration of his Imperial Grandfather was to span 60 days, before it got to the battle rankings of the royal descendants it would still take about 30th day , there was no rush so he wasn't in an hurry to descend.

It was his first time practicing a combat technique, he didn't know what to expect and he had to at familiarize himself with it beforehand, and just moving with the spear was difficult.

Michael knew he needed a lot of strength training and conditioning to be able to use it at all in battle.

...

The Entire Fire Giant World was bulkily the Imperial palace, Royal houses and various administrative palaces, homes of nobles officials with also various numerous cooperate buildings and other establishments within a city called king city.

The king city encircled the imperial palace and was billions of square meters, and as the center of prosperity of the Fire Giant race it boasted fairly large population of not only just Fire Giants but also a few numbers of other races and with the Imperial celebration it was even more vibrant.

King City

On a corner road of the king city not occupied by Royal houses but still quite developed, shuttle aircrafts moved across the sky, and different people bustled along, a large numbers in energy armours or robes with stalls displaying various items covered everywhere with various buildings.

The Fire Giant World had an very high fierce Fire giant blood energy im the atmosphere, those that couldn't bear it had to wear energy field armours or clothes to offset this burden.

This is why the Giant system was not as populated as other advanced civilizations.

Along the road an 7 and a half feet tall young half Giant strolled across with a slightly rusty broadsword fixed to a scabbard on his back.

his Giant ancestry was evident from his imposing Giant physique, but clearly showed other features.

Evident from the horns on his head, slightly greyish skin and the enclosed prong shaped tail, a Giant demon hybrid, sparing extra glances from a few passersbys.

he had an eye normal to abyss demon, pitch black but the eye had other reddish orange pupil unique to noble Fire giants, this was an abyss demon with half noble giant parentage.

The Fire giants and demons were enemies, it was unusual to find a descendant of both hence the extra gazes.

But as if not bothered by the occasional gazes , the young hybrid walked casually towards an Inn and entered.

Across king city all sorts of scene similar and dissimilar occurred, due to the Imperial celebrations and battle rankings they are was a larger influx of Powerhouses entering king city especially those of the young generation.

High tension and battle lust permeated the entire king city.
