Kill or be killed. Ambition and greed drove mankind to madness, the world drowning in war’s horrors. Violence, corruption, slavery — it never ends. Even in death, man keeps marching.
Yue knows this well. Once a bandit, now a soldier, she fights to end war. Her weapon? War itself.
Long ago, mankind called upon war in its thirst for power. The heavens turned away, but the bloodshed never stopped.
Born to a family of landless labourers, Yue belonged to the lowest rung of society. War reached her early — fire swallowing her home, her family reduced to ash. Only her sister survived.
Outcasts, they wandered until war claimed them again. Captured, dragged to the frontlines, they were thrown into a world where ambitious generals fed armies of hundreds of thousands into the flames.
Now, Yue fights not for glory — but to end it all. Even if it means becoming a monster herself.
The Narration is good and so is the story and the dialogues so far. The first chapter definitely caught my interest. I would like to see how this will progress further. Looks promising. Keep going Author. [img=nervous]
The chapter is quite amazing. Long since i read anything like this . The flow of things are quite good and it engages the reader very nicely . It was an easy read. Hope to see the new chapter drop soon. Keep up the work man.
Very noice . The ending part was quite well written. Will be waiting for next chapter . Not boys with trembling hands, but seasoned blades sharpened by years of blood and bone. This line explained the experience of the soldiers quite well
