Season 1: Rise of the Villain
Episode 5: A Lesson in Pain
Betrayal wasn't just an act—it was a disease that spread through the underworld like a plague. Someone within the Black Vultures had sold Damien out to the Crimson Serpents, and he was going to rip them apart piece by piece.
He started with the lowest ranks, interrogating street-level enforcers, breaking bones, slicing skin, burning flesh—until one finally cracked.
"It was Marco…" the man whimpered.
Marco. One of Salazar's trusted lieutenants. A man Damien had fought beside, killed beside. A brother in blood.
That same night, Damien found Marco drinking in an exclusive club, laughing as if he hadn't just signed a death sentence. Damien didn't make a scene. He simply walked up, sat across from him, and whispered, "You should have run."
Marco barely had time to react before Damien dragged him out back. No witnesses. No escape. Just two men in a dark alley, but only one would walk away.
Damien didn't kill him quickly. He made Marco understand what it meant to betray him.
By the time it was over, Marco was barely breathing, his face unrecognizable. Damien crouched beside him, voice calm. "Who paid you?"
With his last breath, Marco choked out one name.
Salazar.
The man who had raised Damien. The man he had trusted.
Everything inside him turned to ice. If it was true, there was only one path forward.
Salazar had taught Damien everything he knew.
Now, Damien was going to teach him the price of betrayal.
