Episode 6: The Breaking Point

Season 1: Rise of the Villain

Episode 6: The Breaking Point

Damien sat in the dimly lit room of a rundown motel, his hands still stained with Marco's blood. The name echoed in his mind like a curse—Salazar. His mentor. His savior. The man who had shaped him into what he was today. Could it really be true?

He lit a cigarette, inhaling deeply, trying to suppress the burning rage inside him. The underworld thrived on deception, and trust was nothing more than an illusion. But if Salazar had really betrayed him, then there was no turning back.

He needed proof.

Damien had spent years watching and learning, understanding how the Black Vultures operated. He knew Salazar's routines, his allies, and—more importantly—his weaknesses. If Salazar had set him up, there had to be a reason. Power, control, fear… Damien needed to find out which one.

Under the cover of darkness, he made his way to one of the Vultures' safe houses, a heavily guarded estate on the outskirts of Blackhaven. He knew the security patterns, the blind spots, and how to get inside without being detected.

Slipping past the guards, he entered through the back, moving like a ghost. Inside, the house was silent, but he could hear voices from the study. He crept closer, pressing himself against the wall, listening.

"…he's becoming a problem, Salazar."

That voice. It belonged to Vincent, another high-ranking member of the Vultures.

Salazar's voice followed, calm but firm. "Damien has always been a weapon, nothing more. But weapons need to be controlled. He's too ambitious, too dangerous. If we don't handle him now, he'll turn on us."

Damien's grip tightened on the knife in his hand. Every word was a blade slicing into him.

Vincent scoffed. "So, what's the plan? You already sent Marco to kill him, and that failed."

Salazar sighed. "That was just a test. If he survived, it meant he was strong enough. Now, he's angry. He'll come looking for answers. And when he does… we'll put him down like a rabid dog."

A cold, eerie silence filled the air.

Damien felt something inside him snap. All these years, he had fought, killed, and bled for the Vultures, for Salazar. And to them, he was nothing more than a tool to be discarded.

He wanted to burst in and slit Salazar's throat right then and there. But no. That was too easy. Too quick. Salazar had built an empire of fear. Damien was going to tear it down, brick by brick.

He slipped out the way he came, his mind already crafting his next move. He needed allies, but more than that, he needed leverage. Salazar had enemies—rivals who wanted him dead. Damien was going to become the force that united them.

The Reaper wasn't just coming for revenge.

He was coming to take everything.
