She folded her hands as she stared at him, eyes thin and concentrated. "Do you send that to Kozette?"
Logan's brows furrowed tightly as he stared at her, "Send what?" He asked.
"The video. Don't act like you don't know, Logan. I don't need your help." She snapped.
"I know you don't and that's why I've done nothing up till now. Besides, my plans are being suffocated to death." He whispered the other sentence under his breath and her lashes moved.
"What...plans?" She asked.
"If they didn't work, you don't have to know." He replied, "However, I don't know what you are talking about. I don't know what happened to Kozette." He said.
She stared at him, feeling unconvinced. Logan was not the type of person.....No, she didn't even know who he was. Not her, not Hallie and it was worse to know that Hallie had disappeared. Like, why would she disappear from her own body?
"I swear, if you do anything to disrupt my plans-"
"I won't intervene, Edna. But sooner or later, you would realize you practically need me."
"I won't," She shot, anger filling her veins instantly. Logan's brows moved higher. "I plan to put you in prison. Just like the others."
"You should do what they did to you. The only thing that can catch up with me is death. Prison has nothing on any of us, Edna. Maybe you didn't know."
"Yes, I didn't. I didn't think you'd be invisible to the law. But thank you for telling me, it just made me have a wider idea and ....evil." She said and turned, walking away from him.
Logan stared at her, pocketing his hands slowly. "So they just had to push your buttons." He muttered underneath his breath as he watched her leave him.

"Alright, very soon, they'll be a trip for members of this class." Jessica said and everyone started saying something.
"Why do we have to go on a trip?" Marlo asked.
"Because this class is for the elite. That's it. Your parents have made all these available -"
"A trip? Seriously, do you guys think that is what we need right now?" Hallie shot and th whole class turned to her.
"The trip makes you guys calm and composed." Jessica replied.
Hallie hit her hand on the table hardly, her fingers trembling as she got up to her feet. "Calm? Composed? The fvck. Guys, someone was murdered!"
"Hallie!" Gary stood up immediately, rushing to her.
Others eyes turned to Jerald. Somehow, he didn't look shocked.
"Y'all think Jerald is stupid?" She asked.
"No. We think you are stupid." Noel got up from his seat. "You keep on saying it like we were the one who pushed her down the window. We didn't. You did. Hallie, you were the one who killed Edna."
Jerald's eyes moved towards Hallie and she gulped.
"You are the one who is meant to keep this secret the most." Noel added.
"Don't say it like you all didn't keep this secret."
"So do you want to report it?" Marlo asked.
"Stop talking to her like that." Gary shot.
"No, we need to let her know the truth. She was the one who pushed Edna down the window. Not us. Why do we have to be scared of her punishment?" Marlo looked back at Hallie. "But you don't have to be scared, Hallie. None of us are going to talk about this. We know that if you and Logan goes down, we go down too." He said.
Her heart beat rapidly in her chest and for the first time, she found out that it was easier finding secrets in the team but it was the place she couldn't work the most.
"Why don't we go to England?" She asked, her mouth tasting sour.
"Your father proposed that too. He said you have a new movie to act there."
Well, she never heard of that.
She gritted her teeth, giving out a forced smile as her legs trembled. Gary caught her immediately, holding her by the arms, his eye displaying worry.
"Hallie, are you okay?" He asked worriedly and she let out a shaky breath.
"I'll take care of her." Logan suddenly stood up from his chair, his eyes fierce as he walked towards them, picking her bag.
"She's my sister." Gary shot.
Logan's eyes moved ever so slowly and he stared at Gary calmly. "So?"
Gary blinked.
"Hallie, did you-"
"Do you want to go with me or Gary?" Logan asked and everyone stared at Hallie, waiting for her choice. Hallie was a person who loved attention and everyone knew.
"Isn't it safe?" Logan's lips brushed her ear as he whispered, "I'm the only one who really knows what's going on in your head." His eyes locked with her and she bit her inner lips tightly, drawing out blood before she knew it. Only the taste introduced itself to her.
She pulled her arm slowly from Gary. "I'll go with Logan. Let's meet at home."
"Hallie, are you alright?" Gary asked, shocked to the point of stupidity. Why would she choose Logan over him when she clearly didn't want to have anything to do with him?
"I'm fine. Come home early." She muttered and walked out of the class.
"We'll see you at home." Logan said to him and walked out after her.
"Well, your parents already paid for the trip, so do well to get ready. Jerald, are you going on the trip with them?" Jessica asked.
"If my parents didn't pay for it, I can pay for myself." Jerald replied.
"We didn't tell them." Jessica replied and he scoffed lightly.
"It's very clear you do not want me to be a part of this." He said.
"It's clear that we do not trust you." Noel shot.
"Of course, you shouldn't. You should be scared. You don't know when I'll use this against each and every one of you. You dared to kill Edna, it's something you would pay for." He said and grabbed his backpack, marching out of the classroom.
