You're safe now

Sensing the frantic banging on the door, Dante swiftly emerged from his shower, his senses on high alert. He checked the hallway, but there was no one in sight. Only moments before, he had been settling into his chair, preparing to dive into a game-changing deal that was set to take place after this outing. But now, something felt off.

Then, he heard it. The unmistakable sound of glass shattering, followed by loud bang. Something crashing against the wall, a frantic noise coming from next door. His pulse quickened. Without thinking, he jumped to his feet and rushed toward room 4002, pounding on the door.

"Hel—" was all he managed to hear through the thin walls before the noise abruptly ceased. Silence. Then nothing. His heart raced in his chest as he struggled to break the door open.

In desperation, Dante darted toward the balcony. He didn't waste time—he vaulted over the ledge, landing with practiced grace in the neighboring room. He moved swiftly to the balcony door of room 4002, pushing against it with force.

And there she was - Aurora, bound and lying unconscious on the floor. A dark figure loomed over her, a knife gleaming in his hand, poised to strike.

Without hesitation, Dante shattered the door with a single, powerful kick. The moment the door splintered, the intruder glanced over his shoulder, his eyes widening in shock. Before he could make another move, the man bolted for the main door, his only option now to flee.

Dante wasn't about to let him escape. He charged after the man, determination blazing in his eyes. It took mere seconds, but when he finally caught up, he saw the face of the man from earlier that day, .....the same one who had been at the hotel, the one Aurora had unknowingly crossed paths with.

The man, in his mid-thirties, had managed to slip away from police custody, but Dante wouldn't let him get away again. The knife flashed dangerously in the dim light as the man swung wildly, but Dante was quick, blocking each strike with ease. With a swift motion, he landed a crushing blow to the man's face, sending him crashing to the ground, unconscious.

Dante wasted no time. He grabbed the knife from the man's hand, securing it before tying him up. He quickly called the hotel staff and manager, reporting the situation.

Once the situation was under control, Dante rushed back to Aurora's side. She was beginning to stir, her eyelids fluttering open as she regained consciousness.

He knelt beside her, relief flooding through him as he gently cupped her face, his voice soft but urgent. "You're safe now," he reassured her, his words almost a whisper. "The doctor's on the way." while he carefully untied her.
