Chapter 33: Bonus Chapter

The cold metallic chamber of the Saiyan space vessel hummed with energy, the command table surrounded by the elite warriors of the Saiyan Empire. Raditz stood with arms crossed, his scouter blinking as he scanned the data flickering before him.

"Earth, huh..." Raditz muttered, his voice laced with disdain. "Backwater planet, barely worth mentioning. But something's bothering me." Vegeta leaned back against the wall, his usual smugness evident in his posture.

Vegeta's eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke, "Out with it, Raditz. What's this really about?" Raditz tapped the side of his scouter, his expression turning serious.

"It's about Kakarot—my little brother. He was sent to that planet as a baby, low-class assignment. But according to the old mission logs... he never completed it. Earth still exists." Nappa's attention was caught, and he grunted in response.

Nappa's voice was laced with contempt, "So the brat failed his mission? Figures. Weaklings like that are better off dead." Raditz's eyes narrowed, his voice taking on a personal tone.

"Or maybe he got soft. It's been years. If he's alive... I want to know why he didn't follow his orders." Vegeta gave a low chuckle, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Maybe your brother turned into a pacifist. Wouldn't that be something?" Raditz ignored the jab, his focus on the mission at hand.

Raditz's voice turned cold, "There's more. I picked up faint power levels from Earth a while ago—strange ones. Not high, but not normal either. And there's talk of Dragon Balls. If it's true... they can grant any wish."

The room fell silent, the Saiyan warriors exchanging glances. Vegeta's eyes sharpened, his interest piqued.

"Any wish...?" Vegeta repeated, his voice laced with excitement. Nappa grinned, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"Immortality, power, riches—we could have it all." Vegeta pushed off the wall, stepping forward toward the projection of Earth.

"We go," Vegeta declared, his voice firm. "But not just for the wish or to babysit your brother, Raditz. If Kakarot's still alive... he'll either join us—or die."

Raditz smirked, his eyes locked on the holographic image of Earth. "That's all I needed to hear." Vegeta pointed at the map, his voice cold and calculated.

"We'll land in separate pods. Raditz, you go first. Feel him out. If he resists—kill him. If he's strong, we'll see for ourselves." Nappa cracked his knuckles, his voice dripping with anticipation.

"And then we take the Dragon Balls." Vegeta's gaze turned cold, his eyes burning with ambition.

"Earth won't know what hit it." The Saiyan pods began powering up, their engines humming with energy. Raditz stared at the rotating Earth, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Kakarot... you better not have gone soft."

The cold, gleaming halls of Frieza's flagship were shrouded in silence, the only sound the soft hum of scouters and the clicking of elite Frieza Force officers typing away.

Frieza lounged on his floating hoverchair, his tail curled around the side, sipping wine from a crystalline glass. His red eyes scanned the glowing holographic report projected before him, a look of amusement dancing on his face.

"Hmm... Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz. Planning to invade a little planet called Earth..." Frieza mused aloud, his voice calm and elegant, yet dripping with venom.

Frieza's eyes narrowed as he read further, his interest piqued. "And what's this? Dragon Balls that can grant any wish?" He let out a low, amused chuckle.

"How delightfully foolish. They think they can scheme behind my back?" Frieza's glass tilted slightly as he read on, his eyes gleaming with intrigue.

"Vegeta must really believe he's clever." A trembling officer spoke up, bowing low. "S-sire, should we mobilize a strike team? We can intercept the Saiyans immediately—"

Frieza raised a single finger, and the officer instantly fell silent. "No, no... let them have their little adventure," Frieza said with a wicked grin.

"Let the monkeys run wild, chasing their wishful fantasies. The idea of them scrambling for power, thinking they're one step ahead of me—it's adorable." Frieza leaned forward, his eyes glowing with excitement.

"If the Dragon Balls truly work... they'll gather them. And then, when they believe they've won, when hope fills their little monkey hearts..." Frieza's voice dropped to a chilling whisper.

"...I'll take everything from them." The room fell completely silent, the officers exchanging nervous glances.

Frieza leaned back in his chair, swirling his wine. "Let them play their game. I'll make my move when the prize is ripe. Besides," he added with a smirk.

"I do enjoy watching Saiyans suffer." Frieza turned away from the report, staring out the window of his ship, where distant stars shimmered like jewels in the void.

"Earth... such a curious little planet. Let's see what secrets you're hiding." Frieza's eyes gleamed with anticipation, his mind already spinning with schemes and strategies...
