Man On The Scene: What A Weak God!

Thor ignored Magneto's overwhelming presence and charged toward him. This scene shocked everyone.

Magneto's power was evident to all. The weapons in their hands were completely ineffective against him. He could control all metal objects, and in this steel city, he could be considered a god. No! He was stronger than a god. Gods were just mythical figures, but Magneto, the terrifying mutant, truly existed.

"Lock him down and gather all his information!" Phil Coulson immediately ordered. "Also, find anything related to the Meow Meow Hammer. Search the internet for similar terms—I need to know what that strange hammer is."

Seeing Thor appear, Coulson instantly ordered the retrieval of the database. He subconsciously believed this person was no mere mortal. After all, who but someone extraordinary would dare challenge Magneto?

Eric, Magneto, also glanced at Thor and then turned his attention away. He controlled Mjolnir to move in front of his body, but when he reached out, he found that Mjolnir couldn't be picked up.

He looked at Thor again. "Who are you? You say this is your Meow Hammer? What is that?"

"I am Thor, son of Odin, the mightiest warrior of Asgard, Thor of the Thunder!" Thor declared boldly. "This is mine—Mjolnir! Return it to me at once, or you will face the wrath of the gods!"

Thor stepped forward, brimming with confidence, determined to reclaim his hammer.

"Thor? Odin? Mjolnir?" Eric raised an eyebrow, disbelief flashing in his eyes. "Do you think I'm a child? How dare you use myths to deceive me!"

"Very well," Eric sneered. "You say this is your hammer? Try lifting it, and let's see what happens."

Eric believed that mutants were the next stage of human evolution—a gloriously superior race. The power he wielded gave him the belief that he was a god. Hearing someone threaten him like an insect was an insult to his very being.

With a smirk, he summoned Mjolnir closer to Thor and beckoned him to try lifting it.

Thor, unwavering, approached Mjolnir with complete certainty. Just as he reached it, the clear sky suddenly darkened, and lightning began to coil within the clouds.

This caught Eric off guard. Could it be that the man before him truly was Thor?

Though the conversation between the two was not audible to everyone, Thor's confident demeanor and Eric's growing irritation made it clear that something had shifted.

As thunder rumbled, Thor placed his hand on the hammer's handle, staring defiantly at Eric. He pulled, but Mjolnir remained still.

Thor's brow furrowed in confusion. "It's just been a while since I've held it. Maybe it's a little shy? It will recognize me soon enough."

He tried again, but Mjolnir refused to move. Thor's frustration mounted.

"Very well, then," Eric sneered, drawing countless steel bars from the environment, forming them into sharp arrows aimed at Thor. He was ready to strike.

Thor ignored Magneto's actions, kneeling in desperation, staring at the sky in silence.

Suddenly, a burst of light descended from the Bifrost.

"It's my father! He hasn't abandoned me!" Thor's eyes lit up with hope.

Eric, startled, hesitated, his concentration faltering for a moment. Could Odin really be appearing?

"Sir, the energy levels are off the charts. We can't even detect the source," reported Phil Coulson's subordinate.

"What's the source?" Coulson asked.

"We can't pinpoint it. The energy signature exceeds what our satellites can detect. It's beyond human technology!"

Coulson, though exhausted from the day's strange events, sighed deeply.

Thor, still hopeful, was disappointed when the light revealed not Odin but Sif and the Warriors Three. Though not the father he hoped for, Thor was glad to see his friends.

"Thor!" Sif cried as they ran to him.

But they quickly assumed defensive stances when they saw the steel arrows pointing at Thor.

"Is he an enemy?" one of them asked.

Sif and the others drew their weapons, standing before Thor, ready to defend him at all costs.

"He has my hammer. No, not just lifting it but using some unknown ability to control it," Thor explained. "But he doesn't possess Mjolnir's true power."

They continued to discuss Magneto's actions, unaware that Loki had seized control of Asgard in Odin's absence.

Meanwhile, Vostagg, holding his battle-axe, warned Magneto, "Return Thor's hammer, or you will face the consequences!"

Magneto's anger grew. He found their arrogance insufferable. How dare they look down on him like this? He, the leader of mutants, would show them their place.

He raised his hand, and the metal gathered around him formed into a massive spear. He aimed it directly at the warriors, unleashing it with terrifying speed.

"Protect Thor!" Sif shouted, raising her shield.

The warriors quickly defended themselves, though Magneto's assault was relentless. The sheer power of the steel projectiles sent them retreating. Even Sif, with her shield, could barely withstand the onslaught.

Thor, observing the situation, finally admitted, "This Midgard man is strong, perhaps the most powerful here. But compared to me with Mjolnir, he still falls short!"

"Where is Aaron?" Thor asked. "He could help us with this!"

"Aaron is on his way," Fandral responded. "He's holding back Loki to prevent other nations from exploiting the situation."

Just as Magneto's attack reached its peak, the energy shield that had appeared around the warriors activated, deflecting Magneto's powerful strike. The shield, though not indestructible, absorbed the brunt of the attack, leaving them unharmed for the moment.

Magneto, in disbelief, scowled. "What is this? More strange abilities from you people."

As the battle raged on, Magneto prepared to strike again, his frustration mounting. He believed himself to be invincible, the true god of this world.

Then, another golden light appeared.

"Again? Who now?" Magneto sneered.

Thor and Sif looked at each other in anticipation. "It must be Aaron!" Thor exclaimed.

"Who is this Aaron?" Magneto scoffed.

Sif, unperturbed, continued, "He is the god of magic, chosen by Odin. He is the one who defeated the Vanir and slew Lauf, the leader of the titans."

Magneto sneered, not believing in any of their gods. "This world's gods are nothing more than fairy tales for children."

But as Sif spoke of Aaron's feats, Magneto began to doubt. Could this god of magic truly be as powerful as they claimed?

And then, Aaron stepped forth from the golden light, his presence commanding attention.

Upon seeing Thor bound and Magneto nearby, Aaron sighed, his expression unreadable. He approached without speaking, raising his hand.

Ice-blue magic swirled around the group. In an instant, all metal around them was transformed into solid ice, rendering Magneto's control useless.

Magneto's eyes widened in disbelief. "What?! I can't control it! Has the metal been turned into something else?"

Aaron's calm demeanor spoke volumes as he stood ready to face Magneto, the battle far from over.
