Aaron: How Do You Feel Now?

"You're here at last, Aaron!"

"I knew you would come!"

After releasing the restraint, Thor smiled and said.

Aaron, lazily, responded, "You can still laugh? You've been beaten into this state. If people in Asgard find out, I don't know how they'll talk about the 'invincible' Prince Thor."

Thor's smile froze, and he leaned closer, whispering, "You know this, I know they know it. It's better not to tell anyone else."

"Do you think you can hide it?" Aaron glanced at him helplessly. "Why do you think I came down? It's because someone from Midgard picked up Mjolnir. I'm afraid Heimdall has already reported your situation to the Queen of Heaven by now."

"And..."

"Do you think the people here are blind? Wake up!"

Thor glanced around, his expression suddenly paling.

Thor ruthlessly added, "This was an accident. When I get my hands on Mjolnir, I'll make sure I beat him so hard that he won't even recognize himself!"

"I promise!"

"Maybe?"

Aaron silently compared the strength of Thor and Magneto, unsure of the outcome.

In some ways, Magneto overpowers Thor, especially since Thor had already been defeated.

Perhaps Thor can only suppress Magneto at close range, relying on his physical strength, which rivals that of Hulk?

"You doubt my strength?" Thor eagerly noticed the hesitation in Aaron's tone. "I will prove to you that I am still the invincible Thor!"

"Didn't you say you were going to use astral projection to come to Midgard? Why does it look like you came down in person?"

At this point, Sif noticed Aaron's physical state. While it felt solid, it was clearly not a spiritual form.

"I thought so too, but your situation just now..." Aaron shrugged helplessly.

On one hand, time was running out, and on the other, the plot had shifted. To be safe, Aaron had no choice but to appear fully in his physical form to ensure he had enough strength to deal with any possible butterfly effects.

Oh no, the butterfly effect shouldn't be mentioned here.

The appearance of Magneto can't be explained by it.

Vostagg and the others awkwardly covered their heads, laughing without saying a word.

They never expected the Midgard people, once so weak they needed Asgard's protection, to now be so strong.

The strange ability that seemed to manipulate metal had caught them off guard.

If they had known this, they would never have fought against him while wearing battle armor.

"Enough talk! These young people today are more arrogant than ever!"

Seeing that Aaron was ignoring him, Eric couldn't suppress the anger building inside him.

What a hell of a day!

One after another, they dare to ignore me!

It seems what I did before wasn't cruel enough!

"Young man? Sure, I'm a young man."

Aaron said without hesitation.

By Asgardian standards, he was only 20 years old if converted to Earth's age, which fits the definition of a young man perfectly.

"A thousand-year-old young man? Aaron, I didn't expect you to become more shameless." Sif rolled her eyes and complained.

"In front of Thor, I'm definitely a young man," Aaron said seriously.

Thor's eyes twitched slightly. So this reflects that I'm a 1,500-year-old guy, huh?

I'm clearly in my prime!

"Damn it, you're courting death!"

Eric snapped.

These guys were talking nonsense in front of him. Asgardians, Thor Odinsson, the god of magic… all laughing at him?

Angered, Eric manipulated the scattered metal around him, sending it flying like a barrage of arrows at them.

Sif and the others quickly shielded Thor, raising their weapons to defend against the incoming attack.

But Aaron didn't even flinch. A massive wave of ice-blue magic spread out, filling the surrounding area in an instant.

All the attacks disintegrated at an astonishing speed and turned to dust, scattering to the ground.

Aaron's magic was stronger now! Was this a new kind of magic? Thor asked curiously.

"I don't know, but it should be the magic taught by the Queen of the Heavens. But I haven't seen her or Loki use it," Sif replied, still puzzled, as she had paid little attention to magic before Aaron learned it.

"Hey, can't you see Aaron's magic has changed color? It was golden before, but now it's ice blue," Fandral pointed out.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"This feels familiar," Thor mused. "It's like facing a Frost Titan."

"Casket of Ancient Winters!"

When they heard the words, everyone suddenly understood.

Aaron nodded in acknowledgment.

While he could convert Energy Absorption into his own energy, the magic's color came from the energy absorbed by the Casket of Ancient Winters.

Eric's pupils shrank.

"What is this weird ability?"

"No! That's not it!"

Eric realized that despite his increased control, the fine particles of metal were still hard to manipulate. The material wasn't pure anymore; it had integrated with other components, complicating his ability to control it.

"This ability is nice, but... if that's all you've got, it's over!"

Eric was confident.

But as the battle progressed, Aaron didn't seem worried at all.

Magneto's variant Ability was powerful but limited—only manipulating metal. Aaron's molecular rearrangement could control the human body.

Still, Magneto had resistance to magic, which gave him some advantage.

Aaron quickly controlled his magic, sending it towards Magneto, who swiftly took to the air to attack remotely.

"The so-called gods are nothing more than that!" Eric said proudly.

Aaron nearly laughed out loud.

Was Magneto really mocking gods when he barely understood them?

Though recognized by Odin as the god of magic, Aaron still thought of himself as human—just a magician with extraordinary power.

As for gods, they're not all equal. Weak gods are no different than ants before stronger ones.

When it came to facing Magneto, Aaron had no problem. He could easily defeat him.

"You're really confident in your strength!" Eric sneered. "But you don't know the true power of a god!"

Aaron lifted off the ground, using Psychokinesis to rise straight into the air.

Magneto, relying on magnetic discs for flight, watched in confusion.

"Another mutant Ability?" Eric wondered. "Could it be a derivative Ability of some sort?"

Eric immediately became cautious.

For ordinary mutants, only one variant Ability emerged upon Awakening. But some lucky ones had secondary mutations, like the White Queen with both diamondization and telepathy.

Aaron's abilities were puzzling, but Eric's curiosity grew.

"Yes, you're very capable. I'm impressed," Eric said with a grin. "I'll give you another chance to join the mutant family, fight for a new future, and become the king of the world!"

Eric spread his hands, trying to showcase his strength.

However, the others, including Aaron, just looked at him as if he were "stupid."

As masters of the Nine Realms, why would they leave their glory to join a Midgardian in a fight?

"Your eyes... I hate them!" Eric snapped.

"Are all Midgardians this arrogant? You're more stupid than the dumbest titan!" Thor whispered.

Aaron glanced at Thor. In terms of ego, Thor was second only to himself.

Magneto might be ignorant, but Thor lacked common sense.

Eric took a deep breath. He was about to snap.

"Shut up! You idiot, liar, megalomaniac!" Eric lashed out, turning his fury on Thor.

Thor blinked in confusion. "Is it me?"

Fandral nodded. "Yes, it's you!"

Thor:

"Magneto, stop being distracted. Let me show you how it's done." Aaron said casually.

For him, Magneto was just entertainment.

Eric, realizing the gravity of the situation, hastily tried to manipulate nearby metals again.

However, without warning, endless phantom creations appeared behind Aaron, controlled by his thoughts. They rushed at Magneto, just like the endless golden glitter from an anime.

Aaron's illusions were not mystical; they were mere weapons of endless quantity, a product of his boundless energy.

The barrage of attacks overwhelmed Magneto, forcing him to dodge awkwardly.

Aaron was bored. "Not enough? I haven't had enough fun yet."

Magneto's Ability was strong but too limited. He could only manipulate metal, and Aaron could easily counter him.

Eric, realizing he was running low on energy, began to retreat.

"You want to run? Did I agree?" Aaron frowned.

Eric found the metal plate under him crumbling as an inexplicable force dragged him downward.

"Impossible! You control metal too?" Eric was stunned.

"In a way, yes," Aaron nodded, knowing that his Psychokinesis gave him control, but it couldn't be as nuanced as Magneto's ability.

Eric fought desperately to regain control, but Aaron, relentless, continued to push.

As Eric tried to escape, the sky shifted, and a transparent high wall rose around him, trapping him.

Aaron stepped on top of the diamond-like wall, floating effortlessly above Magneto. "How do you feel now?"
