DEATH COULDN’T KILL HIM—IT JUST GAVE HIM A NEW LIFE TO DESTROY.
Reo Carter was a name that made even the hardest killers shudder. A perfect hitman—no hesitation, no mercy. Until his own crew turned on him, leaving him bleeding out in a pile of bodies that used to be his enemies.
But fate wasn’t done with him.
He wakes up in a world of nobility, magic, and honor duels—trapped in the body of Leonhardt Caulem, the weakest, most useless son of Duke Caulem. A spoiled brat with no skill, no spine, and a reputation so pathetic that even servants look down on him.
They think he’s weak? They have no idea who they just brought back.
- Swords and magic? He spent his last life dodging bullets—this is child’s play.
- Dueling etiquette? A knife in the ribs is the only honor that matters.
- A noble’s life of luxury? He’s had enough backstabbing for one lifetime, thanks.
He was once a ghost in the underworld—a man who didn’t exist. Now, in a world where strength is everything, he’s about to remind them what true fear looks like.
The hitman is back. And this time, he’s aiming for something more.

Hello everyone, this is the author, and I’d like to clarify a few things: 1. There will be no harem, NTR, yaoi, or yuri in this story. 2. The female lead won’t appear for most of the book—possibly not until 75% into the story—but the plot revolves entirely around her. 3. There will be no R18 scenes. But full of voilence 4. Yandere characters will be present.
yo...I am curious about the gangsta, lemme join the gang.
If you're a wandering reader tired of all the smut-filled nonsense on Webnovel and happened to stumble across this story, wondering whether it's worth your time — let me help you out. The Positives: The story doesn’t waste time getting interesting. It hooks you fast and keeps you there. The writing quality is excellent. I didn’t spot any glaring mistakes or cringe-worthy flowery prose that kills the mood. The protagonist is engaging and behaves realistically, especially considering his background as a gangster in a past life. The update frequency is solid. There aren’t a ton of side characters yet, but the ones that are present have noticeable depth and purpose. Now, for the negatives: There aren’t many chapters out yet, so it's hard to judge thoroughly — and of course, everyone has their own opinions on what counts as a negative. That said, there’s one part I personally didn’t enjoy: when the protagonist meets the goddess. Her behavior felt off to me. She’s a divine being, not a child, so her characterization in that scene didn’t sit right. Aside from that, this story has a lot of potential. Author, keep up the great work. Don’t feel pressured — just stay consistent and please, finish this one before jumping into another project. I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to what’s next!
Alright this is one of those few times I have been itching to write a review for a novel. I planned on reading all free chapters before writing a review but I guess this novel showed me enough potential. I am not really an expert at this but I will try to write what I feel like and know. The best part of this story is MC's character writing. He is genuinely a neutral good person and at the same time merciless, cruel to his enemies. The Author really balanced it well. Many just ruins this by making either unreasonable too evil or too good. Sometimes they just create a dumb abomination of an MC. But here I really appreciated this MC character. I hope his character remain consistent. I believe character development is not changing one's character but expanding the "horizons" of one's view. Making them deal with questions/situations they never faced and trying to answer/deal with the situation while remaining the same. Imagine if instead they also changed the character's answer to one of his previous question/situation and his character is almost opposite of his original one. So, yes even if this is how I personally feel, I don't believe I am wrong so I hope author just won't change his MC due to those nosy readers who just wants a edgy cruel MC(yea they are too much to count). Anyways, I tried to write a review and wrote down what I found to be useful and know of. Other things like Plot, power system are solid and good which I could not find any true faults so I definitely recommend this gem. 👍 Hope we get a happy ending author. Have a good day and Happy Writing~
Personally, there's too much purple prose, but the story is good so it's still worth a try.
I enjoyed reading this alot and got really engrossed in it. I like that his doing this for Chloe but I hoped that he'd fall for rin and the maid also cause I enjoyed their characters so well out
One of the few new novels that truly deserves a five-star rating. ✔ Great writing ✔ Great MC ✔ Interesting story What I love most about this novel is the protagonist. He’s ruthless to his enemies but a genuinely decent person to those who deserve it. Many authors struggle to strike this balance, often making the MC seem like an indecisive child. But here, it’s executed perfectly, making for a refreshing and compelling read. keep up the good work author !
abaaa babieeeee hero is so cruel and dashing so, liked it i am psycho hehehehe...verkeney mava everyone try this book. absolutely recomended
Amazing work......the story and world building is unique and interesting.

Not ruthless enough, he, being a hitman, didn't even kill his stepmother, who is after his life, and his current body father, who turns a blind eye to it.
Alright, since I almost caught up with this novel, time to write another review!. Anyways, here are the details : • Pace - Definitely Perfect neither fast nor slow every scene, fights are explained correctly and power progression of MC is also good while keeping him "Overpowered" too but also showing his growth. • Fights- Check. Explained well, can be imagined well and not dragged out. • World Building - Maybe its just me but I don't remember Author explaining how the world is separated in details (ofc its possible that maybe I forgot/did not notice.) In any case these were the things I found important to write about and other factors are pretty much same so I don't feel the need to go to details for them. My verdict : Right now after 145 chapters the quality of story has not decreased at all and perhaps its getting even better. So do give it a try (I gave it 4.8 not 5 cause I could not read the distribution of how races are separated on territory bases or even if this world is a planet at all.) But I still enjoyed this novel A LOT. This webnovel is far better than many over rated novels (I wont mention them but know this that I had to go through so many novels to find this one so I am definitely not wrong in calling them over rated and this one under rated.)
Writing quality: 3/5 Story development: 4/5 Character design: 4/5 Update stability: 5/5 World bg: 4/5 It's an okay novel. Nowhere near as great as the reviews make it out. The writing started off strong and dropped in quality quite sharply and is as of the last free chapter only slightly above average for a novel on this platform. In the first few chapters, you learn that the mc should follow the system if he wants to find the person he's looking for but the system doesn't give any missions as of the free chapters. The mc and side characters are decebtly fleshed out, but the power scaling is all over the place. No idea what strengh actually means here. The dialoghes don't really grip me. I can see some signs of decent conversations from time to time but mostly it feels like drafts that were prematurely published, which in turn hurts the story development. This work could really use an editor. The author has a story to tell but can't seem to find the right words to deliver it in a manner that would really grip the readers. But that's how it usually goes on this platform. Editors are only something most authors think about once they've published hundreds of chapters and made a lot of money. The problem is, most readers (like me) won't really pay for a story that's still in the draft phase and so we see authors with dozens of novels published, all on hiatus or droped after they reach the low hundreds. This was more of a general rant, but i'm really sick and tired of losing so much time on these unedited novels. Anyway, good luck to you author and if you make it long enough to hire an editor, then i'll maybe take another look at your work.
