Bobby and Sophia's wedding was a huge event, a grand spectacle for Manhattan's upper class. Set in a majestic church adorned with white roses, soft candlelight, and with the sun shining through the stained-glass windows it felt like something out of a dream.
Her gown was an ivory laced Mermaid dress that fit her body perfectly. Her hair up held together by a pearl hair comb making her beauty even more defined. Yet Bobby wasn't mesmerized by the dress. It was the woman inside it, the one he had loved his whole life.
As she walked toward him, heart pounding, Bobby stood at the altar, his tuxedo perfectly tailored, brown eyes burning with emotion. The second she reached him, he offered her his hand.
"You look stunning," he whispered.
"You don't look too bad yourself." Sophia smiled, grabbing his fingers
A soft chuckle left his lips, but the undeniable love in his gaze told her everything. This was it
Neither one really heard the officiant's words as they sounded in the background, they were lost in each other. Then, it was time for their vows. Bobby took a deep breath, trying to steady his voice
"Sophia, I've known you for my entire life. You were my first, and best friend, my rival, my greatest challenge, and my biggest dream. And today, I get to make you my wife."
Sophia's vision blurred with tears.
"I promise to stand by you," Bobby continued. "To fight for and with you, to challenge you, to push you to be even stronger than you already are. I promise to make the most of every moment with you. You'll never have to face the world alone"
Sophia inhaled sharply, trying her best to control her emotions her heart aching in the best way possible.
"My turn," she said
"Bobby… you've always been the person who could make me laugh when I wanted to cry, the one person who saw me for who I am and not just as my father's daughter. I promise to love you the way you deserve to be loved. To challenge you, support you, and always stand beside you."
Bobby smiled as he tried to hold back his own tears.
"Then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife."
Bobby didn't wait as soon as the words left his mouth, he pulled her in, capturing her lips in a deep, passionate kiss. The guests all erupted into applause, but neither of them noticed. Because at that moment, all they noticed was each other
After the ceremony was finished the reception was held at a hotel nearby. The guests were led into the ballroom, where all the tables were adorned with gorgeous floral arrangements, and crystal glassware, with soft music playing in the background. Laughter filled the space as everyone congratulated the newlyweds, raising their glass in a toast.
Bobby and Sophia shared their first dance in the center of the ballroom, moving perfectly together his hand on her waist as they swayed to the music.
"Looks like you're stuck with me now," she teased.
Bobby smiled. "That was always the plan, beautiful."
Sophia blushed as she stared into his eyes
Their friends cheered them on, clapping loudly as Bobby dipped Sophia, pressing a kiss to her lips.
As the evening continued and everyone was enjoying the celebration, the DJ tapped the microphone.
"If we could have everyone's attention, it's time for a speech from someone very dear to the groom."
Lena stood up, with her glass in her hand, she smirked as she looked at Bobby and Sophia.
"Well, here we are," she said with a playful glint. "My brother, Bobby Knight, is officially off the market. I have to admit, I never thought I'd see the day where a woman willingly put up with his stubbornness."
The crowd chuckled, and Bobby rolled his eyes, shaking his head.
"But," Lena continued "if there was ever a woman who could handle Bobby, it's Sophia. I've known them my whole life, and if I'm being honest, It's always been Bobby and Sophia never just Bobby, or just Sophia. They've always been best friends, and now, husband and wife."
Sophia swallowed hard, her grip tightening on Bobby's hand as she smiled at Lena.
"I grew up watching these two always bickering, stealing each other's food, and making everything into ridiculous competitions," she added "but I also watched them look out for each other. Push each other. Make each other better. And Sophia is the only person I've ever seen put you in your place."
Laughter rippled through the crowd as Bobby let out a sigh.
"And Sophia," Lena turned to her with a warm smile, "I've always looked up to you, as a big sister. You've been family long before this wedding, but now it's official."
Sophia let out a small laugh, wiping at the tears in her eyes.
"So," Lena raised her glass. "To my brother and his new wife. May you love each other for the rest of your lives."
The room erupted into applause and cheers as everyone raised their glasses. Bobby walked over, pulling Lena into a tight hug.
"Love you, sis," he murmured.
"Yeah, yeah," Lena teased. "Just don't mess this up."
After Lena's speech, Richard and Evelyn Knight, along with Henry and Elena Lancaster, took a moment to congratulate their children.
Henry clapped Bobby on the back. "You've grown into a fine young man, Bobby. I know we kind of pushed you and Sophia to work together, but after watching you two today, I know this was always meant to be."
Richard nodded in agreement. "Your mother and I couldn't be prouder. You've taken your place, not just as a CEO, but as a husband. And knowing you, you'll be just as great in love as you are in business."
Evelyn wiped at her eyes. "Bobby, I always knew you'd marry Sophia " she teased, squeezing his hand. "And Sophia, darling, welcome to the family even though, you've always been part of it."
Elena, Sophia's mother, pulled her into a warm embrace. "You're everything I ever hoped for in a daughter, and seeing you this happy makes me happy."
Sophia felt her heart swell. This wasn't just a wedding—it was the union of two families who had been intertwined for years, now officially bound forever.
The rest of the night was filled with laughter, dancing, and celebration. Bobby found himself at the bar with Drew and Marcus, the two of them raising their glasses.
"You did it," Drew grinned. "Finally locked her down."
Marcus chuckled. "I honestly thought you two would dance around each other forever."
Bobby shook his head, watching Sophia across the room, laughing with her friends. "She was always going to be mine."
Meanwhile, Sophia was dragged onto the dance floor by Caroline, Naomi, and Jenna.
"This is it, Mrs. Knight!" Naomi shouted over the music.
Sophia laughed, spinning around in her gown.
By the time the cake was cut, Bobby was getting impatient to get Sophia alone. As the reception wound down, the guests gathered outside with sparklers, forming a tunnel for the couple.
Bobby held Sophia's hand as they ran through, the glow of the sparklers illuminating their faces.
"Ready?" he asked, squeezing her hand.
Sophia smiled. "More than ever."
By the time they arrived at their room, exhaustion from the reception lingered in Sophia's body, but it was nothing compared to the fire Bobby felt.
Bobby's room was already decorated when the entered, soft candlelight flickered against the walls, and the bed was covered with scattered rose petals. But none of it mattered.
The moment he shut the door behind them, he pushed her back up against it kissing her deeply, expressing all the emotions he felt right now. As he pulled away from the kiss he pulled out the comb from her hair letting it flow down all past her shoulders and undid her lace letting her dress fall of her and on the ground
"You're so beautiful," he murmured, his fingers brushing down her arms, sending shivers across her skin.
Sophia's lips parted, but she didn't get the chance to respond before Bobby's lips captured hers in another kiss.
She melted into him, her hands running through his hair as he pulled her closer, their bodies fitting together perfectly. He didn't rush instead he slowly led her toward the bed, his kisses growing deeper, and deeper as he laid her down on the soft sheets.
Sophia gasped when her back hit the mattress, her legs parting slightly as Bobby hovered over her, his weight pressing down just enough to drive her insane. His hands glided up her stomach, cupping her breasts, thumbs brushing over her nipples, making her gasp.
"Bobby," she whimpered as his other hand kept going lower and lower.
He smirked, rubbing lightly against her sweet spot, his fingers teasing around her entrance before sliding inside. She cried out, her hips lifting up, desperate for more.
"You're so tight," Bobby whispered in her ear, giving her a light nibble enjoying the way she reacted to his touch.
Sophia squirmed beneath him, ready for more.
"Please," she whimpered.
Bobby's control snapped.
He spread her open, positioning himself at her entrance.
"You ready?" he asked, voice strained barely holding back.
Sophia nodded quickly, her body trembling.
With one slow thrust, he pushed inside her. Sophia's eyes widened as he spread her apart, breathing faster as he filled her. She cried out, her back arching desperate for more.
"You feel so good," he groaned, his pace quickening
"Bobby "Sophia moaned his name, as he sent her spiraling into pleasure. And that night, Sophia became his
