Chapter 94: Adorable Razor

"PA!"

A crisp slap echoed through the air.

Behind Qiu Xue, Lumine and Paimon stood frozen in shock even Razor eyes widened in disbelief.

In that moment, they all witnessed something unbelievable—

Qiu Xue had just slapped the Abyss Herald.

And with just one slap, the Abyss Herald was sent flying in a straight line, crashing into the distant stone wall with terrifying force.

"BOOM!"

A dull explosion rang out as the Herald body smashed through the wall, sending debris tumbling down onto him, engulfing the area in a cloud of dust.

"I-I think this is the first time I've seen Qiu Xue fight…"

"I never thought such a beautiful big sister could be so ruthless!"

Paimon gawked at the scene, then turned to Qiu Xue with a look of pure amazement.

Lumine, standing beside her, had her mouth wide open in shock and quickly nodded in agreement.

They had seen Qiu Bai fight before.

But this was the first time they had seen Qiu Xue throw a punch or rather, a slap.

"S-So fierce… Big Sister is scary."

Razor golden eyes remained wide with awe as he stared at Qiu Xue elegant but terrifying figure.

"Cough… cough…!"

From within the thick smoke, the Abyss Herald staggered forward, clutching his chest.

That single slap from Qiu Xue had clearly done some serious damage.

"Damn it… what an unbelievably strong woman."

"Hmph… The ritual has been disrupted for now… You're all lucky."

The Abyss Herald cast one last glance at Qiu Xue, then shifted his gaze to Boreas, the Wolf of the North Wind.

With a cold snort, he retreated into a portal and disappeared.

"He actually survived a slap from Qiu Xue and can still talk?!"

"Are all Abyss Heralds this durable?!"

Paimon waved her hands in the air, utterly baffled by what she had just witnessed.

Qiu Xue watched as the Abyss Herald fled, a playful smile tugging at her lips.

If she had used her full strength just now.

The entire terrain of Bishui Plain might have been slightly altered.

Turning away from the battlefield, Qiu Xue gaze landed on Paimon, who was floating mid-air.

She smiled gently.

"Little Paimon, did you miss Big Sis?"

"Hehe, of course I did!"

Paimon beamed at the beautiful Qiu Xue, nodding enthusiastically.

Then, she muttered under her breath in a barely audible voice.

"It'd be nice if she stayed like this forever…"

Qiu Xue took elegant strides forward and gently patted Paimon little head with a warm smile.

Then, she turned to Lumine, who was clearly waiting for her turn with eager eyes.

"Hehehe."

Qiu Xue let out a soft, melodic chuckle, covered her mouth with her delicate hand, and then patted Lumine head as well.

Finally, she turned her gaze toward Razor.

"Gentle big sister… different from before… not fierce."

"You are… friend, not enemy."

Razor lifted his head, looking up at Qiu Xue, his words spoken in broken phrases.

"So cute."

Qiu Xue smiled and stepped forward, gently patting Razor head. (T/N: I want to get head pats too... T^T)

"Don't dislike… head pats."

"Razor… likes."

A soft smile appeared on Razor's face as he placed a hand over his chest, enjoying the warmth of Qiu Xue touch.

"Looks like Razor really likes Qiu Xue too."

"But that guy sure ran away fast!"

Paimon, watching Qiu Xue pat Razor head, commented while folding her arms, then glanced in the direction where the Abyss Herald had vanished.

"Lupical of humans… I let you see me in such a state, how embarrassing."

"But the Abyss Herald… underestimated me far too much."

Boreas, the great Wolf King, spoke in a deep, resonant voice, his massive wolf form standing before them.

"Wolf King… does not reject trials."

"But… sinister outsider… did not follow… the trial's rules."

"I… did not notice… the trap they set."

Razor lowered his head, his tone filled with regret.

Seeing him like this, Qiu Xue gently ruffled his hair again, offering silent comfort.

"So basically, the Abyss Order had already prepared their corruption beforehand."

"Then they used the trial as an excuse to wake up the Wolf King."

Paimon eyes lit up in realization as she looked at Boreas.

"This isn't your fault, Razor."

"Don't be sad."

Lumine also stepped forward, gently reassuring him.

"Thank you… Lumine."

"In the future… my claws… need to be sharper."

Razor words were still broken, but his voice carried a firm resolve.

"Little Razor, don't move."

Qiu Xue crouched down, her beautiful eyes meeting his as she smiled.

Then, she slowly closed her eyes, and a mystical black-and-white energy swirled around her hands as she gently touched Razor's body.

The black-and-white aura flowed into Razor, channeling directly into his Vision.

In an instant, his Electro Vision glowed brightly and deep within its core, a faint rotating Taiji symbol appeared.

"My strength… grew a lot."

"I can… feel it… Thank you, Big Sister."

Razor looked at Qiu Xue, his hand resting over his heart, a bright smile spreading across his face.

"The gods have heard your voice."

"They also heard your resolve to protect this place. This is what little Razor rightfully deserves."

Qiu Xue gazed at him warmly before slowly rising to her feet.

"You… smelled danger… so you came here?"

Razor looked at Paimon and Lumine, his face filled with confusion.

"No, we heard about it—we don't have such a good sense of smell!"

"Besides coming to help, we also have something we need to ask."

Paimon quickly explained, waving her hands. It seemed like Razor had mistaken their tracking skills for a wolf's keen nose again.

"Excuse me… Lord of the North Wind,"

"Do you know about the world first plowing machine?"

Paimon turned to look at the massive Wolf King Boreas, asking cautiously.

"I care not for the creations of humankind. I do not know what a plowing machine is."

"However, if you are asking about impressive machinery, I do recall one."

"It once trespassed into my trial grounds. I regarded it as a warrior seeking to prove its strength."

Boreas shifted his gaze toward a distant wall, where ancient murals were carved into the stone.

"But it had no intelligence—only the desire to fight. From head to toe, it was forged for slaughter."

"In the end, my attacks damaged it. Before it collapsed, it left this trial ground."

The Wolf King of the North, Boreas, turned his gaze back to Lumine and Paimon, speaking slowly.

Hearing this, Qiu Xue furrowed her delicate brows.

"So it seems… the Wolf King mistook a Ruin Guard for a warrior taking the trial."

She covered her mouth and chuckled. She hadn't expected the mighty Wolf King to be so adorable treating a Ruin Guard as a brave challenger.

"Hmm… based on this description,"

"Isn't it still possible that it was the world's first plowing machine?"

Paimon tilted her head, glancing at Lumine with curiosity.

"Did it… spin around?"

"And did it fire missiles?"

Lumine asked, shifting her gaze to the enormous Wolf King with an odd expression.

"Missiles? No… I have already said I care not for human inventions. I do not understand these strange terms."

"But yes, it did spin. It could jump very high and launch fireballs."

"Its strength could not compare to that of a god, yet it surpassed many wielders of Visions."

Boreas stared blankly at Lumine, answering slowly.
