"What's this... you don't want me to keep you company?"

Waldo's voice floated toward Regina like a ghostly whisper, and her heart skipped a beat. She silently cursed herself, quickly explaining, "No, no! It's not that! I don't like eating alone, so if you can keep me company, that would be great... it's just... just that I don't want to delay your important matters!"

Hearing this, Waldo's lips curved into a slightly mischievous smile, and he slowly responded with a soft "Oh?"

"Really!" Regina, trying to make herself more convincing, nodded emphatically. Perhaps realizing she had answered too quickly, she felt a bit guilty, like a thief caught in the act. She awkwardly tugged at the corner of her mouth and, with her clear eyes looking up at Waldo, said awkwardly, "I heard Lara say that sometimes you're so busy you forget to eat. So, if you eat with me, then... you'll be able to eat properly..."
