Chapter 6: The Hidden Room
Emily pulled me into her dorm room and locked the door behind us. "We have to be careful," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "The Order has eyes and ears everywhere."
I nodded, my heart still racing from our narrow escape. "What's the plan?" I asked.
Emily smiled, a mischievous glint in her eye. "I have a feeling that the key to unlocking the secrets of Ravenswood Academy lies in a hidden room deep within the school."
I raised an eyebrow. "A hidden room?"
Emily nodded. "Yes. I've been researching the school's blueprints, and I think I've found a way in."
Without another word, Emily grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room. We made our way through the dark and deserted hallways, avoiding detection by the Order.
As we reached the entrance to the hidden room, Emily produced a small key from her pocket. "This was hidden in an old yearbook," she explained.
The key turned smoothly in the lock, and the door creaked open. We stepped inside, finding ourselves in a small, dimly lit room filled with old books and dusty artifacts.
Suddenly, Emily gasped, her eyes fixed on something in the corner of the room. "Look," she whispered.
I followed her gaze, and my heart skipped a beat. What I saw changed everything.
