Chapter 10: The Shadow in the Night

I tried to shine my light into the shadows, but it was too dark. The rustling sound grew louder, and I could sense something moving closer.

"What is it?" Emily whispered, her voice trembling.

I shook my head. "I don't know, but I think we should get out of here."

As we turned to leave, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was a woman with long, curly hair and a white dress that seemed to glow in the darkness.

"Welcome, Emily," she said, her voice low and mysterious. "I've been waiting for you."

Emily's eyes widened in fear. "Who are you?" she demanded.

The woman smiled. "I'm someone who knows the secrets of Ravenswood Academy. And I'm here to help you uncover them."

But as she stepped closer, I realized that something was off. Her eyes seemed to gleam with an otherworldly intensity, and her smile seemed to hide a sinister intent.

Was she friend or foe?
