CHAPTER 74:The Fall of an Admiral

"Although it's unbelievable… Ayr's current strength is likely on par with figures like Rocks. Losing to him is not your fault, Sengoku."

No one could have predicted that Ayr—who had only recently joined the Rocks Pirates—would grow into a warrior who inspires dread among even the strongest. His power had risen to an unfathomable level, rivaling Rocks D. Xebec himself.

If they hadn't seen it firsthand, no one would have believed that a single person could progress at such a monstrous pace. Ayr had shattered conventional limits and rewritten the definition of power itself.

"Damn it! We've trained endlessly, yet we're still falling behind him?" Sengoku gritted his teeth in frustration.

Since Ayr first bested Garp, they had known that the Rocks Pirates harbored someone even younger than them, yet stronger.

Determined not to be outmatched, they had undergone brutal training every day, convinced they had closed the gap.

But now, the reality was undeniable—the difference was far greater than they had ever imagined.

"We were never meant to compare ourselves to true monsters," Zephyr sighed, disappointment flashing in his eyes.

With Sengoku's defeat, the battle became a one-on-one between Ayr and Sabertooth Admiral.

But in his Six Paths Sage Mode, Ayr was utterly overwhelming the Marine officer, leaving him with almost no room to retaliate.

At the same time, the heavily wounded Golden Lion had been knocked unconscious by Brownie.

Now, Brownie turned his attention toward Ayr, joining forces with Sabertooth Admiral in an attempt to bring him down.

Even so, Ayr was holding his ground.

Time passed—ten intense minutes.

"Marine Admirals are more tenacious than I expected," Ayr remarked as he hovered midair, looking down on his battered opponents.

Sabertooth Admiral was covered in wounds, his right arm rendered useless, his entire body drenched in blood. His injuries were severe, and he was barely able to remain on his feet.

Brownie, however, had suffered relatively minor damage, since Ayr had focused primarily on Sabertooth Admiral.

"I never imagined that the young warrior we once labeled as a 'man with great potential' would reach such heights in such a short time," Sabertooth Admiral admitted, his voice laced with regret. "It was our negligence that allowed you to grow unchecked."

"But even if it costs my life today... I will erase you!" His eyes burned with determination.

Ayr's power had exceeded even their worst expectations. If left unchecked, he would become a threat beyond comprehension.

They couldn't afford to imagine what he would become if he kept growing.

Sabertooth Admiral was willing to gamble everything on this battle, even his life.

"You alone won't be enough," Ayr said coldly.

You already lost one-on-one. What makes you think you stand a chance now?

"Then what about me?!" Brownie stepped forward, throwing off his coat, revealing his scarred, battle-hardened physique.

As the Fleet Admiral, Brownie had fought legends like Rocks D. Xebec.

And now, as he faced Ayr, he felt the same overwhelming pressure.

If he wanted to win, he had to go all out!

"Then let's see you try!"

Ayr's Six Paths Sage Mode granted him enhanced speed, perception, and flight.

This made it nearly impossible for Brownie and Sabertooth Admiral to land a hit.

Even if they managed to wound him, Ayr's Sage Body allowed him to heal at an alarming rate.

"I refuse to believe you can sustain this form forever!" Brownie roared, murderous intent flashing in his eyes.

"Attack together!"

Brownie gave the order, and once again, he and Sabertooth Admiral rushed Ayr with everything they had.

"It seems I'll only have time to kill one of you today," Ayr muttered to himself.

While the Six Paths Sage Mode was immensely powerful, it had a time limit.

He could only maintain it for half an hour.

Now, twenty minutes remained.

In the next ten minutes, he needed to kill as many Marines as possible.

Then, he would use the remaining time to escape.

If he wasted his final minutes on a prolonged fight, survival would be impossible.

Once the Six Paths Sage Mode experience card expired…

Death awaited him.

"Tailed Beast Bomb: Spiral Shuriken!!!"

This technique combined the S-rank Tailed Beast Bomb with the power of the Rasenshuriken, producing unparalleled destructive force.

Ayr extended his arm—suddenly, a whirlwind of energy erupted around him.

Countless streams of natural energy gathered at his palm, forming a purple-black sphere, encased in the spiraling Rasengan.

As the sphere expanded and rotated, its destructive aura intensified.

The Tailed Beast Bomb: Spiral Shuriken was complete.

"Die!!!"

Ayr hurled it toward Sabertooth Admiral.

Then—he formed another.

Then another.

He created three Tailed Beast Bomb: Spiral Shurikens in mere seconds.

Two were sent toward Sabertooth Admiral.

The last was aimed at Brownie.

"BOOM!!!"

"BOOM!!!"

The battlefield erupted in two deafening explosions.

The sky itself seemed to tremble, as black smoke and shockwaves engulfed the entire island.

Through the chaos, Ayr charged directly at Sabertooth Admiral.

The Marine was barely holding on.

He had endured two full-powered attacks.

Blood poured from his wounds.

He was half-kneeling, his entire body in tatters.

Even standing was a struggle.

As Ayr appeared before him, his face twisted in terror.

"Ayr!!!"

"Stop screaming—your life ends here."

Ayr clenched his fist.

Six Paths energy surged into it, wrapping it in a dense layer of Armament Haki.

"BOOM!!!"

A single, devastating punch shattered Sabertooth Admiral's skull.

His head caved in, twisted and deformed from the sheer impact.

Blood sprayed in every direction.

His eyes rolled back.

His body collapsed, lifeless.

Sabertooth Admiral was dead.

Through the dissipating smoke, Brownie arrived at the scene.

When he saw Sabertooth Admiral's mangled corpse—he froze.

A stunned silence filled the air.

Then… his hands clenched into fists.

Veins bulged across his forehead.

A monstrous rage erupted within him.

"You bastard!!!"

His longtime comrade—a warrior who had fought by his side for decades—was gone.

Murderous fury consumed him.

Ayr had just made the fight personal.
