CHAPTER 75:The Top Battle Nears Its End

"If there's still time... then you'll be the next one to die." Ayr gave Brownie a calm but chilling glance.

As much as he wanted to eliminate as many high-ranking Marines as possible using Six Paths Sage Mode, the reality was clear—his experience card had only 20 minutes of usage, and only ten minutes remained before it would expire.

Which meant...

He had to leave.

"You damn brat! Even if I have to lay down my life today—I WILL KILL YOU!" Brownie roared, his face twisted in fury.

His fist surged forward, coated in an overwhelming layer of Advanced Armament Haki—an attack capable of destroying even the most hardened opponents.

But Ayr didn't bother to block it.

Instead, he simply levitated higher into the air, effortlessly evading the strike.

The battlefield remained shrouded in black smoke from the Tailed Beast Bomb: Spiral Shuriken explosions, but as the smoke gradually cleared…

The full horror of the scene became visible.

Sabertooth Admiral's corpse lay lifeless.

"Blade Admiral…"

"What?! Blade Admiral is… DEAD?!"

"Hey, hey, this has to be a joke! Saber Admiral and Marshal Brownie were fighting together, and yet… one of them was killed?"

"Damn it… what kind of monster are we even facing?!"

Marines across the battlefield stood in stunned silence, their minds struggling to process what had just occurred.

An Admiral, one of the pillars of Marine Headquarters, had fallen.

They tried to understand how Ayr had done it—the only person they could compare him to was Rocks D. Xebec himself!

But Ayr was NOT Rocks.

He was just a cadre who had only recently joined the Rocks Pirates!

"Impossible… Sabertooth Admiral… was killed?"

Zephyr, Sengoku, and Tsuru—who had been watching from the sidelines while recovering from their injuries—all paled.

They had initially led an entire Marine battalion to Hachinosu, believing they had superior numbers and firepower.

The plan was supposed to be ten against ten.

But instead…

Not a single Rocks Pirate had been eliminated.

Instead, their own Admiral had died a tragic death.

To make things worse, this wasn't even the full force of the Rocks Pirates.

Only Ayr, Whitebeard, Charlotte Linlin, and Golden Lion were present.

The actual Rocks himself, along with the rest of the elite cadres, weren't even here!

If just a fraction of their forces could obliterate an Admiral…

What did that say about the full power of the Rocks Pirates?!

"Ayr… you bastard, just what the hell ARE you?!" Charlotte Linlin muttered, her shock evident.

She had casually told Ayr to stop hiding his true strength earlier in the battle.

And now?

He had wiped out an Admiral.

Had she known he had this much power, she wouldn't have even spoken!

If not for Ayr's very familiar face, she would have mistaken him for Rocks himself!

"What a monster…"

Byrnndi World stared at Ayr, his eyes filled with a rare sense of awe.

"This crew… the Rocks Pirates… they can create monsters like this?"

Kaido, standing nearby with his massive kanabo resting on his shoulder, suddenly smirked.

"Heh… this pirate crew is something else."

The young warrior had already decided to join the Rocks Pirates.

But now?

Seeing Ayr's strength firsthand only made him more eager to join.

If Ayr had become this strong under Rocks' banner, then that meant…

Kaido could become even stronger, too.

"Old la la la… Kong, do you Marines still have the confidence to take us down?" Whitebeard laughed, his massive naginata resting against his shoulder.

Kong, the Commander-in-Chief of the Marines, scowled.

He wanted to end Whitebeard quickly and rush to assist Brownie against Ayr.

But…

Even for him, defeating Whitebeard wasn't something that could be done in minutes.

"Edward, Linlin, Shiki… it's time to leave."

As the battle raged on, Ayr's voice echoed from above the battlefield.

At this point, there was no reason to continue fighting.

They had already killed an Admiral—which meant that the Rocks Pirates had gained the upper hand in this battle.

Now, the only objective left was escape.

Hearing those words, Golden Lion—who had been pretending to be unconscious—suddenly grinned and laughed.

"Jihahahaha… I was just waiting for you to say that, Ayr!"

Earlier, Golden Lion had sensed Ayr's absurd strength.

So rather than waste stamina fighting Brownie, he had faked unconsciousness, letting Ayr deal with the enemy instead.

Now that Ayr gave the retreat order, it was time to stop pretending.

"BOOM!!!"

Golden Lion flexed his arms—and snapped the chains binding him like twigs.

Since they weren't made of Seastone, they couldn't restrict him.

Ayr, who was still floating in the air, narrowed his eyes at Golden Lion and immediately scowled.

"Shiki, you sneaky bastard!"

You seriously played dead just to dump your opponent on me?!

Golden Lion simply shrugged.

"You can't blame me, Ayr! I was just giving you a chance to show off your strength!"

Although he was still shocked by Ayr's overwhelming power, he had already come to accept it.

At first, he had been stunned beyond belief.

But after seeing Ayr continuously dominate the battlefield, he had adjusted to the reality of it.

It was clear—Ayr was simply on another level.

"You bastard… Just focus on escaping already," Ayr sighed.

"Oi! Ayr, you're not just gonna abandon me, are you?!" Golden Lion called out in a panic.

Ayr ignored him and descended toward Whitebeard.

"Edward, use your Devil Fruit to create a tsunami and throw this entire battlefield into chaos.

"That'll give me a chance to get us out of here."

Although Ayr could fly, he couldn't escape alone.

Why?

Because Brownie was still alive.

And Brownie could use Soru and Geppo (Moonwalk) to chase him down.

If Brownie pursued him for another ten minutes, once Ayr's Six Paths Sage Mode expired, he would be caught and killed instantly.

So the only option was to cause mass chaos.

That way, he could ensure the entire Rocks crew could escape together.

"Old la la la…" Whitebeard grinned, cracking his knuckles.

"Fine… I'll shake the seas a little."

At that moment, he raised his naginata high—preparing to unleash the power of the Gura Gura no Mi.

The battle wasn't over yet.

But the tides were about to shift once more.
