"Of course," Ayr nodded firmly.

The agreement between him and Rocks was simple: fight for the Rocks Pirates until their eventual collapse.

Ayr was a man of his word, and his loyalty was unwavering. He would honor this pact. But deep down, Ayr knew that the Rocks Pirates were on their last legs.

He was well aware that he was the only one still capable of giving his all to the crew. The rest of the members were far too absorbed in their own ambitions. The Rocks Pirates were fractured, and the end was near.

Meanwhile, far from the chaotic struggles aboard the ship, the Holy Land of the Celestial Dragons, known as the Valley of the Gods, was a hub of military activity.

A dozen elite Marine battleships were anchored near the Valley of the Gods. These ships were the pinnacle of Marine engineering—equipped with the finest materials, shells, and weapons available. They were the pride of Naval Headquarters.

At the head of this military force were the Three Admirals, along with numerous Vice Admirals and countless Marine elites. The sheer number of troops mobilized for this operation exceeded even the force that had once encircled Ayr and his crew at Hive Island.

In a secluded room within the Valley of the Gods, the highest-ranking officials of the Marine Headquarters were gathered to discuss their strategy to crush the Rocks Pirates once and for all. The tension in the air was palpable.

A knock echoed through the room.

"Dong dong!"

Brownie, a senior Marine officer, raised an eyebrow and turned toward the door. "Enter."

The door creaked open, revealing a group of CPO agents—the strongest and most secretive division in the service of the Celestial Dragons. These men wore masks, hiding their identities and loyalties.

Kong, the Marshal of the Marine Headquarters, glanced at the group of CPO agents and spoke coolly. "So, these are the reinforcements sent by the World Government?"

The World Government had provided their own force to ensure the success of this mission. After all, the Rocks Pirates posed a grave threat to their rule.

"Yes," Deros, a CPO officer, replied, his voice calm. "But we are not the only reinforcements. You'll see more soon."

Kong's eyebrows furrowed. "More? Who?"

"We have already located the Roger Pirates and Byrnndi Wald's Pirates, and we've made overtures to them. I believe they will join us soon."

Though Marines and pirates were traditionally enemies, pirates often fought amongst themselves. The Rocks Pirates were the biggest threat to all pirates, overshadowing even the legendary Roger Pirates. The World Government believed that the Roger Pirates and the Byrnndi Wald Pirates would accept an alliance, if only for a chance to take down Rocks.

"What are you saying?" Brownie snapped, standing up in shock. His voice was filled with disbelief. "We're going to rely on the help of pirates to destroy the Rocks group?!"

The Roger Pirates and Byrnndi Wald Pirates were some of the most formidable pirate factions in the New World, only overshadowed by the Rocks Pirates. They were enemies of the Marines in their own right, and the thought of using them as allies angered Brownie to his core.

"Are you serious?" He slammed his fist on the table. "The Roger Pirates and Byrnndi Wald's crew are as dangerous as Rocks itself. And now we're going to use them to destroy the Rocks?"

"Don't forget your defeat on Hive Island," Deros sneered, his cold eyes scanning the room. "None of the Rocks Pirates are simpletons. Even if we join forces, there's no guarantee we'll wipe them out. But if we get help from those two pirate crews, we'll have a real chance."

He was well aware of how dangerous the Rocks Pirates were. Ayr had nearly single-handedly defeated him back on Hive Island, only to be saved by the timely arrival of the Five Elders. And now, Deros himself was here to ensure revenge for that defeat.

"The Five Elders didn't personally intervene because they didn't consider the Rocks Pirates a direct threat to Mariejois," Deros explained, "but now, they've chosen to send us here. If we can't eliminate Rocks now, the balance of the New World will shift. We can't afford to wait any longer."

There was a heavy silence in the room as Kong and the others exchanged tense glances. They knew Rocks was dangerous, but joining forces with pirates… it was a bitter pill to swallow.

"I refuse to join forces with pirates," Zhenwu Admiral said coldly, his eyes burning with resolve. "The Marine name is built on justice, and if we ally with pirates, we tarnish that honor."

"Yes," Hei Bat, another Marine officer, added. "We are Marines. We must stand on the side of justice, not bloodthirsty pirates."

"Justice?" Deros laughed darkly. "Are you really going to let the Rocks Pirates run rampant because of your 'justice'?"

His words struck a nerve with everyone present. The truth was undeniable: the Rocks Pirates were a dire threat, and the Marines alone might not be enough to stop them. If they didn't get help, they would suffer heavy casualties.

Another CPO agent, standing behind Deros, spoke up, "Don't worry. We'll keep the alliance with the pirates a secret. The Marines will get all the credit for this victory."

"Credit? That's not the point!" Kong barked. "What Marine needs is victory. Not the stain of working with pirates."

At that moment, the room fell into an uneasy silence. There was no easy solution. But the stakes were too high to ignore.

New World, Roger Pirates' Ship

Meanwhile, far across the New World, aboard the Roger Pirates' ship, a party was underway. The atmosphere was lighthearted—Captain Roger and his crew were relaxing and drinking together. It wasn't uncommon for the Roger Pirates to have such moments of camaraderie during their travels.

Suddenly, a pigeon carrying a newspaper flew overhead, dropping several bounty posters to the deck.

Rayleigh, who had been sipping on his drink, looked up just in time to catch one of the posters. His smile faded as he looked down at it.

"What's wrong, Rayleigh?" Jabba, his comrade, asked, noticing the sudden change in his expression.

Rayleigh handed him the poster without a word. Jabba took it, at first dismissing it as just another bounty. But when he saw the bounty amounts on the posters, his eyes widened in disbelief. His jaw dropped, and he stared at the figures in shock.

"Is this real?!" Jabba muttered, struggling to comprehend the numbers on the poster.
