The Brother's Warning

Lisa could feel the tension the moment Vincent arrived.

He was tall, well-dressed, and exuded power—but unlike Felix's cold, distant presence, Vincent had a certain charm that made people drawn to him.

Yet, Felix's expression darkened instantly.

"What do you want, Vincent?" Felix repeated, his voice sharp.

Vincent smirked. "Can't a big brother say hello?"

Felix didn't answer.

Lisa shifted uncomfortably. She had heard about Vincent Zhan before—he was a respected name in tech, but not part of Z&K. Unlike Felix, who carried their entire family's responsibilities, Vincent had walked away.

"Lisa, right?" Vincent suddenly turned to her, his smile polite but too knowing.

Lisa hesitated. "Yes…"

Vincent's eyes studied her carefully, making her feel like he was evaluating something.

"I didn't expect Felix to bring a date," he mused. "It's… interesting."

Lisa forced a smile. "Well, I'm full of surprises."

Vincent chuckled. "I can see that."

Felix stepped between them. "If you're done wasting time, leave."

Vincent sighed dramatically. "Always so rude." Then, his gaze turned serious. "But since you're here, I might as well say it—be careful, Felix."

Felix's jaw tightened. "Of what?"

Vincent's smirk faded. "You know what."

For a second, Felix hesitated.

Lisa caught the flicker of something—was it… concern?

But before she could ask, Vincent's attention turned back to her.

"And you, Lisa," he said smoothly. "You seem like a smart girl. But you should know something about my little brother."

Lisa stiffened. "What?"

Vincent smiled, but his eyes held a warning.

"Felix doesn't do attachments. Whatever you think this is… don't get fooled."

Lisa's heart skipped.

Felix tensed.

Lisa wasn't sure why, but it felt like this night had taken a completely different turn.
