Chapter 3: The Child Prodigy

It is been 4 years since I woke up from the world of Young Sheldon and I have to tell you, it's great not having to shit in a diaper, believe me, it's humiliating and it doesn't help if you can't control it but still having the consciousness, we are now nearing our 5th birthday, Georgie and I.

My name is John in this life which is weird to hear since I got used to my name, Gabriel, well I'm adjusting, also my talents here are insane, our parents gave us crayons to play with and I decided to draw something, it turned into a beautiful picture, and I wasn't even trying that hard, I just scribbled here and there then I created an image of a lion, it only took me 30 minutes and even then, I draw something that even my past self would struggle to do in a month, my parents saw my drawing and cuddle me saying that I'm a genius, so they just bought me more drawing supplies, even if he can't hold the crayon properly due to his age and limited motor skills.

Narrator POV:

Then, starting from that moment, John started drawing more and more, from various animals from the zoo where we would go, like zebra, apes, giraffes, tigers, and more, you can see his progress in every drawing and painting where he slowly got his motor skills to work, then after making sure that he can stroke a brush properly now, John started his journey in paintings, like painting the view he saw in their family outings, like parks or even just in their house, It's starting to show his talent as Leonardo da Vinci and Mycroft Holmes, where he would over analyze everything that he observes in the world and create a mental image of that memory and he would calculate the depth or range of his painting, the result was so realistic that other people would think it was a high-quality camera where it would capture every single detail of my eye, like the several months ago, where John painted a portrait of his mom for her birthday, she remarked that it was like her reflection to a mirror,

Several Months Ago

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!," John and Georgie greeted their mother"

"Here is our gift for you, well technically it's my gift, I just let Georgie in since he doesn't have any," John said after giving the gift.

"Hey butt out, it's our gift, no takebacks since you already agreed to share" Georgie butted in

"Awwww, thank you, baby," Mary said while opening the gift that was wrapped in a gift paper.

"What is this baby?" said Mary looking at the painting, where she was so amazed that she yelled to call George immediately.

"GEORGE, COME HERE, NOW!!!" Mary yelled.

"Why, what happened?" George said while going to Mary, where Mary handed the gift

"WOW, I thought it was expensive to print a picture this size?" George remarked without realizing that it was a painting.

"No Dad, it was a painting, I made it for Mom's birthday last month, I just finished it yesterday and I'm offended you would think that it's hard to paint you know," John said while acting offended.

"Ohhh, Sorry, it just looks a lot like a picture instead of a painting, it's different from your past paintings isn't it?" George said to John while shrugging.

"Still, it's amazing isn't Mare?" George said to Mary to hopefully change the subject.

"Yes it is, you are amazing sweetie, I'm so proud of you," Mary said proudly to John.

"Heeyy, what about me, it's my gift too," Georgie said while remarking that he was slowly being forgotten in the conversation.

"Yes, yes, we are also proud of you Georgie, you eat your vegetables now," Mary and Georgie said at the same time.

"Yes, I know, I'm awesome," Georgie said pridefully.

"You know, you are simple, like a book that kindergarteners read," John said to Georgie.

"What does that even mean? Dork" Georgie answered.

"See, a simpleton" John answered back to Georgie, the brothers pushed each other playfully.

"Stop fighting, Now let's get ready, we will go to the park today," Mary said to the twins.

End of Flashback

Now, John just continues painting this realistic 'picture' to create a portfolio, since he can apply for an art program, it was a university near George's school offers one in Galveston, which was a start, and when he learned that he can apply for the art program by submitting a portfolio, he quickly showcased his talent for arts, when applying for the art program they said that John just needed to pass a portfolio to evaluate if he would be qualified for their 3-month full scholarship art program, where they would teach him more about art.

"GEORGIE, SHUT UP, I CAN'T CONCENTRATE TO MY PAINTING," John said to Georgie who was singing even if he was off-key and just shouting.

"YOU SHUT UP, I CAN'T SING IF YOU KEEP SHOUTING" Georgie yelled back to John.

"YOU ARE NOT SINGING, YOU ARE JUST SHOUTING THE LYRICS, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT TUNE" John yelled at the top of his lungs to Georgie who in turn just started shouting louder.

"FINE, BE THAT WAY, I'LL TELL MOM WHAT YOU DID" John shouted again at Georgie.

"All right, just shut up," Georgie said, being defeated, since John had some blackmail stuff.

'Ahhh peace and quiet, now where was I, ahh here,' John immediately went back to painting the moment he got what he needed.
