Chapter 50: Freedom

Brie's POV

Logan scoffed. With our grades, there should be no reason that Vic didn’t get into any college, even if she didn’t get into the college of her dreams.

“What are you talking about leave you here alone? I’m pretty sure you’re on the first plane ride out of here,” Logan added.

“I’m not leaving. I mean, I am, but not as far as you guys are probably going,” Vic clarified.

“What are you talking about?” I asked, climbing off of Lynx.

She hadn’t told me anything revolving around her plans for leaving or staying in Riverback Heights. This wasn’t like her; this wasn’t like us to keep secrets.

“I’ve been spending a lot of time with Ollie lately,” she began.

“You cannot be seriously throwing your life away over a guy,” Logan exploded.

“Will you let her finish?” Lynx asked.

Once again showing his spoiled boy side, Logan huffed and pouted again. He crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his wrist, indicating that Vic could continue.
