A Quiet Dinner Before Battle
Shin, Shego, and Velzard sat around the dining table, enjoying a hearty meal of steak, potatoes, and freshly baked bread. The warm glow of the candles illuminated their faces as the evening air settled around them.
Shin looked up from his plate, glancing at his two wives.
"You two don't have to come out tonight," he said softly, his tone calm but firm. "It should be a quick battle."
Velzard raised an eyebrow, her piercing blue eyes narrowing slightly.
"Is there a particular reason you don't want us to come, dear husband?" she asked, her voice cool but with a hint of curiosity.
Shin sighed, setting his fork down.
"Yes," he admitted. "I think tonight's battle isn't worth your time. I'm only going because I'm the leader, and I want to make sure I don't lose any of my soldiers. But I know…" He paused, glancing at them both. "I know you two don't need my protection. You're more than capable of defending yourselves."
"Then why—" Shego started, but Shin cut her off gently.
"It's just a small skirmish," he assured them. "This should be a quick and easy experience gain. You can both come out for the other nine nights. I have a feeling," he added with a smirk, "that we might have some… new residents tomorrow. Possibly of pure dragon blood, thanks to my awakened lineage. And maybe…" He glanced at Shego, "even a few phoenixes, drawn by your presence."
Velzard and Shego exchanged glances, their expressions darkening slightly at the mention of succubi.
"And… perhaps some succubi might come as well," Shin murmured, noticing the sudden change in their moods.
The temperature in the room seemed to drop.
Shin Quickly Tries to Defuse the Situation
"I want you both to be ready for tonight," he said quickly, trying to lighten the mood. "Shego, don't worry—" He flashed her a playful smile. "Velzard and I will make sure that little fox stays out of your mind."
Velzard, picking up on his tone, smirked.
"Yes, Shego," Velzard purred. "We can't have our dear husband adding more sisters when he hasn't even satisfied the ones he has yet… even if he is a dragon."
Shego crossed her arms but couldn't hide the slight grin tugging at her lips.
"I'm going to hold you to that," she teased, her green eyes flashing with mischief. "And when you come back, you're handling both of us."
Shin leaned back, giving them a cocky grin.
"Of course," he said smoothly. Then his gaze flicked to Velzard. "And you, dear… I expect to see that tail of yours tonight."
Velzard's cheeks flushed a soft pink, and she turned her head to the side.
"Sure… bad husband," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Preparing for Battle
After finishing dinner, Shin stood and stretched, his mind already focused on the upcoming battle. As he walked out, he called for Heart.
"Heart," he said, "set me up with a daily training plan, please."
"One second, big brother," Heart replied.

He walked toward the stables where his Chaos Wolf waited patiently. He placed a hand on the wolf's head.
"From now on, your name will be Apocalypse," he said softly. "You are the leader of my Chaos Wolves."
Apocalypse let out a low growl of approval, his glowing eyes showing understanding.
"Let's go," Shin said, hopping onto the wolf's back. "Time to end this quickly. We have a busy day tomorrow."
The Choice: Conquer or Fall
As they approached the territory wall, Shin's sharp ears picked up a familiar voice.
"Hello, all new lords of Alros," Gavin's voice echoed from the heavens. "This is a decree from the Gods and Goddesses. You will have a 30-day protection period. For the first ten nights, there will be night attacks. Victory will grant you treasure chests and experience for your troops. The higher the difficulty, the greater the rewards."
Gavin's voice grew more serious.
"You may choose from three levels: Normal, Hard, or Conquer. Choose wisely, for the path you take will determine your future strength."
Shin's dragon lineage roared within him, and his decision was instant.
"Conquer," he said, his voice firm and unwavering.
(Ding! Difficulty set to: Conquer. Prepare for battle.)
Rallying the Troops
Shin drew his spear, his aura flaring with intensity as he addressed his soldiers.
"Tonight," he began, his voice echoing across the wall, "we fight not just for ourselves but for the future of the Kingdom of Legends! Every one of you will walk away from this battle stronger. And remember…" He narrowed his eyes. "None of you are allowed to die. Am I understood?"
"Yes, Lord Shin! For the Kingdom of Legends!" The soldiers roared in unison, their morale surging.
"Archers!" Shin commanded. "Take the wall with Ka Ryo Ten and En!"
"Yes, my lord!"
"The rest of you will split up," Shin continued. "Ri Shin, Kyou Kai, take So Sui and San Nou and lead the troops. Remember—no one dies tonight!"
"Understood!"
The First Wave Approaches
(Wave One: Level One Goblins — 0/400 Killed.)
The night air grew tense as the sound of goblins echoed in the distance.
Shin's grip on his spear tightened.
"Let's show these creatures the power of the Kingdom of Legends," he murmured, his golden eyes flashing with anticipation.
"Apocalypse," he whispered to his wolf. "It's time."
The battle had begun… and Shin was ready to conquer.
