As they headed toward the temple, Shin asked, "Heart, can I get the church now?"

"Yes, host. Which one would you like?

• A common church (low-level faith, holds small gatherings) — 50 system points.

• A standard church (medium-level faith, holds normal gatherings) — 100 system points.

• A cathedral (large faith, holds large gatherings) — 150 system points.

• A grand cathedral (comes with nuns, cardinals, priests, and popes to preach to all gods and goddesses in the current pantheon) — 250 system points."

"Heart, place one grand cathedral and one cathedral."

"Yes, host."

A flash of white light illuminated the area, and two cathedrals appeared—one noticeably larger than the other.

"Now I can hold weddings for my citizens," Shin murmured with satisfaction.

"Big brother, I need to upgrade," Heart informed him. "It should take about two hours. You can still access your inventory, take and complete missions, and use the gacha. The only thing that will be offline is the system store."

"Heart, will you be okay?" Shin asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

"Yes, big brother," Heart reassured him. "I'm growing because the territory is prospering and getting stronger. See you after my update."

Shin sighed in contemplation as they entered the temple. He felt the familiar sensation of white light envelop them as they approached the four members of his pantheon. They all seemed happy to see him, especially the two goddesses.

Shin turned to Thurdd. "I wanted to ask about my dragon heritage. I thought I was a multicolored dragon."

Thurdd smiled and elaborated. "Dear husband, you and most of your father's side are void dragons. Void dragons are the strongest living dragons, possessing all the advantages of both color and metallic dragons. This strength comes from the fact that void dragons inherited most of Tiamat's power before her marriage to my father, another dragon god.

"However, there's one drawback—reproduction. Without a harem, void dragons can only have children with their partners, regardless of gender. That's why Lilith gave you that blessing as a gift. It ensures you can have multiple children. Haven't you ever wondered why your mother, someone with the blood of a succubus queen, only had one child?"

"I never thought of it like that…" Shin murmured.

"It's okay, dear husband," Thurdd reassured him gently. "Your void dragon genes will merge perfectly with the succubus genes from your mother. With all your wives, we've ensured that they can handle it. We've also shortened the pregnancy period. Instead of the usual two years it took for you to be born, your wives will have nine-month pregnancies.

"We've even added a bonus—every time you impregnate one of your wives, you'll receive a wife gacha ticket. For now, only your dragon and succubus wives will be safe to have sex while carrying your children."

"We also want to congratulate you on your victory and the improvement of your territory," she added. "We'll post more missions after you leave."

Aether spoke next. "You have a decision to make regarding the goblins. After killing the emperor, you can:

• Take them in, name their race, and give them dragon blood like you did with the chaos wolves.

• Name them individually and make them dragon-born.

• Or eliminate them completely.

"The choice is yours, young monarch. But I will say this—every king needs people. You've seen how strong goblins can become when given a chance to grow, like in Re:Monster and Tensura. If used properly, they can be a great asset."

"Thank you for the advice, Lord Aether. I'll take it into consideration."

"That's all I ask, young monarch," Aether replied.

Thurdd spoke again. "I see you are assimilating Shin Wilford's mana. Your first two magic affinities are fire and lightning. You did well to merge his mana with your own and gain his knowledge of magic. Even though you can master all types of magic, you'll need to get used to channeling mana and practicing fire and lightning magic. You should find books on all affinities in the Dragon Mountain."

"Darling," Lilith interjected softly, "I have two tasks for you."

"Yes, Lilith?"

"Host a wedding for Ri Shin and Kyou Kai in the new grand cathedral. Also, mark any succubi in the territory by activating their succubus mark. Completing these tasks will allow all members of the territory to have children with other species without complications or prolonged pregnancies."

"Hayato," Aether added, his tone stern, "don't neglect your training—even with your new wives."

"Yes, Lord Hayato. I'll resume my daily training after I return from checking out the nearby town."

"You better," Hayato warned, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, "or I'll increase your nightly battle difficulty, you brat."

"Now go," Aether said. "We want to see how much you progress before your next visit."
