Classified Research Facility – Nevada Desert, Present Day
The U.S. military had no idea what to do with Karna.
They locked him in a reinforced containment chamber, monitored by armed guards and high-tech surveillance systems. But Karna sat in meditation, unmoved, unbothered.
Dr. Carter and General Thompson stood in the control room, watching through the glass.
Thompson crossed his arms. "He hasn't eaten or drunk anything since he got here."
Dr. Carter frowned. "It's possible his body is conditioned to survive under extreme conditions. But what worries me more… is the readings."
Thompson turned to her. "Readings?"
She pointed at the monitor. "His body emits a faint electromagnetic field, and it's… slowly growing stronger. It's like his presence is warping the very physics around him."
Thompson muttered. "What the hell is he?"
Before she could answer, alarms blared across the facility.
A soldier rushed in. "Sir, we've detected an energy spike at the ChronoGate site! Something's trying to come through!"
Carter and Thompson rushed to the observation deck.
The air inside the abandoned portal site crackled with unstable energy, as a second rupture formed.
And then, from the rift, a figure stepped through.
It was Krishna.
His blue skin radiated with divine light, his yellow garments flowing as if untouched by gravity. His serene gaze fell upon the military officials like a storm held in check.
"You have taken something that does not belong to you," Krishna said, his voice calm yet terrifying.
General Thompson instinctively reached for his sidearm.
"Stand down," Dr. Carter whispered, her throat dry. "That's not just any man."
Krishna glanced past them, his eyes falling upon the glass chamber.
Karna stood inside, his golden aura flaring to life as he gazed upon his lord's arrival.
"Vasudeva," Karna whispered, his hands tightening into fists.
Krishna smiled. "It is time, Karna. The wheel of time must be set right."
The air hummed with unnatural power, and the lights flickered as the sheer force of his presence distorted reality.
Thompson turned to his men. "What the hell do we do?!"
Carter could barely breathe. "We might have just started a war between gods and men."
And in the containment chamber, Karna smiled.
