Chapter 20: When Soldiers Walk Among Gods

Kurukshetra – The Night Before the War

The air was tense. The warriors of both sides were preparing for the greatest war ever fought in history.

But unknown to them… they were about to have visitors.

The sky cracked.

A portal ripped open, lightning sparking around it.

And from the vortex, figures emerged.

Not gods.

Not asuras.

But men.

Men clad in futuristic combat armor, carrying weapons unseen by any warrior of this age.

A special forces unit from the modern world—sent back in time.

Their mission?

"Eliminate Krishna. Capture Karna."

Their leader, a battle-hardened operative named Captain Jason Reynolds, looked at the vast battlefield before him.

"Jesus Christ," he whispered. "This… this isn't just history. This is a goddamn nuclear powder keg."

His second-in-command, Lt. Sarah Vaughn, checked her gear. "Orders confirmed. We take out the blue guy. We secure Karna. No witnesses."

Their night-vision scanned the battlefield.

Arjuna, standing near his chariot. Bhima, sharpening his mace. The greatest warriors of all time—unaware of the intruders in their age.

Then, on the horizon, they spotted him.

Krishna.

Standing atop Arjuna's chariot, his golden crown glowing under the moonlight.

Captain Reynolds tightened his grip on his weapon.

"Alright, boys."

"Let's see if a god can bleed."
